Well.. the show was so much fun! It's interactive and different which makes it a really unique experience. Amazing talents! The service was really good as well. However, for a Michelin starred chef, the food selection was a little disappointing. I say this because we spent $195 per person without tip or drinks for dinner and a show and don't get me wrong.. I understand the reasoning behind being playful with the menu but seriously?? Okay truffle popcorn to start, delicious, but for dinner a weird tasting plate of cauliflower, fried chicken wings, a box of lettuce leaves (not sure the purpose of this?) but then a small bowl of Pringle chips with seasoning or caviar? Without a doubt it was Pringle's. $195 for Pringle's and chicken wings? I wouldn't say spending $750 per couple was worth it. The punch bowl was delicious and lamb was good and tender but mostly fat. Came to see their show The Devouring, and truly enjoyed it. It was like a mix of Cirque du Soleil and a burlesque show. Worth the $195 you pay p/p. Most of the food was good except for the cauliflower dish, which was kind of strange as it was just literally a big whole cauliflower with a sauce over it, didn't even look appetizing. The show was really good, every performer did a great job. Service was not that great, which I was surprised by. Most of the servers look very "unhappy." It may sound silly but when your server looks like they're being forced to do their job and are rude when interacting with you it just kills the whole vibe. read more

Came to a day breaker event and absolutely loved the space - the lighting, the dance floor, the elegance of the entry space and the boom when you walk in. Hidden inside a hotel (with fantastic staff great at identifying and directing attendees who look lost), I enjoyed the ambiance of this intimate and very chic space - perfect for dancing the day (early am) away, watching the amazing performers then sitting on the floor for some calming sound meditation. Downside of course is having to get through time square to get here - but absolutely worth the short trek and hope to be back for more. read more

I went to Paradise Club last Friday evening to see Julianne Hough in concert and I was very impressed with the space. The interior is beautiful and a fun place to catch a show. I know that this venue is considered a speakeasy but it really was hard to find. Anyway, I'd return if another show catches my interest. read more

Recently went to Paradise because my girl Aimy recommended it. She's white. I walked up with two of my friends who are brown girls like me and asked for ALEX K. I'm 5'10" 222Ibs and gorgeous. A white man with a manbun at the door claimed that he couldn't let us in the club because my girl SAV had on shorts. He told her to go around the Corner to Forever 21 and buy something else to wear if she wanted to get in. I sat in line and watched as they let in countless women who were thin, white/European. Not one person of Color was permitted to enter except for an African man with Clout. I called my girl AIMY who was already inside and told her what they were doing at the door. She came out immediately and called them out for being racist because 1. Alex K saw my picture and said he couldn't get us in and 2. she had on shorts and so did many other white women in the club. It was apparent that they didn't want brown girls in their establishment. Instead of saying "we don't want your kind here," MANBUN discriminated and used a fake dress code to prevent us from going in. He also proceeded to claim that we wouldn't get in because he saw my friend filming the incident, which she wasn't. He just wanted to say anything to prevent us from from going into the club which wasn't even crowded apparently. I've lived and partied in NYC on and off for 16 years of my life, and I've NEVER experienced blatant racism and discrimination as I did at Paradise Club on this night. 0/0 would not recommend for Brown Women. read more

I would not recommend this venue to a friend or attend again in the future. The service was terrible. It took forever to get any food or beverages. Nothing was brought out at the same time, for each person or the table. The food taste was okay. Nothing was really warm enough. We were never given napkins or silverware. After the show had ended we were all still waiting for our checks and credit cards back. The server just randomly added items to my bill. When I questioned him about it he mentioned the $50 minimum, which I knew, but since he never came back to our table I was unable to order more, which I had planned on doing. So had to wait for him to get the very small selection of candy to make up the cost of the extra he just added on, which was more than I would have spent. Also the woman next to me was only charged $18 for the tacos, not meeting the $50 minimum and not even paying for the wine she drank! The terrible service really took away from the experience at the venue. I will not be returning. I attended both shows and the service at the second one did not improve. It took over 30 minutes to get a glass of wine. My fries didn't come out until the last song (over an hour later) so I had to take them to go. And they were cold. read more

I really can't say enough about this spot, this was likely one of the most epic evenings I have ever had in NYC. I had NO idea what to expect and was brought here by my sister. I was skeptical, but after this have blind faith in future expeditions. This is a club post-show, but a few evenings a week there is an acrobatic show and dinner. There was so much food that I wished that I had brought tupperware. The courses, first of all, were unique. I was worried when we first sat down that the veggies with dip and crudites were all that I was going to get. Filling up on these was a BIG mistake. The seafood course was extravagant and so unique with the tower of treats that was brought out. Very similar to what you would get in a nice seafood restaurant, but far more unique. The next course was a meat course and we received gloves and a scissor to go to town on one of the most perfectly cooked cornish hens I have ever had. Succulent and moist, this was served with all sides needed for cute Asian buns with sides that were equally well done. Dessert was a whole show in itself as we received a full platter with a pineapple filled with ice cream and there was a candy cart on the stage for everyone to go make a goody bag. I found out that while housed in the hotel, this production is put on by the performers who regularly perform at House of Yes in Brooklyn (yes, that hip as heck club in Bushwick). The show is sexy and fun, it's a great spot to celebrate a birthday, anniversary, bachelorette. The menu and performance change regularly so will certainly be back! read more

