I am writing this review because I believe Paradise Beach needs to seriously address a safety issue and the way my concerns were handled by management. I have been to Paradise Beach before and understand how the all-inclusive package works, including the alcohol service. My concern is not that alcohol is available -- my concern is what happens when guests are drinking to the point that their safety may be compromised. My 25-year-old daughter is currently visiting Paradise Beach with her boyfriend and a female friend. Based on videos posted online, they were taking shots and participating in the "rainbow" drink challenge over approximately five hours. In the videos, they appeared severely intoxicated. They were impaired to the point that I was genuinely concerned they may not have been able to make safe decisions for themselves, especially while in another country and participating in activities such as water excursions. A person who is extremely intoxicated around water or in an unfamiliar environment can be at serious risk of injury or even death. This is not a minor concern. What concerns me even more is how my safety concern was handled by the manager, Manuel. I called the beach club because I was frightened for my daughter's safety and wanted someone on-site to be aware of the situation. Instead of listening, showing concern, or acknowledging the seriousness of the situation, Manuel was rude, dismissive, and told me that I am her mother and she is my responsibility and can drink as much as she wants. That response was extremely disappointing. I understand that adults are responsible for their own choices, but an establishment that promotes unlimited alcohol also has a responsibility to recognize when a guest may be dangerously impaired and vulnerable. A manager's response to a legitimate safety concern should be compassion, professionalism, and a willingness to help -- not dismissal. At the time of writing this, I do not even know whether my daughter made it safely back to the cruise ship, and I am left worried about her well-being. Paradise Beach needs to review both its alcohol service practices and the behavior and training of its management staff. The issue here is not simply that someone drank too much -- the issue is that a safety concern was raised and was not taken seriously by the person responsible for managing the facility. read more

Cozumel Day at Paradise Beach We booked the all-inclusive day pass through Viator and saved 10%, and honestly... anytime I can save a little money, I will. Quick tip for anyone going: when you walk out of the port and head to the taxi line, don't just jump into the first one. Our first driver tried to upcharge us quite a bit. We kept walking and were able to negotiate. I had heard it's usually around $15 per ride (not per person), but we ended up paying $20 -- and honestly it's a bit of a drive, so I get it. Also... those taxi drivers drive like we're in GTA. Once we arrived, the vibe was totally peaceful. Yes, the chairs are fairly close together (similar setup to Mr. Sanchos), but Paradise Beach felt much calmer and less of a party scene, which we really appreciated. The food and drinks were actually really good for an all-inclusive beach club. We tried quite a few things: * Nachos * Quesadillas * Blue cheese burger * Grilled shrimp * Coconut shrimp * Grilled mahi tacos -- which were the highlight The beach was nice, the pool was great, and you basically pick your "home base" (pool or beach) so your waiter knows where to find you for food and drinks. Great place to go when in Cozumel. This is our second time on a cruise to choose this place for our excursion. They have lots of lounge chairs at the pool and at the beach. Most of the beach chairs have cover from umbrellas. There is a nice pier and tiki hut. Nice pic opportunity from the pier with the Paradise Beach sign. You can either do an all inclusive that includes drinks and food or ala carte where you pay for each item separately. Each option includes the chairs. For the all inclusive you pay a tip on the food and drinks you ordered. The water obstacle course is an extra fee. read more

