Best Flooring has a larger selection of luxury vinyl plank and better quality than available at the big box stores. Their in-stock availability for O'ahu was excellent. I appreciated the ability to order online and pick up less than 24 hours later. I was quite surprised that the online chat option was staffed by a real person located locally. I'm used to chat bots not really understanding the question, let alone answering correctly. I met the employee who helped me via chat at the warehouse. He was just as helpful there as he was online. I had my flooring installed through best flooring 2 years ago the flooring looked fine when they were first installed but now the tiles are starting to warp and chip. I thought I was getting a good deal, but the tiles were low quality. I had reached out to them if they could fix the issue but was told the company no longer did installation work they said they would recommend me to someone that could, but I never got a reply back after that. The best lvt flooring that I was able to locate so far is sold at a small flooring store located near to Home Depot - Best Flooring Honolulu. They sell 20 MIL wear layer luxury vinyl, have a lot of grey and white colors in stock on Oahu, supply matching color transitions and pieces to install lvp on stairs. No Aloha. I entered store dressed very casual and asking for quotes/ estimates. 2 staff in store and none acknowledged me as I entered. It appeared that they didn't want any business from me. Poor customer service and establishing rapport especially from the "CEO" Bory that want to do business in Hawaii. There is room for improvement for this company. Though stars show differently, Bory didn't seem very knowledgable. I had asked probing questions on material, labor, make design, and different aspects in flooring as I wanted to know what they offer from a face to face stand point. Bory and his company FAILED in ALL phases of a business. Borys answered my call immediately, and scheduled an appointment with me to assess my project right away. I wanted luxury vinyl flooring throughout my entire condo. He came the next day, and was extremely knowledgeable about floor, in general, and specifics to my apartment. I received a quote from him that same afternoon. I had some questions, and he was able to answer them immediately. The pricing is very competitive, and I loved the options of flooring in the showroom. They had exactly what I was looking for. They submitted the paperwork to my building management right away, and were always very punctual about getting back to me. On my start date, the crew arrived right on time. The entire crew, led by their foreman, Russell, were amazing! Russell sent me updates (with photos or video) throughout the days, explaining what stage they were at, how much leveling they needed to do, if any, and asking questions about my preference for little specifics, where I had an option to do one thing or the other. Communication was excellent! Always extremely professional, polite, and very clear. When it was all finished, they did a wonderful job with installation. I couldn't be happier. The floors look terrific, and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for quality flooring options and installation. And when it came time to pay the balance on my bill, I decided I wanted to buy a few extra boxes to have on hand for the future, just in case I ever removed my built-ins and decided I wanted to put the floor under there. We were waiting for a baby and in the last moment decided to change our old and nasty carpet to lvt flooring. First we were thinking to go with LIfeproof flooring from Home Depot. But on our way back, we saw Best Flooring Honolulu sign, and were sold on waterproof luxury vinyl tile that Borys offered us. I'm pretty handy myself, so I decided to install vinyl plank flooring on my own since I didn't need to glue it and it was a floating installation. Since we were given a pretty nice discount, I've had some spare money to rent flooring tools from the same flooring store. I was away on a nearly 2 month long trip and when I returned I needed to get the 22 year old living room carpet replaced before I brought my elderly mother back home from her stay at senior care. Simply the best! Those guys were prompt and professional about removing old floor and installing new one at our house. Our old floor had two layers of flooring underneath what caused it to be uneven.
