We went to a different club on our last cruise. Decided to go to this one again. Made a great choice. It takes a long time to check in but that's to be expected since it was so many people. We had 24 in our party. We had all inclusive for most of the adults and a few young adults. A couple of cabanas were rented, the rest of us opted to go to the beach first. Service was excellent, Julio and Francisco helped us. They kept the drinks coming. We ordered tequila, beers, margarita and tequila sunrise. The food was really good this time. I had plenty of shrimp and fish tacos. I love their tortilla chips. We spent time at the beach, some people did jet skis, some did massage. The beach was so nice. We ended the day at the pool, which was very refreshing. Having the cabana allowed us to keep our bags safe and also the waiter took some of our food and drink orders. We tipped them well. The time went by too fast.

We had the best day at paradise beach in Cozumel! Carlos and Arnie were the best waiters and made sure a good time was had. They had the best attitudes and were very attentive (and hilarious). It was reasonably priced for the all inclusive package and the food and drinks were great. The beach and pool were beautiful and we even got massages that were amazing. We would definitely come back!

What a beautiful beach! My mom and I visited here and we had a great time despite the rain. The all inclusive package is totally worth it. Food and drinks are all you can eat and you can get served from anywhere in the beach. When you arrive they allow you to pick where you want to sit which is ether by the pool or the beach. There are many seats. To take a positive away from the rain, it was hardly anyone at the beach on the day we visited so we didn't have to wait for any of our orders and it was very peaceful. Surprisingly the food was tasty!! My favorites were all the shrimp dishes. The shrimp were large and fresh, I couldn't believe there was so many seafood options included in the all you can eat. As for the drinks, they weren't the best but is expected on most beaches. Overall, I can't wait to return on a sunny day so I can enjoy the beach to full capacity!!

Another excellent experience! Came here right when they opened and got a great spot by the pool. I had easy access to the beach as well. Service was fantastic! The drinks were great and the food was fresh! Love the vibes here and the music.

I've been to Paradise Beach two times now and can't wait to go back. We did the all inclusive with a Cabana and it was so worth it. All of the staff is amazing and very attentive. As soon as you order a drink it is brought and there was never a time where I was waiting for our server to come because they were always around ready to take your drink/food order. The drinks were good and strong while still tasty. The pool is big and spacious and the pier is fun with a swing you can jump in the ocean with. Out of the food Id recommend the coconut shrimp! This will definitely be a must every time I go to Cozumel. Wish I had more pics but too busy having fun!

What a fun time at the beach! Cab ride is $18 o/w from the cruise port. Fee is $68 for AYCE (with our without alcohol) drinks & food. The price is the same if you book before hand or pay at the entrance. They have tacos, nachos, fried shrimp and a lot more!! The drinks are very refreshing. They do not provide towels here. There is a cost for the water inflatables. The highlight here might be the pier with the swing at the end of it. You might want to bring water shoes because there are some rocky areas in the ocean floor. If you don't want to go to the ocean you can hangout at the pool and rent a cabana. They have a pharmacy and boutique store too!

A very enjoyable day in Cozumel!! We didn't feel like doing an excursion through the cruise line & instead found this place through their Facebook page. It was a great selection! We got the all inclusive day pass which included unlimited food & alcohol, use of their restrooms, changing rooms, pool, beach, chairs, and umbrellas....all for a fair price. We didn't get any of the extras like the inflatable slides or snorkel stuff. The pool was clean & heated, and had some rafts & tubes for our use. It was a busy day (4 cruise ships in port that day) but they kept everything neat & orderly. Our service was wonderful! Kudos to Oscar and his assistants! Definitely would choose Paradise Beach again!

Food - garlic and coconut shrimp my favorites! Tacos were pretty decent. Guacamole and pico are not bad . All inclusive beach club, so the food is a good deal. Drinks good selection. My favorites are the Bahamas mama and the rum punch. Service could have been a little more personal able and asking more frequently if we needed refills. It's still an amazing deal for all you can eat food and drinks at a nice beach bar for around $65 pp and $10 rt pp taxi ride. Beach, loungers, umbrellas, and a large warm pool with floating devices. I had a good time!

