I cannot say enough about the staff and services at The Laser Imagine Company. Below is an outline of my personal experience with their services and staff. The office and treatment rooms are spotless; they go way beyond cleaning and making sure all Covid protocols are followed to a "T". I found The Laser Imagine Co, when I was looking for someone who could help me with scar tissue under my lip (formed after a flu outbreak a few years ago). I went to two dermatologist but neither really helped other than to rack up large invoices. I decided to find an alternative because I was tired of feeling embarrassed by how my lip look and feel. Then, I found Laser Imagine Company. After a consult, we decided to try injecting Restylane into my bottom lip area around where the scar tissue had formed. It worked wonderfully plus the nurse doing the procedure was gentle, confident and helped me stay calm. I couldn't be happier with the results. Now that we are almost "mask free" I can wear the wonderful lipsticks that I love with confidence. After that success, I decided to try, Micro-needling. I'm 62 and have some little lines and collagen loss. After just the 4th treatment everyone (all my friends say, I've turned back the clock 8-10 years) I'll take it!! Leading up to my 43rd birthday, my (9 years older) sister decided to point out the depth of my nasolabial and forehead creases. She's always been somewhat of a pain in my butt, but admittedly, she was right about this. I suppose at some point those creases were going to happen, with all the damn smiling and laughing I've done! Since my (annoying) sister really DOES look way younger than her years, I stopped giving her the stinkeye when she started telling me what she's been doing for herself. And the very next day, I made an appointment for my own free consultation with John at Laser Image Company. John was indeed everything my sister raved about - honest and warm, and VERY patient. (If you knew just how many questions my sister has about every single thing, you'd understand the enormity of this compliment). The biggest reason I liked him is that he exudes honor. I've heard nightmare stories of thousands of dollars of extra procedures that were pushed on friends at other places. The fact that John didn't upsell me on other procedures or products made me feel super safe to refer everyone I know. Based on my goals (just a little freshening up in the neck and cheeks area), John echoed my sister's recommendation that a cold laser treatment called Refirme would be the thing for me. Basically, Refirme heats your skin very slowly to create controlled damage of the dermal layer of skin. Since scar tissue is tighter, you get an IMMEDIATE tightening of the skin. Plus, it stimulates collagen production after it's done which slows down further wrinkling. It's the gift that keeps on giving! A week after my consult, I went in for my 30 minutes of face and neck (minus the eye area and forehead) Refirme. A very patient technician spread water soluble gel on my face, and then basically made ironing-out movements with the smooth tip of a laser. He talked to me the whole way though, making sure I wasn't uncomfortable. There were a few zingy areas, but not even REMOTELY close to the discomfort of the only other laser treatments I've ever done (hair removal). For a crazy low price of $450 (check out other places' pricing, and you'll understand how reasonable this is), I walked out of there with a tighter cheek, chin and neck area. Talk about instant gratification! And in the week following, I noticed that it got even tighter! Not like artificial-looking tighter, more like I was well-rested tighter. Exactly what I wanted! In the weeks following, I have told many of my massage and coaching clients about Refirme. As a life coach, I especially stress the importance of looking your best! So far, one of my clients has scheduled her eye area ($150 - SO REASONABLE!), a neighbor is going to get her whole face done ($450), and others have booked their consultations. They send out a newsletter every month, in which they list their specials. One of which is a free B-12 shot within 7 days of your birthday. I've never gotten one, but I'm thinking this particular Valentine baby is going to get one very soon : D. Refirme is one of the most amazing things I've ever heard of or experienced! You can get this procedure done on any body part, and it's best for loose skin (vs. heaviness). There's no surgery, no painkillers, no downtime, no post-procedure redness, nothing! But since I know how honorable John is, and how reasonable his prices are, I refuse to go to anyone else. Used a groupon for a Brazilian. The place is very easy to find. right look for the blue awning on the corner of Catalina in the Village right past Hennessey's . Parking was easy , but if you get there late and there are others having services you probably will have a hard time finding a place to park (they have two spots behind the shop). I went at 4pm on a weekday. Also if you go on weekend, count on circling the block or meter parking over in the TJ's parking lot. First and foremost I believe this place is a doctor's office. It is not set up as a spa, no relaxation area, place to change your clothes. You disrobe in the room you are having the service in . The room was very