This is a cute spot with lots of thought put into the course. I do wish there was a little more standing room between holes. When we went it was very busy and golf groups got cramped up in the small space between holes waiting for the group ahead to finish. Great staff, clean bathrooms, easy to get to. Paradise Family Golf is the best place to practice the golf swing. They have plenty of bays and outback they have tee greens and a chipping green to practice your chip shots. There's a sand pit for practicing the shot out. They have golf pros and professional golf teachers if you want to take lessons. Highly recommend! read more

We took our grandsons, aged 9 and 6, to Paradise for the first time. They have played at other courses, but they felt that Paradise mini course was more interesting and challenging which they loved, especially the 9 year old. Having ice cream and feeding the Koi after playing was the frosting on the cake. We will be back! read more

A real hidden gem tucked in Middleton and it was worth the drive for a range session and a date night. I was looking for a driving range with grass tee to practice on as it is very hard to find in Boston and stumbled upon Paradise Golf! It was $15 a large generous sized bucket of balls. You need to pay $2 more for using grass tee's and the area was decent. The grass needs to be mowed down but can't complain since they are the few areas that offer this. The sun sets directly in front of that area so it can be a little blinding. They have a pitch and chip area! The driving range overlooked a pond of water so it was really fun trying to drive it onto the island. You definitely can't find this around Boston. The snack bar area was very fairly priced. We got air fried chicken tenders for a few bucks, and although it wasn't the best chicken tenders, it was a good little snack. To end the night, we played their 18 hole mini golf which has many cute features. There was a treehouse that you can climb in to putt! At hole 18, I hit a hole in one into the ski-ball and the parrot sang. A the staff member came out to give me a free round of mini golf which was such a nice surprise! read more

This place is fun! Coming with a group varied in age from 7 - 72, with one child on the autism spectrum among us, everyone had a great time! The koi pond entertained the 2 younger ones whenever they needed a break from putting the ball or got frustrated. There's also a driving range on the grounds. Two of us used the portapotty and it was relatively clean. They have an app for keeping score so they don't have to use paper and pencil; they collect the clubs to be sanitized between users. Definitely a great place to spend an hour, give or take. read more

When I pulled into the parking lot I saw two workers look out the window and run to shut the lights off. I really do like this place, haven't been back in a long time but that was not appreciated. This is a diamond in the rough. With the big and mighty Richardson's a short skip up the block with road visibility this establishment was unknown to me for the longest time. Well; better late than never! The course is very fun, the landscaping is beautiful and the grounds are in fantastic shape. Please note that one of the holes is hard to recognize as a "tree house" and myself and people playing behind me in the past have gone right by it. This same hole is also not accessible to anyone who can't climb flights of stairs. They have a "clubhouse" which features golf accessories and a concession area. The ice cream and Richie's Slush are very good. If you decide to eat inside they have a few small high top tables. Only complaint I have is that one of the people behind the desk (not of student age) maybe the owner; always seems to have an attitude. We used the wrong side of the scorecard on a particular day and went back to get another one to fix it. Her reply: "do you really save those?" with an obnoxious tone. Not appreciated; and yes we do save them. Check Groupon for savings before going as we have lucked out a few times. read more

At a superficial observation the place does not look so bad, but dealing with the owner is the major issue. There are really not enough words to describe his behavior, but I will try my best, to spare other people the pain. I used to take golf lessons with my son, 4 hours a week (make my spending in this place approx.13k a year), but it became clearer that when the owner decides to use the facility himself it's "f&$k the customer" and you can come back another time. He has a poor attitude, and he has no problem telling to your face "I'm the owner" which entitles him to do whatever he wants, putting his needs ahead of everything else. His relative Paul, another amazing character of the story, eats McDonald fries spreading grease all over the counter, walks around like a boss, talks with his mouth full of food and make this place look like a dump. I overlooked to all those issues for a long time because of the other employees, nice people who care about customers and the sport of golf, but they can't say anything when those two are around. This is so unfortunate because my son fell in love with golf thanks to their PRO, Steve, who is an amazing human being, passionate for his job and really focused on the best customer service. It was a pleasure working with him for over 2 yrs, but thanks to the owner's behavior we had enough and we will no longer bring our business here. If you want to be regularly treated like garbage by the owners of Paradise Family Golf, this is your place! Feel free to stop by, ask for the amazing duo "Mark and Paul" and be the judge for yourself. This place has 4.6 stars rating online... BUT look closer at the date of the reviews! Brief Condition of the facility: -Concrete floor is cracked and uneven, it a huge hazard and dangerous to walk. -heated bay... sure (when Paul decide to buy the gas, usually late November...) -Handicap parking? when Paul he is not around there are two, otherwise one only is available, since Paul (illegally) leaves his car there, or parked on the sidewalk blocking the entryway, with the engine running for hours at the time -Do you like birds? Geese poop everywhere on the green, people can't walk without stepping on piles of feces. -Is the golf house clean? Last time the carpet was washed general Washington was still alive. -The wood handrails are so old that splinters are guaranteed. Let's be honest, when you run a facility that is not top-notch all you have to work with is customer service and here they don't have it due to the poor management. Again, the only reason I was going back for so long were the powerless but amazing employees that were making the place look decent, but I am done and I cannot longer take abuse from the management and spend so much money. For the location it's in where there's not a lot of great ranges or practice golf spots, this is a fantastic range with a lot of extras including sand, chipping, and putting practice areas. Today; at PARADISE COVE "Family" Golf --Middleton, MA - the managers would NOT allow a patron - as people were actively shooting golf balls on a driving range -- to save this Blue Heron with a broken leg, directly in line of fire. I was called by this patron -- but before I could get there, a ball hit the bird so hard in the head, he called me again and said -- "don't come - he's dead". . When I arrived I saw 20 or so people hitting out balls within yards of this bird. -- I got the same ( strong ) interference from going on the green, by the managers - which I ignored. And I told them to call the Middleton police ( who were great ) -- and I got the bird who was stunned by that 2nd hit, but not dead. . I found out that the bird had been there TWO DAYS like that - JUST YARDS from people hitting drivers out. --- Multiple people had complained and asked them to help. Meantime the bird lay there - Stuck, unable to move and get out of the way, as people hit golf balls out . . The bird is going to Tufts Wildlife in Grafton. On top of the injuries, I have never in my life seen a bird so emaciated - I don't know how he is alive.. I really don't. . I want people in our area to know what kind of place this is ---that support, if not perpetuate such obvious animal cruelty. Great mini golf and driving range into a pond this place is awesome the kids love it and it's reasonably priced

