Okay, I freely admit I hate going to dentists. But I hauled myself in , having no dental work for two years. The receptionist was friendly during all the paperwork. The X-Ray tech was super gentle and put me at ease. Luckily no cavities, but I had to return for a "deep cleaning" Yikes! But no nagging or shaming about my limited teeth care. And believe me, I have had two different dental professionals chide me, and that's not right. I informed Dr. Mojgan of my deep discomfort with my teeth being worked on. She prescribed me an anti anxiety pill, which I took before the cleaning---helped tremendously. During the procedure, I listened to an audiobook; they do have a nature slide show on a ceiling mounted TV also. They provided a soft warm blanket--what a nice touch! I was experiencing some pain and went to Dr. Niktash for a resolution. I appreciate the fact that she could communicate with me about the situation with both honesty and compassion. Hi there. Scheduling an appointment with Paradise Dental was very easy, and I was able to get an appointment right away. The day of my appointment, the scheduler mentioned that the dentist was not feeling well due to getting a Covid booster (totally understandable), so we rescheduled for later in the week. However, before hanging up, the scheduler asked if I could come in right now to which I replied 'no' (also-- of the dentist is feeling I'll due to her shot, why is she asking to see me immediately?). Well, anyway, I showed up at my appointment today and requested to read through the documents I was asked to initial review. I guess very not very many people ask for this docs because they appeared out off by my request. Regardless, they were polite and complied. However-- I was not given a Covid survey, asked for a vac card or screened besides a temperature check. Hmmm...that made me feel a little uneasy. Then I was told that they had not allotted time for the services I requested. What a waste of time for both of us! I'm very bummed that the dentist did not introduce herself not let me know let me know what to expect from the visit. I can only assume based upon the other reviews that she does great work, but communication was poor. When you call for an appointment, make sure that their staff verbally confirms that you will getting the services that you request and the time frame or you might waste a whole afternoon! Lastly, the receptionist rifled through her paperwork for awhile only to give me the wrong paperwork upon leaving. This is an amazing dental office in terms of my experience and how friendly, flexible and caring it is. So, I give it a 5+ star to their service. To start with, Hani, the receptionist understood the urgency of my visit and tried her best to get me in right away. She even called me back after she checked my insurance coverage. I have to admit that I had forgotten to wear my mask when I got there. However, the receptionist respectfully gave me a mask and went over my Covid questions and concerns. Next, Dr. Niktash and her assistant Boris, introduced themselves nicely and went over my required procedures in details and gave me several options. Once I indicated my preference, Dr. Niktash spent about an hour and half to make sure that my broken tooth was treated professionally. I have not been to a dentist for a long time and was amazed with their technology starting with their digital x-ray, 3D mouth scanner and other neat equipment. The office is bright, peaceful and clean. It did not intimidate me and I was positively surprised with its atmosphere. By the way, during the visit, I enjoyed watching my movie of choice with a headphone which totally distracted me from the fear of dental equipment sound. I would definitely recommend this office to everyone and have already made an appointment with them for my daughter and wife. read more

Came in for the first time to see Dr. Niktash with a very sore molar. She was by far the most empathetic, caring, concerned dentist I have ever encountered. Her and her capable staff took care of my needs in a way that felt almost too good to believe. They put on overhead entertainment, went through to select shows for me to watch, earphones with a warm blanket, kept checking my comfort level. Dr. Niktash filled a deep groove in one of my top molars to decrease the risk of a cavity while I'm away at school. Dr. Niktash is extremely caring and thorough. Almost every other dentist I've gone to in my life has felt like a used car salesman and Dr. Niktash is the furthest from that. She is so compassionate and has been extremely generous and accommodating with me. The office is clean and the girl at the front desk always greets me by name. I brought my 4 year old here as well and he was having anxiety about being at the dentist, so she took the time to refer us to a pediatric dentist that accepts our insurance instead of putting him through misery just to make some money. I retired a couple of years ago needing to attend to a good deal of neglected dental work, and I chose to go with Dr. Niktash mainly because I noticed that she had earned her DDS degree at a top-ranking institution, McGill University. I wish more of my choices turned out as well as this one has. Thus far I have had a deep-cleaning, two crowns, two or three fillings, and two broken-tooth emergencies, in addition to check-ups and the usual cleanings (which Dr. Niktash carries out herself), and I have been more than satisfied with each procedure, all of which have been painless, problem-free, and (from my fixed-income perspective) remarkably affordable. As a professional, Dr. Niktash has shown herself to be exemplary in her competence and compassion. I have been most immediately impressed by the agility and gentle strength with which she works, and with the way she continually checks and re-checks everything while conducting a procedure. Both my crowns fit perfectly from the start and needed no subsequent adjustment - even the temporary caps felt unnoticeable. I have never left her office feeling any discomfort or strain in my jaw. I very much appreciate the care Dr. Niktash takes to explain options clearly and to situate them within the context of my own situation: her only interest is to help me determine a reasonable and wise course of action. I also very much like the way Dr. Niktash treats people. She is genial, wry, and exceptionally intelligent, and one notices kindness and decency in the way she speaks to her patients and interacts with her staff. I had a great experience. I was in California on a business trip when I fractured my tooth . I was referred to paradise dental by one of the locals. I needed a crown. I was worried because I didn't have enough time for dental work. The last crown I got in my home town took me 6 weeks and lots of pain. Dr. Niktash is wonderful--a true healer! She treated me like a valued person, and not just a way to make money. I was so happy with her that I brought my 90 year old father in to see her. She was both wise and skillful with his care--taking into account his age and health, and not trying to sell him a lot of expensive work that wasn't in his best interest. She considered his total well-being first. She is conservative and thoughtful about her recommendations, and carefully explains ALL of your options (not just the ones that make her money) I am so glad I found her. I had a really bad experience with my last dentist, who pushed a lot of expensive work that was more in her interest than mine. Dr. Niktash is not like that at all. She is a good dentist and a good person, putting her patients first. I trust her--and given my experience with my last dentist, that's really saying something.
