While friendly and sympathetic on the phone, I have had no heat for more than two full weeks kicked off by the fact they they were late on a refill. No sense of urgency. The empty line contributed to a larger failure. No matter how many times I call, I get essentially no communication from their management team unless I call them first. And, no matter how many times I reaffirm that they have my phone number. I have been running space heaters to avert a major disaster. They ordered the wrong part number and I have still not heard what happened or how they intend to repair it or timing. I am so disappointed. My home is at risk and I feel so unsupported. First off we never heard a word from them and our gas tank that was piped into the house was so light we could lift it off the ground thats how empty it was. Were they just waiting for us to run out? More importantly, they put me and my family in danger by deciding - without informing me - that they weren't going to refill my gas tank (even though it's regularly scheduled) because my current tank needed to be replaced, by them! I think the problem is they aren't a customer service style company. That is probably related to 2 reasons, 1. They are growing fast with acquisitions and the staff is very new to customer service industry. 2. They are financially strapped making capital tight and that will slow things down. I am a new customer, and it has been chaotic for starters and i feel customer service is at a loss. The customer service people have no real answers and that is due to lack of training. The personnel have no real authority to make any decisions and that is a lack of leadership. At this point I am stuck with my decision due to there are no better alternatives, i have found in my area all gas company are poorly ran. Paraco customer beware if you are out of propane they charge you a $149 fee to check their own equipment. I was told this is standard in the industry - simply not true. Called two other companies and they both had no such fees! One told me that it's at most a three minute check and all they do is spray a soapy solution to the top of the tank to check for leaks and that that should be standard with any delivery. I was also told that I should observe the color of the flame as I cook to know I was low on propane but how about if I'm color blind how does that help! And also since it is their equipment shouldn't they check the system at least annually to insure the safety since propane is flammable! read more

We had a broken gauge on our gas tank, and it took me scheduling an appointment three different times, and *many* different stories about which equipment they'd need to fix it, how low the tank had to be, etc., to actually get the job done, that we were pulling our hair out by the end. I bought a house and Paraco was the previous supplier. Fast forward to this past Friday, and my gas was turned off, Paraco had come by and locked my tank. No note, nothing in the mailbox, nothing. When I called to have someone come back and set it up, they said it couldn't be done for a few days since I wasn't customer - well I'm looking at your tank in my back yard, do you want that back or no? So I called Liberty Gas who came by in a few hours, set me up with a new tank and I'm on my way with a new company and better service. read more

Today is 8-6-19 the day I canceled my service with this incompetent company. I wish I could give zero stars. How they are still in business is beyond me. I wish I would of listened to all the warnings & bad reviews from everyone. They tell you their rates are the "going" rates. It is a lie. Do your homework, I learned the hard way. They want to charge me $6.35 a gallon. Plus a yearly rental/maintenance fee of $95 to use their tank. Call other companies. 1. Most others do not charge you a rental fee for their tanks. 2. Most other companies are way cheaper per gallon. The first two companies I called were cheaper by 50cents to a dollar per gallon. What put my over the top to leave them was they charged me three different times in a 24 hour period. I asked them to please cancel all the charges for a total over $1,100. Which then puts a hold on my checking account for $1,100 for 3-5 business days. I then called my bank regarding the charges. My bank said all you need to do is have PARACO Gas send them a fax stating they canceled the charges. Then I would get my money back "today". Well Paraco told me that they will not fax my bank the letter and that I have to wait the 3-5 business days to get my $1,100 that they wrongfully charged. He said we don't have a company letterhead to fax a letter. He said I did what I had to do and canceled the charges for you. His name was Brian ID# 3758 a customer service representative. Will charge a lot of money and miss every possible deadline. They are truly the worst and on top of all they're pretty racist too. Stay far away to avoid headaches. This company has been overcharging me for years. I tried to get a gas monitor placed on my tanks and they never came. When I complained they said they used the fee I sent them to reduce one of my bills without telling me. They charged me $4.80 a gallon when the state said the average price was under $3.00. read more