I wanted to like Paradise Club. Initially I was impressed. I appreciated the music and ambiance. But after ordering one of their drinks (the drifter)...I was really disappointed. I thought to myself maybe it's a fluke, let me give the bartender another chance. This time I ordered a cosmopolitan. AND it was bad. The drinks are subpar. Only a blacked out college freshman could drink those drinks. I didn't even finish my drink. I just paid my tab and left. I could seriously make better drinks at home. Wanted to find a nice bar. To be fair I may be biased; I live in Portland, OR. Depressing and Disappointed is lightly worded. I do better as a patron. Not what I anticipate in NYC. ?? They charge $30 cover and say it's "top" off only.. nearly no one had anything out. Lame AF I was ready to have a drinks and spend time with my partner but then service and experience quickly showed me that I'd then be ready to leave within 30. DJ had good music.. but the girls had no rhythm. I assume this location based but could be COVID affected. Regardless still unacceptable. Drinks a ridiculous price. I include understanding the area charge but still.. also have to coat check required. A wonderful dinner and show experience for a special occasion, or to make any night into something hella special. My sister was in town and we went with another friend- totally great experience. Pro tip- you can totally dress up for this and be extra if that's your style. The show was full of unexpected twists, don't want to give anything away but it was lovely. Made reservations on open table for a group of friends. The place did not have a sign outside and you have to look for the building number. Once we arrived we were stamped and rode the elevator. We were seated at our table where some popcorn, nuts and beef jerky awaited us . Every few minutes a different but shareable piece of food came out. I found that some of the dishes were a tad too spicy for my liking. The show began promptly after the last dish was brought out. The entertain was amazing with a brief intermission to bring out some dessert, get drinks and enjoy some dancing. Once the show finished tables and chair were taken away. My sister surprised me by taking me to The Devouring while I'm here visiting from California. What an amaaaaaaazing experience! The food was incredible and felt like it never stopped coming. Best dishes in my opinion were the oysters, tuna tartare, and the ribs. The desert tray is also spectacular. As for the show, it was wonderful. Some of the acts are more simple (but still impressive) aerial acts, interspersed with some truly fantastic narrative storylines. The tree people were INCREDIBLE as well as the sideshow performers. Such a fun outing. I would never have suspected such a delightful and wacky show would be so close to Time Square. Highly recommend! read more

Even before you enter, the Paradise Club at the Times Square Edition bears a certain mystique that echoes deep for those who know any New York nightlife history. Let me start by saying that the show here is absolutely fantastic!! I was completely enthralled and entertained. The performers were amazing and the host was hilarious. It definitely put my entire group in the mood to stay and dance much later into the night than we anticipated on a Thursday night. The food and drinks were also delicious. The dinner is served family style and is comprised of a quite eclectic and decadent menu. The dessert may have been my favorite part though. Would highly recommend the entire experience. I was invited to a dinner & show here by a friend last week. Let me start by saying I try to avoid going Times Square at all costs. However, my evening at Paradise Club has me reconsidering this. From beginning to end, my experience was nothing short of unforgettable. Greeted with a delicious bubbly cocktail upon entry, I was so impressed by the design of the venue. Upon sitting down, we were presented with a variety of bar snacks, popcorn, nuts, pork jerky, vegetable crudites, as well as a drink menu and a menu card listing the courses that we would be served. Dish after dish came out as the show began and each one was decadent, innovative, and delicious. The service was incredibly detailed and warm. The performance was absolutely incredible! We were so charmed by the MC, and all of the talent was at such a high caliber. The experience was interactive and by the end of the show the audience is invited to dance on stage!! To know that a place like this exists in Times Square is so exciting and I cannot wait to return! read more

Gorgeous, talented performers and high energy dancers/aerialists are certainly the crux of this show (hosted by the alluring Kat Cunning). Loved the immersive feel to the space and the light design was especially well done. The mood is set from the moment you enter the hotel from Times Square and carries through the evening until your departure back down the designated elevator. This place has everything to be a fantastic club, yet it lacks class because of the poor service. The space is gorgeous. The ambience is good too. If you get a "VIP" table, expect to chase people off your table all night long as the security is too busy in the bathroom harassing trans people and the manager could've cared less. Music was fantastic, but the experience felt cheap, which didn't make sense because of the beautiful cabaret style shows and the bottle girls who looked perfect. Such a shame. Had a great time! The space is gorgeous, including a lighted ceiling that plays into the show and a really creepy wall mural that is a treat. It starts with dinner, which came out family-style, in regular intervals and tasted great. The waitstaff were incredibly attentive and we were sat at a table with an awesome group of people, so we had a blast during the dinner portion. The cocktails are *strong* (i.e. pure alcohol taste) so stick to wine if that's not your thing, but definitely order up a drink to go with your tasting menu! My friend had never seen a show like this with a dinner experience, and she was blown away. Thought it was the best thing she'd ever been to, lol. The contortion act and the straps duo are both fantastic and at a level that stands next to any show in the city. They alone are worth the price! For full transparency, I did not pay for a ticket and was treated to this. And I have to note that if you are an "insider" in this world or go to a lot of immersive dance/aerial/theater, you'll have to adjust your expectations. The performers are great, but the conceptualization and production have some challenges. It's essentially a small-scale version of Queen of the Night but isn't sure yet what it wants to be, from the tone, flow, host's song choices and the acts chosen. The costumes and production feel a little DIY or self-serious at times. If they started with their dark, sexy acts in the first half and consistently built to camp without going back-and-forth, i.e. just keep moving harder to the celebratory HOY party spirit all the acts could work together and the end result of club-life would be achieved. It's still in its' growing pains, so go in there embracing that. Again, the above paragraph really only applies to specific audience. No one else at my table was a performer or in this world, and they loved it and did not have these takeaways. I also loved it, would bring people visiting NYC for sure and will definitely be back because I love seeing shows like this more than once and how they grow.
