I have pre-paid oil and automatic deliveries - this year they decided not to deliver on the previous schedule and I"m about to run out of oil after calling repeatedly for the last week and always being assured that a deliver will be made... still no delivery. read more

Paraco is horrible. They took over for Amerigas.They would not put me on automatic billing and I have no gauge so I have run out of gas. There prices are high and they add fees for thinks like "dovetailing".In 2014,I was told that the position of my tanks was "unsafe" after them being just fine since 1998 when I bought the home.They insisted on moving the tanks parallel to each other and cutting the basement stove off.Recently, I ran out and I called and paid by credit card over the phone. The propane never arrived and when I finally called I was told that my air conditioner units were "unsafe"(they were where they have always been) and they must be removed.I am disabled and have asthma.I Had to pay a handyman to put the units in.My dayghters and I had to take the units out, only to have the man delivering the propane tell me to go ahead and put the units back in.Unbelievable!Then they insisted on sending a serviceman to survey the tanks and I got a letter from them stating that I need to remove the air conditioners again!.These people are horrible! read more

DO NOT EVEN CONSIDER THIS COMPANY. This company never set us up with a tank with a gauge so we could never figure out when we were getting low. Then the regulator broke because the tanks went dry and they delivered a new gas tank but then they locked off our gas because we weren't home. They refused to credit our account for the cost of the regulator which broke due to their fault. Go somewhere else for your propane read more

Switch to any other company. This organization is beyond bad. They are not going to be around much longer. I called yesterday, the number at corporate had a voice message that said I was entitled to a $100 retail rebate and I should press one to claim it or I could hang up.... WHAT? I decided on my third attempt to press one just to talk to someone, I started talking and they hung up on me. I tried three more times, never once used foul language nor was I rude, and they hung up every time. Finally I called again and was able to talk to a lady who could do nothing but tell me that I should call back in about an hour as they were having technical difficulty. They were closed an hour later. Most of the numbers on the internet are not answering or have a message that says the number has been disconnected. I did finally get to someone today and was told, that they will be picking up the tank that has been sitting on my property for over a month now, today.... Not sure why, but somehow I have my doubts... read more

Horrible customer service . Scamming company nickel and dining you for everything they can . I ran out of gas on a Friday did not get the gas until Tuesday .. They charged me $109.00 for a safety inspection because my tank was empty ?? I never heard of such a thing . Beware of this Company . read more

Do not do business with this company, trust me. I became a customer only because they bought Synergy Gas, which was great. They topped off my tanks every week. Paraco charges $100 for an automatic reader. Their customer service is the worst. I have called for service and spoke to 4 different people who say will call me back and never did. So I never got any service. read more

Stay away at all costs from this company. They are unresponsive and do not care that you may heat your whole house with gas during 0 degree weather. You almost never get a human without waiting on hold forever. I had less than 5% gas and going out of town but the BEST they could offer was a possible delivery in 3 days!! A plumber friend told me he has been repairing frozen pipes on houses that Paraco did not make timely deliveries. This company deserves a NEGATIVE 5 star rating. read more

I've been a customer of Audell/Bennet-Bay for thirty years. Recently Bay was acquired by Paraco. Almost always on auto-deliver. Found out that I was completely out of propane. Called the Paraco call center and was told someone would, "reach out" to me. That was at 10:30 am. I called again at 3 pm. Got the same spiel from the call center. Called back at 4 to see if I could just get my account # so I could find some answers on line. Same line of bs and was then told it would be 1-2 business days until someone would get back in touch. That's just to talk to someone in "customer service" to find out why all this is happening. PETRO is coming by Sat to give me an estimate. I'll probably be telling Paraco to pick up their tank. I'm not counting on them returning my call any time soon. read more

Worst company ever! The office staff is rude and they came and took my tank away with no notice. I did not owe them any money and the action was unprovoked. The only thing good is that now I get to use an honest propane company. This company is unprofessional and dishonest. Stay away from them! I wish I could give them a zero rating! read more

Not worth one star. How I miss Bay Gas. Took 3 weeks for a driver to deliver my propane gas, after numerous calls to their customer service, managers and voicemail to regional manager. No one that took the order was able to take a payment, they said they were not authorized. Then the driver showed up with the wrong size cylinder twice. Spoke to numerous managers with no help. Poorly knowledgeable customer service representative. No training whatsoever. I have a two cylinder system, which Paraco took one of the empty cylinders and replaced it with one that doesn't fit under the metal hood. They literally forced the metal cover over the top of their larger cylinder. Finally, after many weeks, one manager told me that I have to replace the two cylinders to a one-tank system, because they don't provide the same service that Bay Gas did. Would have been nice to hear that before. With such an unreliable service, delivery issues and poor customer service, who wants to use them. They don't care about Bay Gas customers and the service that was provided to them. read more