I got a Groupon for this place a little while ago, and didn't get to use it over the summer, as I had intended. My boyfriend and I made our way up there this evening, and I was pleasently surprised at what we found! There was a practically empty parking lot, only two older guys at the driving range, and about four groups on the mini golf course the whole time we were there. We walked up to the shack, and I handed my phone to a young girl, who asked her dad how they used the groupon if you didn't have it printed out. Apparently when you use it for something that you can use over several visits, you really should print it out. Now I know! All the people we interacted with on the course were really nice, and patient. There was a guy with two young kids in front of us, and they were enthusiastic and happy to be there. The guy who ran the place later was telling them what a good job they had done, and that he was watching them and they are getting better and better. It was a really nice atmosphere. Very welcoming. I really want to come back soon, before the weather gets too cold and try the driving range - which has little islands that you hit to. Floating golf balls, ice cream and a cool mini golf course... what could be better than that? I'm glad that they did a deal on Groupon, otherwise I never would have heard of them, and I have regained my love of mini golf as of tonight! read more

What a fun experience! Off the beating path from Boston but worth a visit. 18 holes of mini golf with a wide variety of designs. Good value: 9 dollars a game for adults. Can get very busy but stay patient and respect others as you make it through the holes. The game we played lasted about 25 minutes. Half of the fun is watching and cheering on other people! The other half is finding all the secret passages and how to strategize getting that hole in one. Perfect for a date or for bringing the young ones. read more

Upsetting experience for my family and me. There was a large injured bird (heron?) on the driving range. A couple of people tried to go out and help it and the manager was trying to stop them. The poor bird looked like it had a broken leg. Someone, I guess the manager, ended up calling the police because he didn't want the people to help the bird. It was just really sad and cruel. Why would someone have a problem with helping an injured animal? Is this how Paradise Family Golf values nature? read more

Set well back from Route 114, if you don't already know Paradise Golf is there, you'll probably drive right by it. But if you do that, you'll be missing out on what might be the best miniature golf on the North Shore. The 18 holes are full of fun, imaginative designs and the difficulty level is right in that sweet spot of not super-easy, and not too tough. On the final hole, you will either win a free game by putting the ball into the center of a circle à la Skee-Ball, or an animatronic parrot will heckle you. That damn parrot has heckled me more times than I can count, but one day... one day, victory shall be mine. The koi pond out back is a nice place to shake off the urge to kill the robot parrot and to have some ice cream. "But I like Richardson's ice cream!" That's great. Hop in your car and make the 3-minute drive up the road and get your ice cream there if you must, then take a walk out back and try to keep your ice cream down amidst the stench of two or three hundred cows. Don't let the name fool you! This is WAY MORE than just mini golf and range. This is the best driving range I have ever been to. Grass tees alone are almost impossible to find in Boston, but the chipping/putting area with bunkers is an extra bonus that I can't find anywhere else, let alone for free. McGolf in Dedham wants $250 for a 3 month membership to use their practice green. Are you kidding me? At Paradise Mini Golf? Free use of the bunkers and with the purchase of any bucket of balls. Outstanding value. Where else can you actually practice bunker shots as long as you want to? It's never been busy when I've gone either. The floating greens are alright, most of them are too short to be of real use (30-60 and 100 yards) and are just metal floating islands basically. Nothing super special, but having a target to aim at while you're hitting balls is a big help rather than just smacking the ball as far as you can. I went here two weeks ago and it started downpouring like 15 minutes after I started hitting balls. They gave me all my money back even though I'd probably hit like 20 of them already. I bought a Groupon for this place and decided to bring my "Little Sister" here. She has never gone mini golfing, but she said she had fun here so that is a good sign. We pulled up around 1pm on a sunny Saturday and were surprised that it was not very crowded. As Michael M. noted, McGolf and other places tend to be packed, but there was a nice steady stream of people here. The people who waited on us were friendly and the Groupon was a great deal! You can even use it over multiple visits. Overall, the course is nothing too out of the ordinary, but the touches of water here and there were fun. I also liked that there were benches throughout in case you have to wait or have some tired lil' golfers in tow. My Little Sister was highly entertained by the "talking" parrot that greets you at the 18th hole. After golfing, we were able to use our Groupon for ice cream which was nice. The ice cream is Treadwell's and the small cup of Oreo that I got was yummy and creamy. The only funny thing was when we went to pay the teenage girl at the counter had to ask her friend, "Hey, what's $3.50 plus $2.50?" Tsk tsk. read more