We went to a different club on our last cruise. Decided to go to this one again. Made a great choice. It takes a long time to check in but that's to be expected since it was so many people. We had 24 in our party. We had all inclusive for most of the adults and a few young adults. A couple of cabanas were rented, the rest of us opted to go to the beach first. Service was excellent, Julio and Francisco helped us. They kept the drinks coming. We ordered tequila, beers, margarita and tequila sunrise. The food was really good this time. I had plenty of shrimp and fish tacos. I love their tortilla chips. We spent time at the beach, some people did jet skis, some did massage. The beach was so nice. We ended the day at the pool, which was very refreshing. Having the cabana allowed us to keep our bags safe and also the waiter took some of our food and drink orders. We tipped them well. What a beautiful beach! My mom and I visited here and we had a great time despite the rain. The all inclusive package is totally worth it. Food and drinks are all you can eat and you can get served from anywhere in the beach. When you arrive they allow you to pick where you want to sit which is ether by the pool or the beach. There are many seats. To take a positive away from the rain, it was hardly anyone at the beach on the day we visited so we didn't have to wait for any of our orders and it was very peaceful. Surprisingly the food was tasty!! My favorites were all the shrimp dishes. The shrimp were large and fresh, I couldn't believe there was so many seafood options included in the all you can eat. Don't get me wrong, the sand is soft, the water is blue, and the facilities are clean. But the moment you see the bill, you remember you're not in paradise, you're in a tourist economy running on U.S. prices. Day passes, food, and drinks are all overpriced -- the kind of "high U.S. rates" that make you double-check if you're still in Mexico. For what you pay, you expect something extraordinary, but the experience is just... fine. Plenty of lounge chairs, a pool, and calm waters, but nothing that feels worth the premium. Paradise? More like "Wallet-Empty Beach." Paradise Beach is pretty, sure -- but overpriced and a little too polished. If you're cruising in and want an easy, structured beach day, it works. I've been to Paradise Beach two times now and can't wait to go back. We did the all inclusive with a Cabana and it was so worth it. All of the staff is amazing and very attentive. As soon as you order a drink it is brought and there was never a time where I was waiting for our server to come because they were always around ready to take your drink/food order. The drinks were good and strong while still tasty. The pool is big and spacious and the pier is fun with a swing you can jump in the ocean with. Out of the food Id recommend the coconut shrimp! What a fun time at the beach! Cab ride is $18 o/w from the cruise port. Fee is $68 for AYCE (with our without alcohol) drinks & food. The price is the same if you book before hand or pay at the entrance. They have tacos, nachos, fried shrimp and a lot more!! The drinks are very refreshing. They do not provide towels here. There is a cost for the water inflatables. The highlight here might be the pier with the swing at the end of it. You might want to bring water shoes because there are some rocky areas in the ocean floor. If you don't want to go to the ocean you can hangout at the pool and rent a cabana. A very enjoyable day in Cozumel!! We didn't feel like doing an excursion through the cruise line & instead found this place through their Facebook page. It was a great selection! We got the all inclusive day pass which included unlimited food & alcohol, use of their restrooms, changing rooms, pool, beach, chairs, and umbrellas....all for a fair price. We didn't get any of the extras like the inflatable slides or snorkel stuff. The pool was clean & heated, and had some rafts & tubes for our use. It was a busy day (4 cruise ships in port that day) but they kept everything neat & orderly. Our service was wonderful! Kudos to Oscar and his assistants! This February was my first time ever visiting Paradise Beach in Cozumel and I am so glad we came. At first I was a bit skeptical since there is another beach club that I frequently visit and due to the great reviews from Paradise Beach I figured we should finally try it out. Walking in, the entire staff was so inviting with a great smile. I loved how nice everyone was and hyped us up on our experience here as we were being seated to our section. Throughout the walk, tons of people were already having a great time, hanging by the pool drinking, enjoying the music and dancing on the beach. The food is amazing, they have a wide variety of items in their menu for everyone in the family, we went with the all you can eat and drink package since on vacation, who is counting the calories? Their drinks are not strong so you might need a couple more to feel that buzz! Luckily, alcoholic drinks are unlimited! The beach was absolutely beautiful! Pictures do not do enough justice on the beauty of the ocean, all while partaking in some water sports with the entire family. This review is only for the all-inclusive experience. My hubby and I booked the reservation ahead of the cruise (small fee down to hold your reservation), so when we arrived, we just paid the rest of the balance. The food is delicious and plentiful, so make sure you order just what you'll eat, because you can always have more. Our favorite foods are: ceviche, chips and guac, coconut shrimp, garlic shrimp, spicy shrimp pizza, steak burrito, and especially the spicy shrimp tacos! Great drinks, not super watered down. Our favorites are the spicy margaritas, Pina coladas, all the Palmar Hard Seltzers, Mint Bikini, Palmer Spritz. The ambiance is amazing chill, relaxing vibe, but it can get crowded and loud, depending on how many ships are at port that day. We usually like to sit under the palm trees, but have realized after the 2nd time that we will probably want to book one of the cabanas next time, as the beach chairs can be a bit uncomfortable after being there all day. The staff are absolutely amazing and go above and beyond. Be sure to bring some cash to tip them after your super fun day at the beach. And, bring your water shoes. If you want to swim in the ocean, it's very rocky and slippery. Tip on the taxi there and back: the Taxis are very safe and efficient. Don't worry about the taxis, they're very reliable. Trust me, the last thing they want is any issues, bad press, bad for business. Their biggest business is tourism. If you're uncomfortable going by yourself, there are plenty of taxis for bigger groups. We saved money by going in a taxi with another couple, so it's actually a better deal to take the bigger taxis. Bring cash for the taxi rides. We paid $16 one way by ourselves (my hubby and i) on our way back to the port, and ended up paying $9 less when we went with another couple on the way there from the port. read more

