I had a bad experience with this company it cost me a days work. I was threatened twice by an attorney to remove my previous statement on here. I would not personally recommend this place to anyone. They sell "B" grade appliances they purchase through manufacturers according to the attorney that sent me multiple demand letters to remove my statement. A "B grade item may have been previously sold and installed but was never used". In my personal opinion why would someone go through all the effort to bring an appliance into their house and install it but not use it? That makes no sense especially when the item I purchased was defective and did not work from day one! As a customer I also question how do you verify the item was never used in a private individuals home? I have confirmation from whirlpool the item was previously sold at another location 2 weeks shy of a year from the date I purchased it. Which makes the factory warranty valid for only 2 weeks. I contacted Sarah immediately after I discovered the length of the remaining warranty she assured me the item still had a year warranty I never received any confirmation of such a warranty from whirlpool. Yes since I returned the dryer you "reset the warranty" but that does me no good. You had options to help me before I returned the item Sarah declined to help me. I would have gladly kept the item if I was provided proof of a manufacturers 1 year warranty I was promised. I asked Sarah to purchase a $40 warranty to add an additional year through whirlpool which she declined. At that point I decided to return the item which you accepted. by Arizona law you can return an item to a business within 72 hours. It took a negative review to get any action from you after the item was returned. I would think the items on your sales floor should be tested for functionality as the B grade description you sent me says "fully functional with cosmetic flaws". Yes you offered me a new unit at a "discounted price" which I purchased at another business for less than your discounted price. Thanks for the phone call yesterday attempting to pay me to remove my legitimate review. I would think as any business operates a item returned for color or buyers remorse would have been put right back into inventory of the same business not shipped back to the manufacturer it is not cost effective to send every return back to the manufacturer. I went to Paradise Appliances to purchase a full kitchen set in August . The fridge was an open box item, the rest was going to come directly from Whirlpool. When I got the delivery on August 13 the fridge wasn't working, the stove is damaged, I never got my microwave and the dishwasher doesn't work on Heated Dry. The fridge was in the store and easily could have been tested before delivery. That is something you would think a business owner would do. Paradise received my appliances in their warehouse before delivery and should have inspected all appliances before delivery. You would think that a small business like Paradise Appliances would do that. It's not like they have customers lining up outside and are to busy to do that. When I advised Paradise Appliances that the fridge was not working on a Saturday Annemarie, the owner of the store told me to contact her on Sunday morning. When I contacted her on Sunday morning she told me the store is closed and to call the office on Monday. Some customer service!! First I was told that I will get a full refund for my fridge; then I was told that I will not be refunded the full amount. I advised the owner that the other pieces are also damaged. Annemarie refused to do anything about that and to this day I still do not have my refund from my fridge. I have asked for the other pieces to be serviced with no response to this day on that. I was told I have a warranty and if I have a problem I will have a service person within 24 hours. I can tell you its been longer then that and I am still waiting. The delivery companies scratched and damaged my walls and my sprinkler system in my house. When I told the owner about it she did not offer to fix it or compensate me for any damages. Please STAY AWAY!!!! Do not let yourself be fooled by low prices. Go anywhere else and ask for price matching and do your homework. If I would have done that I would have saved myself a lot of headache and I would have saved money. I have proof of all of this, I have pictures and documented text messages with owner. I never did a review before for any company, but I think I need to here. I got ripped off by this company. Please do not let yourselves be ripped off too. read more

I wanted to give this place 5 stars since the transaction with the refrigerator we purchased was flawless but this time around wasn't so good. First off, the owner showed up 20 minutes late on a Saturday. Ok, it happens.. After about 15 minutes, we decided on a dishwasher and were ready for the check out process but the internet wasn't working so we are forced to wait longer until it's fixed. Again, I understand this happens. The most irritating part of this whole experience is that the sales woman didn't even put in the order for it to be installed! Waited all day on Sunday and into Monday for a phone call from their third party installers. I finally was fed up and called to ask what is going on. I was told my order was never given to the installers. I took a day off of WORK waiting and waiting. Completely ridiculous and just lazy on her part. I do love this store as you can find great deals but I'm really unhappy with the way this happened. Best part, no one even called to tell me they were on their way for installation... surprise! read more

I think rating a business that you have never dealt with is in poor taste. I found Paradise Appliance on Craigslist when searching for high end kitchen appliances for a custom home I am building. Thought the prices were too good to be true and went down to look at what they had advertised. Everything I looked at in their shop was exactly as advertised. I purchased a viking cooktop and viking double wall oven and was able to pick them both up for the cost of the cooktop new at other appliances retailers. I know this because I shopped the heck out it. What I purchased came with a warranty agreement as well. So thank you Annemarie for your help and being so thorough when I would contact you with questions. I am not associated with them and made the purchase in September 2015. read more

