Broad selection of products and brands with excellent service. We worked with one of their staff throughout our selection process, to determine just the right luggage for our needs. We had a newer, barely used Briggs & Riley roller board suitcase stolen at D I A, with everything in it including toilet kits and travel containers for personal care products. We left the store with everything we needed for our next trip and smiling. That kind of service and selection is non-existent in big dept. and big box stores where sales associates have limited knowledge and brand offerings are limited at best. We'll be back to Paradise for all of our luggage and travel products. Another huge advantage is their in-store repair service. You just can't find that anymore. read more

After carrying a brand new Monos hardside piece of luggage only once, a corner was creased by the baggage handlers on a flight with United. After filing a claim with United, I took my case to Paradise Baggage to see if a repair was possible. Unfortunately, there was no fix for this bag. Mike and Dave were wonderful. Because of their relationship with United, they were able to obtain an excellent reimbursement for me from United within 24 hours. I went home with a brand new Travelpro softside case at no extra cost. What a deal! (Alternatively, had I not filed a claim with the airline, they were going to offer me a used loaner bag in excellent condition in exchange for my damaged one). Wow! Either way, I was going to walk out pleased. Buying from a local reputable shop certainly eliminates the hassle of returns or repairs compared to the online experience. Samsonite warranty - if you are planning to come here for a Samsonite warranty claim, you should know that they don't do any warranty repairs at no charge unless it is within one year. You must provide a receipt; otherwise, you'll be charged for the repair. I was informed of the small print and that it only covers defects. To fix a wheel, it would cost half of what I paid for the suitcase. The wheel of the suitcase had issues the first time I used it, but I figured with a 10 year warranty claim, I didn't have to rush to bring it in. Nope. call before you go for a warranty claim. read more

Krystal and Dave are professionals in the baggage industry with years of knowledge and expertise. It beats my hours of online research for sure. I've owned multiple carry on suitcases from Costco, Delsy, TravelPro, Samsonite, Eagle Creek with price ranging around $200. They were ok but I never felt comfortable with any of them. When I'm on the road in some third world country rolling on cobblestone to get to my Airbnb, my luggage is basically my house, so being comfortable with your house is mentally important. I like that Paradise baggage will credit you $50 towards a new suitcase if you bring in your old suitcase and they donate it to local charities for the homeless. Initially the lifetime warranty of Briggs and Riley lead me to this place. I purchased a $600 Briggs & Riley Carry-On spinner (4wheels) with compression panels that can expand the capacity from 35 to 46 liters! That's a lot of real estate on the go. But after bringing it home I realized the front two wheels are SMALLER than the back two wheels, this major design flaw tilts and falls forward especially when you add weight on top. After a few days, I wanted a hard shell carry on instead so I came back and exchanged my Briggs & Riley unused for a Rimowa Hybrid Cabin which retails for $850. If you want the flagship Rimowa splurge for the Original Cabin $1150 with aluminum casing. The capacity is 37 liters and it does not expand but most international airlines have strict weight limits now so I actually prefer not expanding to keep me from buying useless souvenirs. Rimowa has a 5 year warranty but if you put the B&R and Rimowa side by side, you will see that the Rimowa wheel system and telescopic handle (more height level adjustment designed for short and tall people) is far superior than B&R. Plus having a hard shell top and equal size wheels will prevent it from tilting forward. Obviously this is only my initial opinion, will report back to write an update review. read more