Yes! I had an Amazing time at Paradise! After reading so many reviews, and seeing their too shelf packages, we decided to go with them. As soon as we got there they showed us to the check-in & then around the pool and to our beach chairs. I actually preferred the beach chairs on the beach than the cabanas by the pool. It was such a beautiful and perfect day! Our server kept our drinks and shots flowing. I really enjoyed their strawberry margarita as it was full of flavor. I also got their shrimp quesadilla and it was thee best I've ever eaten in a long time. They offered snorkeling and the water trampolines and more. I just wished we had more time there. At the end they closed us out with our tip and there was a cab available outside to take us back to the port. I would definitely visit it again. read more

Excellent Beach Club in Cozumel Mexico. My wife did some research before deciding on Paradise Beach for our port day in Cozumel from our cruise. When we first arrived we were a little disappointed because the winds forced them to shut down the fun center because using the floaties was a little dangerous. (Red flag on the beach). The customer service was excellent as they gave us the option to get a refund if we wanted to try a different Beach Club but after they gave us a tour of the facilities we decided to stay and they gave us a refund for the Fun Pass portion of our fee. Just a tip you will have to make a reservation beforehand as this place is one of the hot spots and is very popular for people visiting Cozumel. The pool was a little chilly at first in April but the beaches were nice and the pool scene was popping. The food was excellent and the drinks were great I'll be it a little weak on alcohol which is what my wife and I prefer anyways. The portion sizes for each of the food dishes is a little small that's a good thing that it prevents waste and you can order as much as you want. The shrimp cocktails were great the ceviches were excellent and the coconut shrimp was fantastic. The tacos were excellent as well from the taco truck adjacent to the beach club. On our brief stop in Cozumel, we booked an all-inclusive day pass to Paradise Beach. Upon arrival, we were greeted by friendly staff members who helped us check-in. We arrived around 8am and the area was pretty quiet at that time (it didn't start to get busy until after 10am). After checking in, we were taken to seats on the beach by our waiter, who was our go to person for all food and drink orders. Of note, the all-inclusive pass covers almost all food and beverages. Food is a la carte rather than a buffet style. Because we were there for ~6 hours, I tried several of their dishes. I started off with the shrimp ceviche which seemed to be missing an ingredient (salt?) but improved with the added lime. I then had two orders of the coconut shrimp (each order comes with 4 shrimp) which came with a mango based sauce. The coconut paired with the mango sauce was delicious! I then ordered the spicy garlic shrimp tacos (comes with 2 small tacos) which were good as well with a slight kick of spice. I ended the day ordering the Mexican fries which were simply fries with an added seasoning. These were very good and I found myself having a hard time putting them down! There were a few other amenities I wanted to mention. There's a pool in the center of the resort which was quite busy after 10am. There's also a water park on the beach, with inflatable slides/obstacle courses and kayaks. These are not included in the all-inclusive pass (costs $14 extra per person). Finally, there are a few areas to get a massage which cost roughly $60 for 40 min (pretty proportional to this rate depending on time, ie it was ~$30 for 20 min). The last thing I wanted to note as an FYI: although most have the all-inclusive package, Paradise Beach still lists the prices of their food and drinks on the menu. At the end of your stay, they provide a "bill" of what the food would have cost if you did not sign up for the all-inclusive. They ask for a ~20% gratuity, as this is what is added to purchases for those who do not have the all-inclusive package. For 5 of us, this ended up being a tip of $60, so just wanted to give a heads up to help budget! The service was great! read more

