The wait is at least 1-2 hours. The crowd is questionable. They did have a timed entry and reservation system but they recently changed it to first come first serve. They reach capacity quick like legit asap. I like that they don't overcrowd it but now you have to be first in line when they open to even get in. read more

The pool is clean, prices are reasonable, and lifeguards are very attentive. We had an excellent day!

Picture outside of Paradise Island from the picnic area. With all things considering (still running on block schedule from last year) it's kind of one of those things you get what you pay for. So if you get here late in one of the block times, you can't stay late into the next one. You would have to exit and repay to enter. There is no exception. They also do have a splash pad to the side of the water park that is free though (not open all year around). I have been to several water parks here in Colorado and Paradice island is one of my favorites. My child is only three, so paradise island is the perfect size! It allows him maximum fun without the overwhelming amount of people. My child was free and it only cost 4$ for my entry. The establishment does have time blocks which allows you 3 hours to swim, but the price is incomparable when you think of other water parks (such as Elitch Gardens or Water World.) I recommend for families with small children. read more

So many good things to say about this water park! And a few very important negatives that I address at the end of my review!! 1. Great prices for non members/residents! $6 for Malia and $10 for me! Not bad at all for the TRUE water park experience you will get here! 2. Amazing pools and splash areas for the kids! Multiple slides and the pool itself if 3ft so the kids have an adequate amount of water to play in! The water features and climbing structures will keep your kids entertained for hours and hours! 3. Fantastic and BIG lazy river! At 3.5ft it's perfect for the whole family! Tubes or no tubes it's so fun! 4. 3 huge water slides, one of them being a speed slide! So fun and the lines are never super long! You could ride them over and over all day! Great for bigger kids and adults but Malia is 7 and also enjoyed going down the slide with her dad! She was safe and sound and had a blast! 5. Amazing concession stand with yummy treats! Nothing healthy but if you're gonna indulge you can do that here at a great price! Nothing over 5$ on the menu! Most of what I saw was $3.50! They had hot dogs, cheese fries, nachos, drinks, ice creams.... they had it all! The only reason this place didn't get 5 stars is because of the LIMITED seating and even more limited SHADED seating! You can pay for the shaded Cabana area but it's expensive for the day!!! ALSO I noticed the seating area around the kids play are with the largest amount of OPEN seating was DISGUSTINGLY TRASHED with wrappers and food garbage by 4pm and none of the employees were cleaning up the mess, my guess is they waited until the end of day. The lack of sanitation there was really disappointing and off putting! Something NEEDS to be done to maintain the hygiene of the park on a constant basis throughout the day! This is how we spread disease! Do better in that regard and maybe after a few visits we might change this review to a 5 star rating! read more

Reasonably priced moderately convenient! Kids enjoy having this option besides just the recreation center!

My daughter and I love this place. Get there early to get the good spots and shade tables. Only down side is when schools are allowed to come in by the bus load. That really sucks. Wish they would post that before paying to get in. I would avoid those days. No one wants to be there with a school. No one. So 4 Stars only but it's worth the $ for the cabana or just general admission. Especially for residents. Affordable fun. The Co session stand could you some food help. If I could give no starts I most definitely would. If you bring your children here and your not planning on swimming they will charge you a $10.00 fee just to enter the gate. I went back and ask for a manger and was given a refund for my portion of $10.00 and was not allowed back in to watch my kids. She then ask who's watching them... really if it mattered to you then you wouldn't charge an adult who's not swimming. Thank God my sisters were there to watch them. I end sitting in my car for few hours starring at a wall. The prices are also not up to date on there website and it is was more then expected. They dont do refunds just so your aware so I'm lucky I got one for that. They do weather passes and that's it but your lucky if they close the pool they make you sit out for 1 hour till lightning stops so you loose alot of time. If all this was at the gate I can imagine how its ran once inside. I wont ever go back there. theres to many other places in Colorado even my rec center let's me go in to watch my children. Paradice Island Pool - The Stupid entrance - Community Centers Near Me - Commerce City, Colorado

Yesterday was my second time to go, I had a great experience last year and decided to rent a cabana and throw my son a birthday party, the staff was very nice to me and all my guest. We enjoyed our party. The only down compre to last year was, they kept doing their safety drills and they where forever drills. For me and my guest just seamed that they where getting together just to chit chat. (All teens) it was a horrible wait, it didint happen last year. At least not as much and not for too long. Another thing I hated was that at not one time did I ever see the splashers go on. At the lazy pool.... another bummer was that they shut down the slides and all it's splashing at the main pool where kids liked to slide.... that was very disappointing. I use to say this place was expensive to what it offers today I stand with that and still believe it's very expensive to what it offers, has three stars because staff was friendly and place is very clean. read more
