That said, after a series of ineffective visits to a chiropractor and physical therapist, a recommendation was made for a pain management specialist. Enter Dr. Wynn. After an initial visit, i was scheduled for an out-patient treatment and I can say this: The man knows his sh*t. I was concerned that that day, when I still felt a degree of discomfort after he injected the affected area with a cortisol steroid, the pain would be lessened but not completely eradicated. But by the next day, I felt great. It's amazing how much persistent pain can affect everything in your life. And the staff there is great, too. They are all young and bubbly and patient and friendly. And they really seem to like working there. SO, IT IS TRULY A SHAME THAT THE "FACE" OF THEIR PRACTICE IS THE INCORRIGIBLE NURSE PRACTITIONER CHEN, AN INVETERATE LIAR. The first time I met her, she told me about the dangers of opioid treatment for pain management. I explained to her that it's a moot point because I take naltrexone (which is an opioid blocker), so we agreed that steroids would have to do. But when I returned, I encountered a much different NP Chen. First, I was told that they couldn't see me because Dr. Wynn was not available. She insisted that they called me to let me know so I wouldn't have to travel down to them (on public transportation, no less), but I played my VM's from the day before and, NOPE, they never left a message. Then NP Chen told me she was going to send over a prescription for Tramadol (an opioid) to my pharmacy. I recall thinking: that's weird. I told them I can't take opioids. But when I called back later that day to say that my pharmacy had not received the prescription, NP CHEN SAID SHE NEVER TOLD ME SHE'D PRESCRIBED ME THE DRUG. I called her out on it but she insists that that never happened. And I, not being a shrinking violet, told her I didn't care about the Tramadol but that I wanted her to take ownership of her lie. The conversation quickly devolved into a shouting match before the line went dead. (They did call back to say the line was lost, but who knows?) I will go back because, as I've said, Dr. Wynn and his staff are amazing. But, Holy Bat Fake, that nurse practitioner lies.

MY experience might not be like YOUR experience and totally understand that. This is my own account of the experiences and interactions I have had with this office and the Doctor herself and after I have seen the reviews on yelp I thought it was unfair to this doctor to give a bad review when in all my experience has been nothing but good. I'm in 40's and before the laser treatments my skin was somewhat dull and uneven color, some pigmentation in my forehead, some pores I considered large around my nose but and now the results have been nothing but exceptional. I was referred to her office by one of my coworkers and was at a time when I was contemplating the idea of having a chemical peel done at home after seeing unevenness and hyperpigmentation at my face. I could see and tell my coworker "had something or was doing something done to his face " and changed my mind about buying the chemical peel at amazon and decided to make an appointment at her office. Her staff is very nice, warm and welcoming; addressing me by my name; not the name they think I could be or should be called like. I'm half Japanese and Half Latina and wanted someone that could understand and target the areas I was concerned with ( syringoma, hyperpigmentation, uneven skin tone ). She has; no doubt about that. I just wrapped my 4th session with Doctor Tamoria and I have been nothing but happy with the results. Results are louder than complain that the office this, the office that, blah blah; stuff. Dr. Tamoria has been very personable to ME. Yes, I have waited more than I should but the way I see it is that the " patient needs to be patient". Having to find parking is also a pain but that's not the issue here, The main issue for her to fix your skin and for one to do one's homework and follow up her directions by the book and YES; It has worked for ME and my results are quite visible now and my proof are the pictures I would like to attach to this review. ( and I'm not even done with the treatment; YET ) Laser resurfacing is an expensive procedure and you actually need whatever skin care products she's recommending. The one benefiting from using the products is ultimately " YOU ". It's not a cheap system but " HELLO !!! " you need to protect your investment by investing in a maintenance kit. One can always decline the offer and not get it but then you'd be gambling with the treatment itself. The reality of the matter the skin care system that she recommends is not and does not come cheap; that's the actual price for it. One's got to do a lot of things to make one's skin glowy and luminous and you don't want to take it back to the sun and continue your old ways to just start all over. My pics speak for themselves. Because I didn't have vaccination records so they showed me where to go get those for free. That saved me a lot of money. I had to pay $125 in total which is super cheap compared to somes places I checked (usually minimum $200 to $350). They also have all paper done for you. The office was old. Service was ok.