We had such a wonderful time visiting Cozumel and, specifically, Paradise Beach. We took a chance to book our excursion to Paradise Beach on a recent cruise. We were not disappointed. Booking online was a breeze. When we arrived, we were greeted by a whole host of staff members waiting to take care of our every need. I gave my name and booking information to one of the staff in the gift shop. You do not pay at the time of the booking, rather you pay when you arrive. This is nice on the off chance that you don't make your cruise or the itinerary changes. Once paid, we were escorted to the beach and a set of chairs. A flag is placed on one of the chairs to indicate that they are reserved. We then had a waiter who brought us drinks and offered to get us anything else we needed, including food. The drinks and food are inclusive of the price for the day's admission. The facilities included bathrooms where you can change clothes, a heated pool and a beach with a dock, and plenty of romper room type inflatables in the shallow areas of the ocean to trample on and climb over. I think we spent 90% of our time in the ocean just relaxing. If you've ever been to Cozumel, you know that the afternoons often bring rain. Who cares, you're wet and in the ocean. But it does sometimes cause the air to cool down, making it a good time to move to the heated pool. This is where we spent the rest of our time. The food was more than decent, and there is a large menu with plenty to choose from. Try the nachos and fries. Great finger food to fill you up. The portions are not skimpy. The drinks were well liquored and flavorful. The waitstaff came by quite often to make sure you had what you needed." When it came time to head back to our ship, the staff ensured that a taxi was ready and waiting. We had no issues getting back. This is their business. They are open to the cruising crowd, so they know when you must be back on the ship and ensure you get back on time. Good spot to spend a day while in Cozumel. Make sure you secure a spot by making a reservation on their website ahead of time. I recommend splurging on the "premium" upgraded package too so you're drinking better than rail alcohol. All food is included on the menu. The burritos were good, nachos were solid, tacos are good but a little small. Order as much as you want though, it's all included in your cover charge. Gift shop at the exit has some decent stuff at reasonable prices. My son got a long sleeve rash guard for less than $25. read more

