She tailored our ride to how "spicy" we wanted to make it, so since it was our first time rafting, that made us feel great. The trip was the perfect level of excitement for us as beginners. It was fun, thrilling, and adventurous without ever feeling overwhelming. My sons, ages 10 and 13, had an absolute blast and want to plan another trip back. We even got to see a bald eagle along the river, it was phenomenal. The weather was perfect, and the whole experience was incredibly well organized. It's also just under two hours from Denver, making it a great day trip. We really appreciated the free parking, and they kept our car keys safely in the office while we were out on the river. We felt completely comfortable leaving everything else locked in our car. We couldn't have asked for a better first rafting experience. We would absolutely recommend them to anyone, especially families and first-time rafters. Definitely opt for the photo package too - the pictures we received were stunning and memorable. I have gone on two Denver Bike Bar tours in the past two years. I bought both of them (via…read moregroupon). These guys are pretty good with organizing everything. To redeem the groupon you will have to email them from the website, and do a little back and forth on date/time selection. They can be a bit slow to respond but its not bad. Just make sure to plan in advance! Day of you meet them at Blake st Tavern. The downstairs area has a nice gameroom and specials to get the party started. From there you bike to three bars (of your choice) and you get about 20-30min at each bar. I am sure you have seen these cruising around and the tons of fun people are having on them...it really is that fun!! They also have ipod/aux hookups for the sound system so you can play whatever you want. At the end you come back to Blake st Tavern (for a total of 5 bar stops) and then get a nice group photo...They dont allow booze one the bike bar, but you can bring Nalgenes so wink wink! Dont forget to tip the driver too..they always do an awesome job.

My CrossFit crew decided to rent one yesterday to celebrate the upcoming nuptials of two of our members. They have you gather in the lower level of Blake Street Tavern where they have $3.00 drink specials for Bud/Coors. I opted for a craft beer instead and paid full price. Our driver came down to get us all loaded on the patio with our cooler full of beer and helped stow away our purses and what not. That's when things started cranking. The beer was flowing into our solo cups and the music from one of our iPods was blaring through the speakers. Time to get this party started!! There are 11 seats to pedal, 5 lounger seats to relax and we even managed to get 3 people in the middle to have a quasi dance party. Definitely get ready to work as that ride is not going to get up those hills on it's own. Even with all the pedaling, we hardly noticed we were breaking a sweat due to the sheer entertainment factor. We only ended up making it to two breweries (Epic & Black Shirt), but we enjoyed every second of it. We even got our driver to shake his groove thang and we all played Chinese fire drills at red lights. I would highly recommend checking it out! I can't wait to do it again soon!!!

My husband and I booked a round trip ticket last night to Blackhawk as a parents night out. The way…read moreto black hawk was fine, on time and no issues. Driver told us exactly where pick up was in front of the Isle hotel lobby (we even saw another bus picking up there as we were getting dropped off). Fast forward to 11:10pm, we head back to the pick up location for the 11:25 bus...no show... the valet guy said it was probably canceled, but shouldn't we have received some sort of communication about that?! So we decide to not make a big deal of it, grab some food and wait for the 12:25am bus...we show up at 12:15, and wait and wait as we watch 2 ramblin buses stop, one of the Ramblin drivers even said that the Ace bus was coming right behind. Well we FINALLY see the Ace bus at 12:40am, and instead of heading right at the light towards the Isle, they take a quick left and disappear. We head in to the lobby where the staff tells us that if they turned left that means they were full and won't pick up anymore. WOW okay cool so instead of having the curtesy of letting your customers know that it's full, you just drive the other way to avoid us and keep us waiting in freezing cold temperatures. NOT TO MENTION MY HUSBAND AND I HAD A BABYSITTER WAITING FOR US AS HOME. We ended up getting lucky with a lyft, paid a fortune, and got home at 2am, almost 2 hours later than we told our sitter. We're just fortunate we didn't get stranded in Black Hawk before the winter storm. You bet I will 100% continue to try to get a hold of this company (oh yeah I tried calling at least 50 times, no answer obviously) and get every single penny of my money back. AVOID THIS BUS AT ALL COSTS AND GO TO RAMBLIN.

The even side had the gorge wall most of the way. Food is very good with fresh ingredients and nice flavors. If you purchase online with the ticket you get a free beverage. We had wine which was very nice. The mocktail pina colada was fantastic! We sat in the domed cars which gave a much better view of the scenery. There is an open air car that is available if you want to stand and experience the wind in your hair. We spent a total of approximately two and a half hours. We would definitely ride it again. Tip: there is a huge gift shop you walk through before boarding the train. This is after the gift shop where you pick up the tickets.

Expert guides with over 130 years of river experience between their crew. Now on to the water. Starts off a little slow but once it gets going it is on. Several category 3 rapids followed by a bunch of 4's with awesome drops all while navigating big rocks. You end with a nice comfortable float through a neighborhood in Idaho Springs Co. We were on the water for a good hour and half, so I suggest getting the wetsuit package as the water is always 38 degrees. Thanks Mad Adventures Clear Creek for a rafting trip we won't forget!!!

They have a strict age requirement of 14 and our 12 year old made that a challenge. Having done class 3-4 at Royal Gorge I would say this did not disappoint. It was constant and continuous adventure. I would have loved to kept going longer but like all good things they do come to an end. The 1.5 hours was mot too short either don't get me wrong. If you are scared of the cold don't cheap out--get the extra gear to make your experience better. My wife and kids did the gear. Since we were here in July in the water at noon I toughed it out. Don't vet me wrong it was cold and at times what I would have done to be warm. I feel the cold splash is a part of the experience. Sitting in the front I was also glad for a pair of sunglasses. They say this is some of the best rafting they have had in awhile. What really made this exemplary was the staff. They made you all feel like family. Zak in particular was our favorite. He gave the right balance of safety and firmness needed for a guide. He also helped my 70 year old mother in law work through her fears and continue with getting in the raft. She was reluctant as she only has one hand. Zak calmed her and gave her options. My kids also loved the bus driver Max. Not so sure they loved him ao much it was more his dog Willow. If you want a great and safe experience do it with Mad Adventures where they make you feel like family.