OK people, now is the time to rally! This is a wonderful small business in Englewood that is severely struggling because of Covid. Turns out when people aren't traveling if they don't buy new luggage. I've been trying to think of ways to support local businesses, and I had an old leather backpack that my grandma had given to me when she passed away. It was a good quality backpack but pretty worn with some of the straps broken after my grandmother used it for 50 years :-) I brought it here to see if they could revive it, and they did! It looks beautiful, and was very reasonably priced. I'm so grateful I get to keep this keepsake forever. Also all of the employees, and the owner, are very kind people. Take a genuine interest in your life! If you have any restoration projects that has anything to do with baggage, go to them! He was even telling me about an old golf club case that they restored for someone recently. Also they have all sorts of travel products including socks, underwear, packing separators, etc! Referred to Paradise by another longstanding Denver-area baggage repair shop for extensive leather and restoration work on a gorgeous matched set of deerskin cases originally purchased from Kauffman's in Pittsburgh, dating to the late 1940's, when my mother went off to college. Work was done expeditiously, correctly, and the price was fair. Excellent communication, and friendly, experienced staff. They are patient, listen carefully to what your problem is and what you would like done, and then either get that accomplished, or politely provide a superior approach which they can do, and then get it done. There were some related issues that required some follow on work (original effort was fine, other things cropped up) which was also done rapidly and took account of my travel schedule. Bags are probably good, with proper maintenance, for another 70 years now. Highly recommended. read more

I brought a bag in for warranty service with a RMA ticket from High Sierra, as Paradise Baggage is one of their service centers here in Colorado. Even before looking at the paperwork I had or asking what was wrong they said it was out of warranty and not covered. The 2 people working there were smug and dismissive when I was trying to explain what was wrong with this bag and show them the warranty and receipt. The XBT rolling bag has a limited 5 year warranty. This bag was 14 months old. Afterwords I called and talked to someone at High Sierra and they were very nice and listened to my explanation of what was wrong and are currently working on the repair and helping me out. Never go to this place! Horrible, horrible service! If I could give "0" stars I would. read more

Kudos to these folks. I've had a man's Louis Vuitton Messenger bag for a few years. It was in serious need of some restoration. I wagged it to LV in Cherry Creek to send it off for the necessary repairs. The pretentious LV staff at CC wouldn't even fill out a repair ticket stating it couldn't be repaired. I called BS on that and set about to find someone to undertake the task. Best stop I ever made was at Paradise Baggage on south Broadway in Englewood. They were so pleasant and friendly and just happen to have a craftsman that has many years' experience in exactly the repairs I needed. I got my beautifully restored bag back yesterday and was thrilled at the results. I've had three people tell me already that my bag looks brand-new. I cannot thank these folks enough. I had to get my carry on bag fixed as the stiching had torn and the handle was no longer connected to the bag. I shipped them my piece of luggage from California. The made an excellent repair. UPDATE: After giving them an opportunity to do better, they said there was nothing they could do. Wonderful experience at Paradise! New Travelpro suitcase had handle rivets falling out that were never properly installed at manufacturer. I live a 3 hour drive from Denver area so I asked if they could fix while I waited. Despite them having a 4 week backlog of bags to fix they graciously said they would fix the rivets. Not only was a generous resolution offered by the kind clerk, but the woman who owned the business even followed up that afternoon. How totally unexpected. They said that they could repair it for me under Delsey's warranty. I told them that I was visiting and need it by Friday. This was Monday. They promised it by Friday. I can not say enough amazing things about this store. I came in today to drop off my Victorinox suitcase for repairs. Uncle Dave talked me through the whole process and explained all of my options in detail. Since my luggage had a rip in the seam of the zipper the repair could not be performed on site due to the entire zipper needing to be replaced. It has to be sent to the manufacturer which cost me $40 in shipping but my warranty should cover all repairs. Uncle Dave assured me that if the manufacturer tried to deny the warranty coverage he would go to bat for me. They even provided me with a free loaner suitcase to keep until my repaired suitcase comes back. I am a full time traveler and this shop is like a candy store for me. I took some time looking at all of the products they carry and Uncle Dave took the time to talk to me about pros and cons of all the brands I was interested in. I believe that he made honest unbiased recommendations based off of his experience. He did not just try to upsell me. Paradise absolutely lived up to all of these good reviews! I had ripped one side of the hip belt off of my backpack and shredded the fabric it was attached to, so I wasn't sure what to expect for a repair. Uncle Dave gave me a quote and told me they would call before doing anything if the repair would cost more. I said I wasn't in a rush, but got a call about a week later that the repair was finished. My bag came back perfectly and at the quoted price, with the new strap attached to fabric they cut to match the undamaged side of the bag - as good as new!