clean and good hygienic practices were used so no complaints there. They also are latex allergy friendly so just ask for non-latex. Jessica was friendly and engaging. The only thing I was disappointed is they do not use the blue hard wax. That always works better for me. She didn't give me a choice but said that its a concensus amongst her clientele that they didn't like to wait for the hard wax to dry. I wasn't in any hurry and because I have sensitive skin (natural strawberry blonde freckled WASP), less pulling, tugging and ripping means less pain and having less pain is worth the wait. Today my skin is still very sensitive and feels inflamed as if I had lifting. Jeans are not even an option. Never had that with use of the hard wax. So it might be nice if you give your clients a choice rather than because someone else doesn't want to wait .. make us all suffer the agony. Overall it was an OK experience, (more painful than usual because of the type of wax used. ) The only way I would return if they changed their policy to allow individual clients to choose how they want their service done according to THEIR INDIVIDUAL skin type.. after all this office appears to focus on skin and I wouldn't be left with the only alternative of wearing yoga pants to work today. read more

Adriana gave me an honest consultation regarding what I was asking for, and what it would cost. We decided on Jeuveau for my frown lines and the smile lines around my eyes. Plus we decided on 2-3 fillers around the cheekbones to provide a subtle lift to the folds that had formed around my mouth. I am happy with the results. The Jeuveau injections have given my eyes a more youthful look, and the frown lines have disappeared. The two cheek fillers did give my face a subtle lift, but I do think I will have the third filler on my follow-up appointment to enhance what has already been done. I called in and the receptionist was super helpful and informed me that they do spot treatment and booked me immediately for a consultation for the same day . I went in and met with nurse Vinnie . She is very kind , attentive and knows her stuff . I am a new member here and in love ! It only took my first visit/ experience to convince me! I am very skeptical young lady , after reading many reviews, checking out their website, etc...I decided why not give it a shot ! My mother in law recommended I go also ! Just call it Birthday Botox. Today was an interesting day. In addition to that, she put out the lure of wine. Well, that sealed the deal. At 5pm, I found myself at the Laser Image Company chatting it up with Karen. First I had a make over. Then I had a B-12 shot since I've been dragging lately and I have a wedding to do tomorrow. We sat and chatted about all the services this company offers. Their prices are actually much more reasonable than neighboring Manhattan Beach places. The next thing I knew, I was in an exam room getting numbed up for botox. That's right, BOTOX! I have to say, the wine helped loosen me up, as I certainly didn't wake up this morning thinking, "Gee, I need some botox." That said, I wish I could say it was a whim, but really, it wasn't. I've been curious about botox for a long time. So, when Karen offered me a discount for my upcoming birthday, I thought, "Why not?" So I did it. So, how was it? Well, first of all, I CAN move my face, my eyebrows and I can even scrunch my nose. Apparently, the botox takes 7-10 days to completely work. Secondly, yes, it hurt. Granted, the numbing gel wasn't on me for very long, but each injection felt like a bee sting. Not pleasant. Would I do it again? I don't know. I still don't know how I'll look (will update in 7-10 days). I'm not against doing it again, but I also don't know if I'll follow up in 3+ months. I will however, be back to the Laser Image Company for other services including their $99 special to zap the armpit and bikini areas. This is a great, little med spa that has a fantastic list of services and a communicative and knowledgeable staff. Before I had each service, I felt like I had all of the information at my fingertips including all of the possible side effects and benefits. They really made me feel relaxed and informed. *******Edited 8/14********* It's been 10-days since my botox. I should note, I only had injections with half the normal dosage since this was my first time. Here are the results: When I try to scrunch my forehead in any way, it feels almost numb. Yet, I can feel anything touching my forehead. Also, I don't look shocked or like a statue in any way. I can still move my eyebrows. For the most part, no one has been able to tell I've done anything. They just know I look good for some reason. The scrunch line I had near my eyebrows is gone. I had two deep lines on my forehead before the botox. The shallower of the two is almost non-existent. The deeper one is still there, but it is much less pronounced. Lucy Y. is all about freshening yourself up these days, so much so, that as a bye bye LA gift, she gave me a certificate for a face changing dermaplaning facial. I called and made my appointment with John and he talked to me like he knew everything about me. He probably did as Lucy has been here a few times and she's a chatter. I had what I thought was a lot of peach fuzz on my face. It's normal, I know, but I