This was a lot of fun! My partner and I went here on a amazon local deal I purchased for $12. It entitled me for 2 people to play a full 18 holes of mini golf and 2 ice creams. We arrived around 6:30 pm and the evening was mild. We walked passed the driving range where they had tees set up with islands in a big pond for the driving range and next to it was a chipping range. It looked like a great set up for those who wish to practice on their swing/driving/chipping game. We walked up to the counter when a young lady greeted us, took my cellphone recorded Information with coupon and her male associate handed me a club specific to my height and one to my parter for their height. Then we were asked if we would like to keep score (which shockingly I did, thank you countless hours in college playing Mario Golf). We picked our color golf calls and proceeded to the course which is right next to the entrance. It was 18 holes of fun mini gold no really complex set ups or what could be seen as impossible holes. The highest degree were par-3 but most being par-2. Most of the courses consisted of hills, curves, and some obstacles like trees and rocks. Only 2 courses used tunnels to send the ball off. The green on each course was decent for something open to the elements and not covered. I noticed no tears and the balls were quite quick on the green. The hazards on each hole were tan carpet instead of Sand. 2 of the last holes has sitting water in the cup which was gross as you could smell the stale water, but nothing that detracted from the experience. It made for a quick game and fun conversation as we killed about 35 minutes. At that time there was only another couple I noticed playing a few holes in front of us. When you get to the final hole it is the opportunity to win a free game. it is set up like a skee ball machine with a slope were you have one shot to get it into the hole in a rounded barrier which gives you the hole on one. If you miss then this parrot straight out of a fun house lets you know you missed. You only have one shot at it due to there being a raised lip where once you attempt to get the prize if you miss, Game Over! After we finished we went inside returned our clubs and were told by the attendant we could use the voucher for 1 small ice cream, 1 medium Icee or 1 Large soft serve. I went with vanilla soft serve and my partner went with a small Heath bar ice cream. I chose to get sprinkles/Jimmies (depends where your from) to which she charged me a quarter I gladly paid to have rainbow sprinkles to complete the experience. Afterwards we sat outside, watching people on the chipping range while we chatted and enjoyed our cooling desserts. All in all a wonderful experience, beautiful flowers and waterfall surrounding the mini golf course, makes for a great family outing, hanging with friends, or even a cute date spot. I enjoyed the look of Paradise, since they have really gone all out on the tropical theme. It looks "pretty" and the water running is soothing. It was enjoyable to spend time here - but, the "greens" themselves were needing maintenance, and more than once balls were hung up on a piece of AstroTurf that should have been better glued or fastened. We were there during the daytime, so I cannot attest to the bugs, but I can see where it would be a location that might attract them with all the water. Also, I wish they had two courses, since it got very crowded on just one. Finally, the last hole was a big disappointment after the others. The "clubhouse" does offer ice cream and refreshments - but I don't know why you would get these here with Richardson's down the street? The staff were very pleasant, and they also offer a driving range for "grown ups" that looked fun with islands in the middle of water...perhaps I should dust off those REAL clubs! read more

This place is great! Compared to McGolf, the only other miniature golf place I've been to in the Boston area, Paradise definitely takes the cake. The course is fun and challenging and the design/decor is festive and imaginative. I really enjoyed the little tiki huts and various waterfalls and fountains. No two holes were alike and none were unfairly difficult. I even managed to get two hole-in-ones! Advantages of mini golf in late September: no mosquitoes, no lines, no wait Disadvantages: too cold for ice cream (I'll have to return in warmer weather to try it and update my review) All around a great hidden oasis for mini golf! read more

Last night me and my girl friend wanted to for a late night mini golf for her birthday. Before we started are game we wanted to get ice cream. We got the s'mores ice cream which was delicious.