The most arrogant and greedy company I've ever dealt with. After getting gas deliveries for over 20 years from small companies, my account was sold to them. Suddenly my cost for gas doubled, then they added a maintenance charge (or as I call it an extortion charge). Now after almost 8 years they refused to deliver gas because an air conditioner was 9' away from the tanks. The same AC unit that's been there every previous year they had delivered. Seems to me they just don't want me as a customer because my gas consumption isn't enough for them. This is the problem when large companies suck up all the small competition. Well looks like I'll be getting an electric stove soon. Can't give Zero Stars but that's my rating read more

Do NOT use this company. They rip you off and their customer service is the worst I have ever seen. Spent three weeks waiting for a refund that only came after I got very angry! Transferred and hung up on many times after they came to my new home and tried to rip me off for bogus safety violations. Do yourself a HUGE favor and steer clear of this sub-par company. I have been a customer of this company for almost 25 years I was past the ten day pay grace period for my delivery I called customer service and made a payment over phone about a month later I never got my. Auto delivery ran out they informed me I had to pay COD because they didn't get my last payment I disagreed told them to look up the call and payment info from the date I called they did find it payment was not charged to my account I paid balance and new delivery payment that day 4 months later I'm out of gas almost again called asked why delivery did not come they said I'm on COD explained all above again they then tell me they will send me a form to fill out for auto delivery after 25 years this customer that has been a faithful customer will be leaving company when tank is empty my daughter just bought a new home she was going with paraco not any more they don't deserve new customers if your looking for a gas company I advise you not to use paraco read more

I was with Kosco for 20 years. Then Paraco bought them out and I watched the incompetence and unfair business practices balloon out of control. Hidden charges and fees, being overcharged, constantly having to call to get serviced, incorrect addresses, failing to fix billing issues without calling over and over... Eventually their customer service got so bad that you couldn't even get someone to answer the phone. I would leave a message and half the time they never even called back, and when they did it was more than a day later. Eventually I ran out of gas, even though I was on automatic delivery, and when I couldn't reach them on the phone I finally called another company and switched. Eventually I was able to get in touch with Paraco to terminate my service, which I did. When they finally came to pick up my tanks, they didn't call first (even though they said they would) and they charged me $100 to pick up THEIR tanks! I guess I'll have to call again to fight that charge as well... I wonder if anyone will answer the phone this time? read more

Terrible company.i was with Amerigas and end up with this.They "recharged" my tanks with 13 gallons of propane for 95$(a barbeque tank is 15 gallons and is 20$!!) and because they have drivers who don't ring if they don't see car in driveway(my car sits in garage!) they charged 50$ because they cannot deliver!!(my gates are locked because house was burglarized once)They delivered on 3/29 and on 3/31 another truck showed up for delivery!?? As sooner I empty my tanks I finish with this company and I will install a barbeque tank and will be much cheaper than with these clowns! read more

Paraco Gas is a dangerous company to be served by ! I had been a customer of Synergy for years until they were acquired by Paraco. When Paraco took over they told me my tank needed to be replaced which they did. They placed the tank less then 7' from my airconditioning units which had been there for at least 10 years. Then they told me I had to rent the equipment which I paid for at an annual rate of approx. $92 dollars per year . When my tank ran out this week (I am on automatic delivery) they informed me that there was a "code violation" and therefore they could not refill my tank. On further investigation I was informed they sent me a letter to this effect in 2016 ( which I can assure you that if received because I would have acted on it immediately )with no further follow-up and I continued to use this tank unaware of the danger associated with it's close proximity to my air-conditioning units which were there well before the time they replaced the tank. Additionally when I attempted contact with them to rectify the problem they put me on hold for at least 15 minute s and an additional 10 minutes the second time. While waiting for a response I went on line and found a company 5 minutes from my home with 24/7 service and response, no rental fees and and a propane gas rate 1.50 per gal. cheaper ! How is it that Paraco remains in business with the negligence, irresponsibility, and excessive charges ! Their judgements and lack of follow-up put me in grave danger for 2 years and their response is "we are sorry for this error and someone will get back to you tommorrow". Thank God I ran out before there was a disaster because for 2 years I've been living with a time bomb each summer when my air-conditioning is in use. ! Needless to say, with their track record and previous business practices I am not holding my breath for a follow up phone call !! I am being proactive at this point and going with the other company. My suggestion to anyone with or considering going with Paraco , "Seek out a cheaper and more responsible company" !!! read more

do not use this rip-off-price gouging-rude customer service company....i was charged $5.34 per gallon for propane!!....in shopping other companies the pricing ranged between $2.40-$2.74 per gallon....how can people continue to use a company that clearly does not follow the energy information administration guidelines and takes advantage of it's customers!! don't even bother calling to speak intelligent to their customer service team....they act like their doing you the favor by being their company...disgraceful!! read more
