It was clear that this was a company that took pride in every project they took on, and were not in the habit of cutting corners. It was also a very competitive bid compared to other well-known flooring companies. They did not disappoint. From a duration estimate, professionalism, availability / communication, and quality standpoint, we could not be more pleased. The leveling and floor preparation process alone was something to be behold. Previous to hiring them, I had idle thoughts of taking on our flooring as a DIY. But there's no way I could have done what they did in this leveling process. We had 3 different types of floors across this space, and before they even began the installation, the preparation / leveling could have almost stood as a completed "concrete" floor. I even joked with the installer that just in removing / leveling what we had previously, they had already improved the look and continuity of our flooring. In the end, we're extremely pleased with the vinyl flooring installed as well as the baseboards and the new aesthetic it all creates for our downstairs. Update:…read more Unfortunately I am changing my review to two stars. Our vinyl floors were complete in March 2023 and initially everything was great like I stated in my original review. We noticed in August 2025 that multiple planks were lifting up when walked on. We reached out to American Floor and Home and they swiftly sent someone to inspect. He was very thorough in his inspection and concerned at the condition of the floors/baseboards considering how recent they were installed. He put a claim in with the manufacturer Cali Bamboo. Since then, we've sent the pictures they requested, had their third party inspection complete, and still nothing has been remedied. We periodically get emails saying American Floor and Home is coordinating with the manufacturer and will receive updates as they come. It's been 8 months since this process has started and nothing has changed except the worsening condition of our floors and baseboards. Besides lifting, multiple planks now have cracks and chips in them. The baseboards continue to split between joints and now even from the wall itself. I've sent footage of the worsening damage and still nothing has been done to remedy anything. We spent a lot of money on this purchase and it's very disheartening that this is the response we are getting. Whether it's a manufacturer's issue or an installation issue, I'd expect some type of plan of action to fix this problem that is only getting worse the longer they delay it. Extremely disappointing.

The installation went flawlessly and took exactly the amount of time they said it would take. The results look amazing and they cut and installed quarter rounds in even the tiniest nooks and crannies which was so impressive. Sorry but it's a long but worthwhile review. I really don't like giving bad reviews since it can…read morereally affect a business. But I felt I needed to in this case. I called Anytime Handyman to come out and replace 2 damaged doors and install 2 new doors. I sent a text message to let Tyler letting him know my lock box number since it's a rental and no one will be there to let him in. I gave explicit instructions as to which doors needed to replaced. (it was obvious because of the visible damages). He sent me the estimate, I agreed and paid for the doors so he could order it. They went back to the rental, and installed the new doors as planned. Here's the prolblem, they took off the wrong door (not damaged) and put the new door on. Leaving the damaged door still damaged. That's not the end of it, the latch was not installed properly, it had a hole and crack. As for the other door that they installed, there was also a problem, the strike plate and latch were off centered and wasn't closing properly. I called Tyler to tell him the wrong door was removed and replaced, and sent him a snap shot of the text I sent him when he went out for the estimate, explaining which doors needed to be replaced. His answer was, that's not how he interpreted it. Everything seemed to be wrong with the job. From the wrong door being replaced, to the damages to the door and the other door's latch not closing properly. He said not to worry and it's normal it's not a problem, just let him do his job. Now I'm no handyman but I do know how to install a lockset, and I've never seen a hole of that size, nor did I ever see a strike plate and latch installed at an angle. In Tyler's defense, he did say if I'm not happy he would give me a new door. But at this point, my trust with their quality of work has diminished. Not even a new door would make me continue to do business with them. I will take that loss, and stop all remaining repairs with this company. Update: I read the business owner's responses to my review. First of all, the "so called Painter's" was my daughter and son in law who came over the weekend to help paint the doors, only to find the damaged doors and discrepancies on the other door as well, including the wrong door that was removed. I would have no reason to damage these doors that I had already paid in Full upon completion on Weds. Lastly, it speaks volumes when a business owner would illegally break a homeowner's right of privacy and send photos to anyone requesting it, without prior authorization. I stand by my review.

We recently purchased a beautiful townhome with ugly-af ceramic tile flooring lol. Not only was the tile dingy and outdated, but it was damaged and patched in random places, and we felt it just had to go. Once my wife and I decided to pull the trigger, I initiated a New Project via Yelp. Amongst 5 vendors scouted by Yelp, Villegas Flooring was the first to respond. Landen, Villegas Flooring owner and operator, was prompt to bid for the job and offered to meet the very next day to prepare a free estimate. Upon visiting our home, Landen took brief measurements and acknowledged the ideas we had in mind, while offering his professional insight. He had us rest assured that what we wanted was possible within a certain time frame, and even offered to make a list of the items we'd need to complete the job. This was a big help & definitely highlighted his desire to execute on customer service. To our satisfaction, demo and haul away of the old tiles, plus waterproofing was not a significant increase. Landen offered to waterproof for free, in fact, we just needed to supply the membrane. To save on cost, my wife had the idea for us to demo, but since Landen's quote came back INSANELY LOW, we decided to have them take care of the floors from start to finish. ... And let me tell you about the total cost!!! Not even kidding, Villegas Flooring was LESS THAN HALF of the other guys' prices OUT THE DOOR. Also, there were companies that were sourced from our Yelp Project that 1) didn't even reply, and 2) threw the job to another company. Weird. Anyways, we benefited off their decline because Landen & his family came to save the day. I hit a roadblock while on the search for the tiles I initially wanted. During my hunt, Landen provided other names of companies I could reach out to. He was really, super helpful. I ended up changing the pick of tile to make matters easier since all stores were out of stock. A beautiful 12" x 24" porcelain tile is what I eventually decided on, and Landen confirmed he'd install those at no extra charge. I made note of this because another company told me I'd have to pay more if I chose porcelain over ceramic tiles. All the material and tiles were purchase by us, but Landen even offered to go on the shopping spree and pick up as needed too. For real, incredible service!!! I just wanted to mention this as well since the other guys we received quotes from were CRAZY expensive (I'm talking $7k-10k more) AND they did not offer to assist in any other way besides demo and install. To say we were pleased with our decision is an understatement. I recall my wife and I feeling so blessed that we found a company that was not there to price gouge, but willing to offer support in our efforts to bring a nice facelift to our property! With that said, we absolutely LOVE our home now. It actually feels like ours! Just 3.5 days later, Landen had our 3 full bathrooms, kitchen and laundry room floors refinished.