We were greeted at the entrance, and they took our name to verify reservation and have us wristbands. We were escorted to the beach chairs (we preferred that over being seated near the pool). We found a spot on the second row from the water. The kiddos went to the water, and I sat and chilled for a bit. They do have umbrellas that cover you in the chairs, which was great as well. Service was great, and we didn't want for anything. They were always walking around asking if we needed anything. We ordered drinks and food throughout. The water was cool, the pool was very nice and was well. Bathrooms and changing area, very clean. They had an area where you could do other antibiotics , activities (for a fee) , banana boat, jet ski, massage, etc. There was a little pharmacy & shopping area as well. We decided to book through Paradises website rather than the shore excursions from the ship. After viewing lots of options for beach clubs on Cozumel, pros and cons of pricing and menus etc., we decided on the all-inclusive option at Paradise Beach for our beach club of the day. What an excellent choice that was! Upon arrival they have a cute gift shop (and pricing actually isn't too bad), then you pay whatever balance you have and are given wristbands and escorted by one of their staff to either sit by the pool, or the beach. We chose the pool, but of course you can use either body of water. Our service staff consisted of 2 men who did a great job keeping in touch with all of our needs and requests. I was worried it was going to be very busy with cruise ship passengers, and although I did see lots of carnival towels, the whole place was probably only 40-50% occupied. The pool is large and lovely, but most importantly it was clean, clear, and not heavily chemical smelling. I probably drank my weight in aperol spritz's and a special strawberry vodka drink called a Pink Flamingo, and my mom was quite fond of champagne (mimosa with no juice), and the Fernet Colada which was their version of a piña colada that also has lime and mint. I had a sip, it really was special and liked that the blended drinks were really smooth and creamy, not chunky and icy. Upon request they brought us buckets of ice with cute little bottles of water in them, which was a great reminder to stay hydrated and the ice was also convenient to add to our drinks. The tacos were superstars, and I always ordered them with a side of chips/salsa/guacamole. Their guacamole and chips was pretty fantastic, and if you ask for some extra hot salsa they bring you a little bottle with some smoky black super hot Salsa to add in. Coconut shrimp were also tasty, and the shrimp Caesar looked stellar. We got lots of pictures on the swing and other various photo ops (see added photos), and just had the best time. We were treated extremely well, and look forward to coming back! PLEASE TIP YOUR SERVERS!!! They so much appreciate it, work hard, and give much more than the bare minimum of service. We "discovered" this place because we'd heard some cruise crew members went there and honestly for $60 per person all inclusive, it's a seriously good deal! You get Beach OR pool, (and you actually get a place to sit! I hate going to a beach or pool and not being able to find chairs together). Our servers were Luis and Josue and all day they called us by our names and took really good care of us. The drinks are well poured, I drank mojitos all day and my husband went around the menu trying all different options. And there are a lot of options! If you want to upgrade to "call" alcohol you can do that for $30 for the day. Want to be fancy? You can also upgrade to a cabana! We had chips and salsa (the salsa was a tad spicy for me), chips and guacamole (perfect), we sampled 3 of the 5 taco options (all good), later we had the shrimp cocktail (a little weird, the shrimp comes literally swimming in cocktail sauce!) and we had a margarita pizza and the Hawaiian pizza. They were crispy and delicious and just the right size. The pool was cool and clean with a ton of floats to share. The beach was sandy and not rocky, easy to walk on. There are all sorts of water toy options that you can upgrade your ticket to include. These all require upper body strength that I do not have! so I didn't upgrade but the trampoline looked fun. There are lots of photo ops, swings, back drops, etc to let the people back home know that you're here in Paradise beach and they aren't! Cruisers: We were dropped off at the Langosta Port and after wandering around town for awhile we wanted to get some beach action or relaxation. I hailed a taxi driver and told him which beach is good to go relax at, and he told me this was the spot. The taxi ride was $17USD one way and $5 entrance fee to the facilities. There's a nice beach, pier, bar, food, pool, umbrellas, big restrooms, outdoor showers, and reasonably priced strong mixed drinks. Had a cruise stop in Cozumel so decided to find a beach club. Found paradise beach off google so took a taxi. It was $15 each way. When we got there they asked if we had a reservation and we told them no. They told us about the all inclusive option. I told them we just wanted to hang out for a few hours and didn't need all inclusive. They told us a la carte would be $5 per person to enter and just order off the menu. We got a table and chairs right on the beach. I got a bucket of dos xx beers. 4 12oz cans for $20. My friend got a yard size pina colada for $15. We each got two tacos and they were delicious! $4.25 each. I highly recommend coming here, even when not doing the all inclusive option. Great place to hang for a few hours. read more

The beach is lovely but they charge $500 pesos for use of the beach/palapa AND an additional minimum $500 pesos food consumption. Nachos are $350 pesos a margarita is $210. So the minimum is met very quickly. The drinks are just okay. The nachos are good. As far as service, it is slow and they don't check up on you. They will NOT share the WiFi. There are so many options for beautiful beaches that have smaller if any charge. read more