This review is only for the all-inclusive experience. My hubby and I booked the reservation ahead of the cruise (small fee down to hold your reservation), so when we arrived, we just paid the rest of the balance. The food is delicious and plentiful, so make sure you order just what you'll eat, because you can always have more. Our favorite foods are: ceviche, chips and guac, coconut shrimp, garlic shrimp, spicy shrimp pizza, steak burrito, and especially the spicy shrimp tacos! Great drinks, not super watered down. Our favorites are the spicy margaritas, Pina coladas, all the Palmar Hard Seltzers, Mint Bikini, Palmer Spritz. The ambiance is amazing chill, relaxing vibe, but it can get crowded and loud, depending on how many ships are at port that day. We usually like to sit under the palm trees, but have realized after the 2nd time that we will probably want to book one of the cabanas next time, as the beach chairs can be a bit uncomfortable after being there all day. The staff are absolutely amazing and go above and beyond. Be sure to bring some cash to tip them after your super fun day at the beach. And, bring your water shoes. If you want to swim in the ocean, it's very rocky and slippery. Tip on the taxi there and back: the Taxis are very safe and efficient. Don't worry about the taxis, they're very reliable. Trust me, the last thing they want is any issues, bad press, bad for business. Their biggest business is tourism. If you're uncomfortable going by yourself, there are plenty of taxis for bigger groups. We saved money by going in a taxi with another couple, so it's actually a better deal to take the bigger taxis. Bring cash for the taxi rides. We paid $16 one way by ourselves (my hubby and i) on our way back to the port, and ended up paying $9 less when we went with another couple on the way there from the port.

Yes! I had an Amazing time at Paradise! After reading so many reviews, and seeing their too shelf packages, we decided to go with them. As soon as we got there they showed us to the check-in & then around the pool and to our beach chairs. I actually preferred the beach chairs on the beach than the cabanas by the pool. It was such a beautiful and perfect day! Our server kept our drinks and shots flowing. I really enjoyed their strawberry margarita as it was full of flavor. I also got their shrimp quesadilla and it was thee best I've ever eaten in a long time. They offered snorkeling and the water trampolines and more. I just wished we had more time there. At the end they closed us out with our tip and there was a cab available outside to take us back to the port. I would definitely visit it again.

Excellent Beach Club in Cozumel Mexico. My wife did some research before deciding on Paradise Beach for our port day in Cozumel from our cruise. When we first arrived we were a little disappointed because the winds forced them to shut down the fun center because using the floaties was a little dangerous. (Red flag on the beach). The customer service was excellent as they gave us the option to get a refund if we wanted to try a different Beach Club but after they gave us a tour of the facilities we decided to stay and they gave us a refund for the Fun Pass portion of our fee. Just a tip you will have to make a reservation beforehand as this place is one of the hot spots and is very popular for people visiting Cozumel. The pool was a little chilly at first in April but the beaches were nice and the pool scene was popping. The food was excellent and the drinks were great I'll be it a little weak on alcohol which is what my wife and I prefer anyways. The portion sizes for each of the food dishes is a little small that's a good thing that it prevents waste and you can order as much as you want. The shrimp cocktails were great the ceviches were excellent and the coconut shrimp was fantastic. The tacos were excellent as well from the taco truck adjacent to the beach club. Thank you to the staff and the owners for operating such a wonderful Beach Club. Five stars easily for Paradise beach. Those who know choose Paradise Beach. Gracias por todos!

