I've actually been receiving massages for over 10 years, and I can confidently say this place is a keeper. The prenatal massage I received was professional, comforting, and exactly what I needed. Pregnancy brings so many aches -- especially in the calves, arms, shoulders, lower back, and hips -- and my therapist made sure to focus on all the areas that needed the most attention. I had airón my right heel about 7 mos ago and I told her about it before we began the massage. A few minutes into the massage, she applied waaaaaay too much pressure to my foot. So much so that I had to pull away from her. She said she forgot about my wound and apologized. I wasn't hurting too bad, so I let it slide. 2. Also prior to beginning the massage I specifically asked her to stretch my hip flexor on my left leg (over compensation from surgery on other foot). Ask me how much time she put toward what I specifically went in for...0 minutes! I speak 3 languages, just not hers. The least this place can do is invest in a translation app for all of their non-English speaking techs. When it came to the Paying he was asking for more "Tips" by pointing to a big sign on the cashier counter "Tips". Also they encourage or ask for cash instead of card bcs it's easy for them undercut the customer so they wouldn't be liable for any damages they caused. Therefore always use a card to pay and even for tips. We will always chose small business whenever we can but when people try to take advantage of us we try not to ever visit them again.
