I worked with Micaela to replace the carpet in my apartment with laminate and had a fantastic experience. She was very thorough explaining all of the options to me, who has zero knowledge or experience with flooring, and even brought large floor samples over of my top picks when they came to do the estimate so I could visualize them better. The price was a little steep, but still fair. I ended up taking advantage of the ASB promotion and opting to rip out the carpet and glue myself, so I appreciated that they were willing to work with my limited budget. The installation went flawlessly and took exactly the amount of time they said it would take. The results look amazing and they cut and installed quarter rounds in even the tiniest nooks and crannies which was so impressive. My brother and I (front and back house) just got our flooring done by Abbey Carpet & Floor. I can't begin to tell you how happy we are with their work. The whole process from selecting the type of flooring thru the installation was awesome. Matt explained to us about all the different types of flooring available. I only leave reviews when I have great experiences, and Abbey Carpet & Floor was awesome. I was introduced to the company through Amano Construction, and they leveled and installed flooring in my condo. From the initial consultation, the process was never rushed, focused on service, and addressed any and all questions I had. My fiancee and I had an initial sit down with Janna, and during that first meeting, she answered every question we had while still providing a no-pressure environment. She suggested laminate flooring due to us having a dog, and made sure to explain the pros, cons, and things to consider in detail. We went over multiple samples to find the look that we loved, and she made sure to tell us about ordering and delivery times to ensure that the project remained on schedule. She even brought samples of both flooring and tile to the condo so that we could see what it would look like in the actual environment/lighting, which we really appreciated. Even when the initial plan changed (we decided to go with laminate flooring throughout the entire unit, instead of tile in the bathroom) she remained on top of everything, keeping the project on track. Once the details were finalized, the work itself went smoothly, which was very important to me as I was managing the process from another state. Everyone involved in the work was diligent and executed as instructed; I'd like to shout out Joe (lead installer) and Ikaika in particular. After the project was completed, Janna provided a virtual walk through, making sure to address things that had come up during the installation process. She was thorough, patient, and helped make everything as stress-free as possible. I really like the fact that the installers are actual employees of the company and are not subcontractors. They accommodated our scheduling by installing the flooring in 2 phases so we could move the bedroom furniture from one side of the house to the other with enough time in between so we were not rushed and stressing out. First impression was lots of parking, then a very clean showroom and friendly greeter at the door. Our dog and young son steered us to a stain & water-resistant carpet called SmartStrand Forever clean by Mohawk. Lots of colors to choose from and we landed on the mushroom cap. I didn't realize that the carpet pad was just as important as the quality of the actual carpet. Matt showed us the premium memory foam & moisture barrier pad. I was able to lay down on a large piece with the carpet on top and was sold! We had the carpet installed by a very professional 4-man crew. I had just painted the whole interior of our home white & all the trim was new also. I couldn't believe there was no accidental scratches or dings anywhere. That can happen to the best of us and we were informed it could happen by Matt ahead of time. Kudos to the crew! I am bad with names, but I remember the Uncle's nickname "Buddha". We purchased off white carpet that is supposed be highly resistant to stains because we have a pet. One evening during a windstorm, my husband accidentally walked onto shattered glass from a large art frame that had blown down. His foot bled like a faucet, and so we had a pool of blood and lots of blood droplets all over. I thought for certain the carpet was ruined. I sprayed it with some pet stain remover, and started scrubbing. Then I used a home steam cleaner, and voila, the carpet looks just like when it was freshly installed! Our journey began with my other half declaring; " Honey; We're not going on vacation until the carpet gets replaced ! Instantly I felt a tightness in my lower back as my muscles screamed, Oh, Hell No ! ! After recalling an appealing Abbey Carpet and Floor TV commercial, a phone call was placed. We were invited down for a free, no obligation sales consultation. We went on down to 560 N Nimitz Hwy #106 and were warmly greeted into Flooring nirvana. If you have no idea what you are after, or your mind is already made up; Abbey Carpet and Flooring most likely can satisfy your flooring dreams. Mr CJ Mirto was a pleasant, knowledgeable an informative sales associate. After we expressed our desire for carpeted floors he showed us many different styles and colors. It did not take us very long to realize the "Magnificent- SmartStrand Forever Clean Silk Carpet" is what we wanted under our tootsies. Then, Mr. Mirto took the time to also explain the M-Smart 15/32 Pad w/Moisture Barrier padding would be recommended should our beloved puppy dog have an accident ? ( She is actually a pet owners dream in this regard) We then set up a time for Mr. Mirto along with his trusty Installation measurement specialist, to come out and get the exact measurements of our place. They came out promptly and then Mr. Mirto e-mailed me a detailed price estimate. He also went on to explain, Abbey Carpet and Floors "DO NOT" move furniture in your place. It is required that you have the rooms cleared of any an all furniture before the Installers get there. Abbey Carpet and Floors can recommend 'Movers for Hire' should you not want or cannot move the furniture yourself. Mr. Mirto then explained they had a Special going on with American Savings bank, It would save us 400.00 USD if we paid our deposit with a ASB Check or Debit Card. (Perfect, since we bank with ASB anyway) The deposit would have to be done on a certain day, also not a problem since it actually could have been done on the phone. I went down to Abbey Carpet and Floor on that day and Paid the Deposit. I was also asked if I would like to enter a drawing for a New Vacuum Cleaner. I said, sure why not. Later on that day I received a phone call saying I/We had won a SoniClean Vacuum valued at 400.00. That is a 800 dollar in the black for us day in my book. We were also more than pleased the Installation could be done in Two Phases. Phase 1 would be the LIving Room and Hall; Phase 2: The Two Bedrooms. This was done 2 weeks apart. This allowed us to move things into the area not being done, so it was Extremely Welcome. We have a Condo so not a whole lot of extra place to put your furniture, Yeah ? The Instalation went smoothly on both of the Install days and our home is all back to normal now with lovely new Capet !