On our brief stop in Cozumel, we booked an all-inclusive day pass to Paradise Beach. Upon arrival, we were greeted by friendly staff members who helped us check-in. We arrived around 8am and the area was pretty quiet at that time (it didn't start to get busy until after 10am). After checking in, we were taken to seats on the beach by our waiter, who was our go to person for all food and drink orders. Of note, the all-inclusive pass covers almost all food and beverages. Food is a la carte rather than a buffet style. Because we were there for ~6 hours, I tried several of their dishes. I started off with the shrimp ceviche which seemed to be missing an ingredient (salt?) but improved with the added lime. I then had two orders of the coconut shrimp (each order comes with 4 shrimp) which came with a mango based sauce. The coconut paired with the mango sauce was delicious! I then ordered the spicy garlic shrimp tacos (comes with 2 small tacos) which were good as well with a slight kick of spice. I ended the day ordering the Mexican fries which were simply fries with an added seasoning. These were very good and I found myself having a hard time putting them down! There were a few other amenities I wanted to mention. There's a pool in the center of the resort which was quite busy after 10am. There's also a water park on the beach, with inflatable slides/obstacle courses and kayaks. These are not included in the all-inclusive pass (costs $14 extra per person). Finally, there are a few areas to get a massage which cost roughly $60 for 40 min (pretty proportional to this rate depending on time, ie it was ~$30 for 20 min). The last thing I wanted to note as an FYI: although most have the all-inclusive package, Paradise Beach still lists the prices of their food and drinks on the menu. At the end of your stay, they provide a "bill" of what the food would have cost if you did not sign up for the all-inclusive. They ask for a ~20% gratuity, as this is what is added to purchases for those who do not have the all-inclusive package. For 5 of us, this ended up being a tip of $60, so just wanted to give a heads up to help budget! The service was great!

    Ocean fun!

We had such a wonderful time visiting Cozumel and, specifically, Paradise Beach. We took a chance to book our excursion to Paradise Beach on a recent cruise. We were not disappointed. Booking online was a breeze. When we arrived, we were greeted by a whole host of staff members waiting to take care of our every need. I gave my name and booking information to one of the staff in the gift shop. You do not pay at the time of the booking, rather you pay when you arrive. This is nice on the off chance that you don't make your cruise or the itinerary changes. Once paid, we were escorted to the beach and a set of chairs. A flag is placed on one of the chairs to indicate that they are reserved. We then had a waiter who brought us drinks and offered to get us anything else we needed, including food. The drinks and food are inclusive of the price for the day's admission. The facilities included bathrooms where you can change clothes, a heated pool and a beach with a dock, and plenty of romper room type inflatables in the shallow areas of the ocean to trample on and climb over. I think we spent 90% of our time in the ocean just relaxing. If you've ever been to Cozumel, you know that the afternoons often bring rain. Who cares, you're wet and in the ocean. But it does sometimes cause the air to cool down, making it a good time to move to the heated pool. This is where we spent the rest of our time. The food was more than decent, and there is a large menu with plenty to choose from. Try the nachos and fries. Great finger food to fill you up. The portions are not skimpy. The drinks were well liquored and flavorful. The waitstaff came by quite often to make sure you had what you needed." When it came time to head back to our ship, the staff ensured that a taxi was ready and waiting. We had no issues getting back. This is their business. They are open to the cruising crowd, so they know when you must be back on the ship and ensure you get back on time. We were extremely pleased with our time at Paradise Beach and look forward to returning on a future trip!

We…read moredidn't book an excursion through the cruise line but found a great option right at the pier before reaching the Cozumel sign. A gentleman had a booth for Playa Mia. You can purchase the $15 day pass to access the beach. There was another package that included food, but it seemed unnecessary since we didn't plan on staying too long. My goal was getting a spot where the kids can play with sand. The weather had been iffy too. It was raining on the taxi ride there, but thankfully it let up by the time we walked to the beach area. Once we arrived, we did have to pay $6 for an umbrella to use with our beach chairs. The umbrella kept closing so we had to get somebody to keep opening it back up. Finally, they told us they had to close the beach umbrellas for 30 minutes due to the wind that was coming. That was my sign to leave since it had already poured on our way there. The bathrooms are located to the left of the open buffet area. They have a feet washing area in front of the bathroom. There are two entrances. The left is for the toilets and the right is for the showers. Inside the shower area they have the baby change table. The beach area itself was clean and well maintained. Once you get there, keep going all the way inside. There were will be stores and excursions you can purchase. The ticket area to show you paid and to get your wristband will be on the left. We purchased a sand bucket that came with a toy from a store there for $10. They offer fun inflatables in the water for the older kids and banana boat rides. We apparently had a server who was helping our area. The gentleman who served us was friendly and attentive. My little one was thrilled to have chicken wings. We asked for the sauce on the side and the wings were crispy. We also tried the fajitas and they were pretty good. The salsa had a nice kick. I would definitely skip on the bean and cheese nachos! Overall, it was a great, affordable way to enjoy some time at the beach without committing to a full day excursion. I'd recommend this for anyone looking for a low-key, budget-friendly beach day with the kids.