couldn't stand it. I considered laser hair removal but when I heard it wouldn't work on the peach fuzz I gave up. Que Lucy and her over chatty question asking self bc once her and John got to talking, John highly recommended a dermaplaning facial for me. I arrived and snagged a spot in one of their few parking spots on the side of the building (street meter parking is the other option). I walked in and was greeted by Danielle who turned out to be my Esthetician as well. After I filled out all my paperwork, Danielle showed me the way to her super cozy work area and explained everything to me about the dermaplaning facial process. Very detailed and answered all my questions. She asked what products I used at home so she could learn a little more about my skin and chose the products she was going to use from there. During the facial itself, she continued to keep me in the loop of her every move. She had my complete trust though from the start once she said she does the facial to herself every other month. The facial was a process of washes, exfoliaters, moisturizers, serums, and then the actual process of the removing of the peach fuzz and whatever else it removes with a razor. It was a very relaxing process, ever the gentle scrape of the razor was soothing. Danielle being super experienced, and extremely detailed had lots of tricks, and advice up her sleeve. My facial lasted for about an hour and when I was done and saw the immediate results, I couldn't believe it. My face was fuzz free and had a natural glow. It felt fresh and looked like fresh sun kissed skin. I am so sad that I hadn't done this long ago and just discovered Danielle the dermaplaning facial goddess as I am moving out of CA. Oh why does it have to be my last week in CA?! But, I will be sure to make an appointment again with Danielle every time I come home to visit. Thank you John, and Danielle for making me glow. CG was back in town and had a facial booked, so I decided to just tag along so we could spend as much time together on her short visit home. I got to chatting with John while CG was getting her dermaplaning facial and it turned out there was a spot free. They just ran a groupon so John gave me a good deal because it was my first time. Score! After meeting with aesthetician Danielle, and chatting about my skin, we decided that a hydrafacial would be a good option. It's a less invasive and a good alternative to microdermabrassion. Danielle was so great at explaining the process of the whole facial and always let me know her next move. Besides the results of course, the highlight was for sure the massage with the coconut-pomegranate enzyme cream. Wow I want to buy some of that. Hot towels after covered my face and I could have instantly knocked out. Mind you this was at the beginning of the facial. Danielle is a true expert. After I was done, my sun kissed face was glowing and was as soft as ever. A deal to treat myself is always a plus so a big thank you to John and Danielle. After seeing my friend nasal labial folds disappear, and cheeks lift up, I had to ask her what the heck she did- she went to the Laser Image Company for Refirme. Refirme is the most amazing, effective (and virtually painless) lifting procedure I've encountered, and they have the most refreshingly honest and skilled laser technicians I have met. I've tried quite a few non-invasive "lifting" options, and prior to Refirme I've been disappointed. I did my research beforehand, and found there is a lot of variety in effectivity with this treatment depending on the skill of the person doing the treatment, and factors like age and area. The laser technician and front desk were extremely honest with my right off that bat- "I want you to come back and be happy, I'm not going to give you false promises." And wow, he made no promises but the treated area (abs) looks tight and smooth already! I have some loose skin from a 50 lb weight loss I've had this year (yay for weight loss, boo for excess skin!), and the texture of my abdominals looked a bit clay-like or lumpy from the slight loose skin. Within literally an hour after treatment, I'm already seeing the lumpiness go away, and my whole stomach area looks tones and smooth! They were very very thorough, going over each area multiple times and checking my comfort level (I literally felt no pain but a slight warming sensation). Best of all, Laser Image Company does it all, so you're not stuck at some place that is trying to get you to sign up for the one machine they have- Laser Image Company has all the latest lasers and nob-invasive treatments, and everyone I spoke to there is quite frank on his opinion of all of them. Parking in this great area of Redondo Beach was actually quite easy, but I hear they have a lot with a few spots behind the business. This is a great little spot in a trendy beach area. They offered a $35 Groupon for the dermaplaning facial (normally $70), so I thought I'd give them a try. The dermaplaning was painless and only took about 30 minutes. I instantly saw a difference - no more peach fuzz or dry skin on the surface, and my face looked brighter. The aesthetician gave me a few tips about other treatments I might want to try, but she wasn't pushy and didn't make any suggestions that sounded unreasonable or pricey. I'll definitely be back.