We were able to purchase a brand new dishwasher for the same price as one on Craig's List and it was so much more convenient. We had a very pleasant experience. The shopping process was quick and easy. Found Paradise on the internet and Yelped them. After reading the reviews I decided to call to confirm the microwave was still available and it's condition. The item just said open box. When the young lady answered I asked if she was Sarah as others noted in their reviews, it was. Sarah answered my questions and agreed to hold the Microwavr until I got there, it's a 60 mile drive. The store is clean and organized. It was a quick transaction and very happy with my purchase. On top of it all I got 10^ off for Thanksgiving special, bonus. Next time I'm in need of another appliance, paradise will be the first place I check. Look online to see if they have what you Are looking for. The prices were good here and sales people knowledgeable, but don't believe them when they say you can get delivered the day you want with one days notice. We gave them over a week's notice of date of delivery as it was to be coordinated with a door being installed that would allow the refrigerator to be installed (we live in a park model - small doors.) The day came and we received a call that it would be delivered between 6:00 and 10:00 that night which is not possible as we live in a gated RV park that does not allow outsiders after 7:00 p.m. We paid $125 for the delivery and specifically purchased here due to their promise. We asked that they request the delivery in the a.m. and were told they had no control over the delivery; again asked that they just "request." They did nothing as the delivery people said we had "no instruction" other than to deliver; delivery people were very helpful and agreed to deliver the next day; said Paradise Appliances told them they had called and cleared with us a different delivery date - we did not hear from them - we did hear after posting and they adjusted the sale, making it more palatable. read more

I purchased my first product from Paradise yesterday. I was very happy with the value offered by this retailer. I did have some trouble with the unit that I purchased and frankly, I was disappointed with the initial response that I received from an employee when I called to report the problems (just minutes before the store was scheduled to close). However, when the owner of the business learned of my plight, he called me and agreed to reopen the store last night to give me a replacement unit. He even through in some additional items to offset the inconvenience that I had experienced. In the end, I was blown-away by the great way that I was treated and I am sure that I will be a regular customer of Paradise Appliances from now on. You cannot get this kind of service from a big box retailer; which is why I always prefer to deal with locally owned business like this gem. read more

I went there on Friday, 11/23/18, to look for a new stove (and not one that cost an arm and a leg). I found a new LG stainless steel gas stove (6.0 cubic feet) with a small scratch on the right hand side (which is the side on which it will butt up to my counter), for under $700. The Sears outlet store 5 miles down the road wanted $1100 for pretty much the exact same stove. So I figured I'd look at the dishwashers since mine hasn't worked in 9 years. Found a new Frigidaire for about $320 with a small scratch on the bottom - stainless steel with a stainless steel tub (the stainless steel with a stury plastic tub was only 300). Needless to say, I bought both and couldn't be more pleased. Was in and out in 30 minutes. Sara was the salesperson who helped me, even when I was going back and forth over which stove to settle on. She was a sweetheart -nice, friendly, not pushy. I'll definitely recommend Paradise and more importantly, Sara, to any and everyone. read more

Absoultely great appliance store. Sarah was amazing and really helped guide me through the proccess with as little stress as possible. I must have went to 20 different appliance places all the way up to the big companies, and Paradise was by far the best pricing by hundreds of dollars. Originally was just going to buy a fridge but after such a great experience and with such great prices I went ahead and purchased a microwave and dishwasher as well. My appliances have been wonderful, and when the time comes I will be back for the rest of my appliance needs. IE. my washer and dryer which will probably be going out soon. The only reason I gave them 4 stars is because the company they subcontract (as I was explained) to deliver, did an awful job with installing my dishwasher. It was put in crooked, unbalanced and they tore up the underneath of my counter top, screwing it in right at the lip instead of being pushed back all the way. They also did not install the microwave saying it would require an additional $100 to [cut into the tile] on top of the $240 I already payed for the install of 3 purchased appliances. I stupidly agreed to it, and then they didn't show up for the install (I missed a full day of work for). When I called to try and clear up the issue the installer was rude and said I would have to reschedule and wait a week. I asked for a refund for some of the installation cost and in the end was only given back the extra $100 for the "tile cutting" he said I needed. In the end I payed the delivery company $240 to plug in my new fridge and take away the old, and ruin the underneath of my counter where the dishwasher goes. Then I hired my own company to reinstall the dishwasher correctly, and to install the microwave which never was installed and didn't need the tile to be cut for $150. So again in summation Paradise Appliance and specifically Sarah are amazing, but HIRE YOUR OWN install and delivery company the one they use is horrible or at least the installer I had that day, who I was told runs the delivery company and goes by the name of Jeremy. DON'T let Jeremy install your appliances!!!! read more

I have with amazement read some of the most ridiculous unbelievably negative comments aimed at Louie of Paradise appliances and in my opinion they are nothing but a fabrication of someone's strange imagination or even a deliberate ploy to try and harm this upstanding small business's reputation by spreading fake accusations and lies. My family has been purchasing appliances from Paradise for a long time and never an issue. In fact we find Louie and his staff to be the most cordial and helpful. Totally unlike other appliance stores with their high pressure bait and switch sales people. You walk in the door at Paradise and you know right off what the deal is from the start. There is an open bright show room loaded with appliances to check out with prices clearly marked. They don't follow you around or try to influence you in any way. Come to your own conclusions of course and even shop around if you choose but if you want a fair deal and great savings on name brands check Paradise out.