We came in on a…read moreDisney cruise and I checked before booking and only 1 other cruise ship was in port on the day we visited and that ship was a more adult oriented cruise line. Because of that I was fairly confident Playa Mia would not be overly full and I turned out to be correct. After doing some research before going there are other offerings that are better for pure adult visitors and Playa Mia strikes a good middle ground for everyone. We picked this beach park because it was the only one that didn't nickel-and-dime you on every little add-on: for example the obstacle course/water park is included with the all-inclusive package we bought. As I mentioned, we did get the all-inclusive package including travel. Some of the other guests were not on all-inclusive visit and most opted for their own travel. Having already been once, next time I may handle travel myself as I am an experienced traveler and the taxi's were very friendly, however with a young one in tow I must say the friendliness and helpfulness of the people who met us and arranged our travel in both directions was amazing and I absolutely do not regret paying a little extra for the included travel. Ultimately they did just put us in a taxi that they paid for but they met us super close to the boat exit and walked us all the way to the taxi stand and dealt with telling him where to go, etc. That was nice while we dealt with our hyped up kids in a new environment. I can't speak to the non all-inclusive experience but if you don't plan to drink a lot (including water/soft drinks for the kids) I think it can be a bargain. However, with the full package we bought, the only thing I ended up paying for was a deposit on the towels that we ultimately got back. I did tip our server (Alberto was awesome) decently well because of how much work he did during the almost full day we were there - so tipping is an additional expense that happens in any kind of place like this. One note, I did go for the top level all-inclusive package and with that the adults got a Tequila tasting and the kids got a chocolate tasting. Obviously the intent of these is to sell some goods but don't skip out on these if you get them - both tastings were delicious and even though we never buy anything at these things, in retrospect we still wish we had picked up some coffee Tequila. Because the day we visited wasn't super crowded, we had such a great time. The facilities are on the older side and the landscaping isn't perfectly manicured but it's on a beautiful beach and there was at least a little something for everyone: from 5 years old to 40. If it were considerably busier, that might pose an issue but they have a lot of room for people to spread out so except for the buffet being busy, I think it would take a lot of people for it to ruin your day.

Everything is beautifully maintained, super clean, and very well organized. The staff was helpful from start to finish, and the whole place felt safe and easy to navigate. Food options were plentiful with something for everyone, and it was a huge plus that meals were included. There's also plenty of parking (we didn't have to pay), which made getting there stress-free. We ordered: Beef tacos: carne was much better than the place in costa maya. Beef nachos: 5/5 big portions, chips piled high with real melted cheese (not nacho cheese), beans, guacamole and meat. Very good! Chicken nachos: 5/5 just like above but with diced chicken. Several buckets of beers: comes with a plate of chips and salsa. Other alcohol.

If anyone wants to visit a dying water park, this is it!…read more More than half of the attractions were closed on a Saturday in June. It looked like there wasn't anywhere near enough staff to open the rides. All of Aaahventura was closed the entire day except for the zip line for 1 hour. They'll tell you to keep coming back later in the day (4pm) so they can get one large group in, then shut the ride down again. All of the large water slides were closed. I've never seen an empty lazy river in the middle of summer until I came here. You have to rent inner tubes for $150 MXN so anyone who ventured in there just swam it and ignored all the signs saying not to do that. The lifeguard was cool about it. Don't waste your time at this park unless you're getting free tickets and you can drive out of there once you've had enough!

Lockers are $11 for a medium size! Tubes for the lazy river are $9. We thought we were getting a ticket that included everything, but they figure out ways to get you to spend a lot more. Half the rides were closed. The zip lining was cool but only opened for a few hours. So you had to plan between that and the water park. The lines were short, so that was cool too.

