After seeing how she perfectly captured the…read moreanatomy of butterflies and month, I felt confident that she would be able do the same for beetles. After submitting the online inquiry form and messaging Sunny, I quickly received a response and an estimated cost. To my surprise, she has always wanted do beetle tattoos and was excited to work with me. Since it was my first tattoo, I was nervous and didn't know what to expect. However, Sunny's friendliness and the store's calming ambiance made me feel reassured and surprisingly comfortable. From reference pictures to stenciling, Sunny walked me through each step and ensure all the details of the darkling beetles were included. Furthermore, before the initial outlining, other artists in the store were asked to double check the stencil (flow, composition, etc). 3 hours quickly passed and I got my first 3 beetle tattoos done on my forearm. It didn't hurt too bad because I was enjoying the nerdy beetle conversation with Sunny. After the tattoos were wrapped up, Sunny gave me a run down on the after-care routine and what to expect during the healing process. In the end, I am so glad that I went to Sunny from My Tattoo for the beetle tattoos. This is why I am having Sunny finishing a full beetle sleeve on my left arm.

Okay so this is probably by far THE coolest/nicest 'tattoo shop", and i quote the word tattoo shop because this tattoo business is next level elite. If you are looking for a one-of-a-kind tattoo experience, this place is it. Every artist that works there is so talented and a majority of them work based off appointment only which goes to show how busy and well-established they are. I was really impressed with the cleanliness of the place and how each artist had their own designated room for their appointment. It's nice not being jam packed in an open bay setting and overhearing personal, private conversations of other clients. Mikey, my artist, was so personable and took the time to make sure I loved the artwork before I got tattooed. He has over 15+ years of experience and his work truly shows for it! If you're trying to find a high quality tattoo shop that has artists for every style, look no further. I got ahold of Mikey on instagram with just a general idea of what I was looking for in a Japanese leg sleeve and all I gave him to go on was koi, water, and flowers with the rest being completely up to him. He incorporated his ideas and my own into the piece the entire time and as you can see, it came out great. Definitely a shop you can trust to put out good work 100% of the time. She really took the time to listen to my ideas about adding to my current tattoo as a tribute to my daughter, who passed away unexpectedly a year and a half ago. What I went off of per screenshots below, was that You said you would send something over before our appointment, and you did not until I kept asking for it. If you had said you didn't feel comfortable sending a draft beforehand, I wouldn't have committed. Every tattoo artist I've spoken with after said you lacked professionalism and shouldn't have promised me a mock up if you weren't going to do it. Lastly, please stop bringing up my daughter's story to justify your actions. How dare you disrespect us and my ask a year ago and a year later now, for such an important piece and have the audacity to come at me like I was in the wrong for expecting professionalism and execution and was treated with lack of integrity and honesty. I let you refund the half of my deposit because my sister in law didn't make it and that was integrity on my part for your crappy service. We wouldn't have booked you altogether had we known you didn't keep your words! You can keep changing your comment to defend your story but I have the screenshots as proof of your lack of professionalism. I am not the one who keeps messaging - clearly a year later you're still bothered and wasting both our times. I pray this is the last time I need to hear from you for both our growth and peace. May we both learn and move on.