TLDR: 4 stars for facilities, 5 for service and inclusive food and drink package. I can't say enough wonderful things about this place! Found it on a whim in a Royal Caribbean blog about beaches in Cozumel. When I saw it was all inclusive, I knew it was the place for us! I paid $164 us, for two adults and a kid. We did not get the fun pack for the inflatables, as that isn't really our jam. The Taxi ride for three was $15 from where Royal Caribbean docks. There was a beach area and pool area to choose from and you could go back and forth between both. A minor complaint, the "dressing rooms" weren't dressing rooms, just bathrooms to change in, not the best for changing before we got back in the taxi. Towels were also an extra charge at $4 bucks a towel plus a deposit. They should be included in the inclusive package in my opinion. There were some water buckets next to the pool that other people were sticking their feet in and it looked like it definitely needed to be changed more often, I used a shower instead. Walking into the beach club and through it, the greenery is beautiful, I mean... so pretty! Stellar beach and pool side service from Christian!! He was the absolute best. He literally went and found my daughter a coconut after she wouldn't stop talking about it. He was always there with more drinks and they were soo good! The food my pretty good as well. The tacos from the taco truck were all fantastic. My daughter got the coconut shrimp and my husband got a chicken sandwich for lunch. All the food came out hot and fresh and fast. You can come and not do all inclusive, but after seeing the prices on the menu, if you do drink alcohol and plan to eat, might as well get it. We definitely got our money's worth and I don't feel like we were ordering wastefully. I'm cruising again in July to Cozumel and I know exactly where we're spending our day, in Paradise! read more

Friendly service- only reason I'm giving stars Place was pretty, palm trees and sand was nice. Food was ok. Simple. Water was dirty and huge rocks in the water, and the inflatables were extra 15$ guy literally paddle boarded over to us to tell us to get off. ... not all drinks were included. They don't have any towels for rent. Only buy for 30$. The beach chairs were old and some had mold. It was SO hot and they didn't want to bring another umbrella to the lawn chair (there was 6 of us and only 2 umbrellas) At the end, the waiter came up gave us a receipt of the food we ordered (which was included in the 60 dollar per person fee) but then it says recommended tip $100.00 ! um. Excuse me sir... So we paid 60$ each. Not sure I would say it was worth it. Definitely wouldn't come here again. read more

We've been to Cozumel several times but on our most recent trip in November we visited Paradise Beach for the first time. We actually were having photographs taken their in the morning and decided to stay for the day. The all inclusive was $50pp and was very much worth it. I was surprised by the quality of the food, I didn't expect much with it being all inclusive but it was surprisingly good. The staff was super attentive and friendly. They even sent us with drinks to go. As a side note, the pictures we had taken there turned out beautiful. read more

Was great! Clean restrooms. Ample loungers and didn't feel crowded. The shrimp ceviche was delicious and the service was amazing. Drinks were not too watered down and everything we tried we enjoyed. Would come back again for sure. read more

This was our first time visiting paradise beach after going to a competitor for quite some time. It was VERY quiet in comparison with only one ship in port the day we went. We stayed local so we were able to stay until closing. Our waiter was attentive and we enjoyed having the top shelf package and day bed 19 by the beach bar! The tacos were very good, and the chicken fingers were great to help keep the alcohol at bay. It rained for about an hour but led to a beautiful sunset like always once it's done raining. Beach area is very nice, there's sea hammocks that are great to swim out to and lay in. Would consider coming back next time we're staying local! read more

This is great excursion for the cruise line passages wanting a value added experience in Cozumel. The price includes food and drink. The food and drinks are really great. We had some fantastic waiters (Josue, Fernando, and Daniel). The pool and beach are well maintained and clean. If you are looking for great day in the sun with both sand and pool this is great value.