Ok, not gonna lie. The water park itself, won't be back again. But the dolphin swim that…read moreaccompanies it (right next to it) definitely will! Like all the other reviews say, it was a little run down... and pretty dead. There were not a lot of options for the slides, and we went through it basically the first hour. We went because we basically had to in order to get in to the Dolphin swim activity. It came with a package we purchased from the hotel using our resort credits. The price itself, I guess since we used resort credits and we got admission to both wet n wild and dolphin swim, it wasn't too bad, so I wouldn't know what the real price is for getting in here by itself. Also, it comes with lunch, but the lunch itself was really bleh. I guess my expectation at the time was really high because of the Sun Palace food that we've been getting, so it's not necessarily a fair comparison. So yes, basically after our dolphin swim was over which was at 2 pm, we took a taxi and left the park right away. Didn't care that there was a bus that was coming to pick us up at around 430pm. Sad to say, my time was better spent in the hotel napping and lounging rather than in this park.

After a 30 minute boat ride to the park located right on the beach, we arrived to see seaweed piled on the beach, giving a terrible sewage like smell throughout the entire park. There are only 3 main slides, a wave pool, and a lazy river. The park opens at 10am but the only thing open was the wave pool. Everything else opened 10:30 and later. From booking with Moon Palace, a voucher for 3 drinks and 1 meal were included. Meal choices included tacos, pizza, or burgers. Out of everything I think the burgers were the best however food is only barely edible. I thought other reviews were over exaggerating, but they are true. Birds are flying everywhere around the park trying to pick at the food, even from the trash can. Bird poop is all over the lounge chairs. And metal is rusty everywhere. You get through all the activities in the first hour in the park and then you wait around for the boat to take you back to your resort. I would give this place zero stars if I could. One star for the 3 free alcoholic drinks I had to bare with this place.

Totally not recommended. It was the worst thing of my holidays so far…read more Not kid friendly, we paid $99 and did it for the kids, turned out the kiddos weren't allow to do most of the activities. Not friendly stuff, they didn't try to accommodate anything after our complains. I totally felt I throwed away my money, time and got a bad experience during a nice holiday. In top of that, they don't allow you to take pictures so they ask you later for extra +$100 to buy the pictures... Better to stay off this place, specially with young kids.

Most horrible experience of our trip! Bad management of the place!!!! Zero knowledge of customer…read moreservice. My husband and I did the experience mainly for our 3yrs old daughter. There were some experiences that she was not allowed to do (which the age limit was NEVER communicated to us). So we then told the trainer that my husband and I will pass on some of the dolphin tricks to allocate that time for our daughter instead to repeat some of the dolphin interaction that she can participate on. The trainer said yes but didn't do any of that. All of this was communicated in clear Spanish so there was no "lost in translation". We ended up paying to see the dolphin interact with the other family that was in our group. We complained and was rudely told that we can file a report (that we all know goes to nowhere) and nothing else can be done. Right after that moment, a family of 8 asked us if the experience was worth it and if they should do it. We said absolutely not. That's all it takes to lose 8 paying customers. Word of mouth from unhappy, disrespected, uncompensated customers. On a different note, we also noticed that our dolphin's nose had a scarred nose that looked like a result from their tricks (that we took a pass on). One of the trick is the dolphin pushes your entire body with a boogie board with the base of your feet using the tip of his nose. A lot of tension and weight for this animal to do - everyday at every hour.

Once there they tell us our 6 year old is too short and will have to stay on platform. Then sell us some crazy photo package got nearly $400 usd. Nahh... proceed and they say won't start for another 30 mins to enjoy the beach. We then meet up for the orientation and they send us back to shower as the kids were sandy. Finally arrive they give my child a broken life vest and I ask for another the guy says no he's fine. We then have the dolphin experience which was lovely. Carla and Angelina were great. Then no further directions we squeezed in the bathroom to change and paid the $7 to rent the towel. Then finally we are shown the beautiful pictures. We wanted one group photo and they said the price is per person not photo! Insane there is 6 of us at $89 a person is ridiculous! We tried to negotiate a deal... his deal was $105 for just the digital photos of the kids. I said I just want one photo of our group and he said they can't do that. Walked out. Why would we pay $89 per person for a photograph. And digital at that. The whole thing is money money so overpriced for the 15 mins we spent with a dolphin. Do not recommend for families on a budget.

Since the dolphins are born in captivity, I'm not sure why she appeared so rough. The experience itself was enjoyable, and the photo package was actually cheaper if purchased right before leaving. I would have given this a higher rating if the dolphins had looked healthier.
