Good accessibility, and a few photo-op places, too! Staff at both places (Fatburger and the station, where we had to buy one of our drinks from the cooler at Fatburger, because it wasn't their product) were friendly and courteous. Great burger! The XXL (1-lb) was two patties, thick and juicy, good flavor. The meat patty itself didn't have a lot of salt or seasoning on it, which I liked. Just delicious hamburger. I went with the toppings as they come--lettuce, tomato, mayo, relish, mustard, and onion--and it was a good combo with the meat. I don't think I'd do the relish again, though; it added a sweet, aromatic flavor to the burger I don't usually look for. All in all, I think this burger stacks up nicely with a Whataburger. The chicken sandwich wasn't as fat as the burger. Maybe ask for a double meat sandwich? Came with lettuce, tomato, and mayo. The kid downed it before I had a chance to ask for a second pic. Both the XXL burger and onion rings were super oily. The burger left a little pool of water and oil in the bottom of the wrapper (see video). Thankful they double wrapped it!! Managed to eat on the road with no problems because of it. The chicken sandwich wasn't as oily. The onion rings left a little pool of oil at the bottom of their paper container, too. Oh! They also have two kinds of spice sauces, I think for the breakfast burritos, but I enjoyed them with my onion rings. Good flavor on both. Red (more tomato-y, not spicy at all) and green (nicely spicy, fresh pepper flavor, not a crazy burn, lingers and dissipates nicely). Kinda pricey, at about $33 for all that, but I've got caloric fuel for the rest of the day, now! Thankful for this location and the friendly faces helping out here! God bless y'all!

Let me start by saying, I've never been to Sanger before, but was there and hungry, so looked for a…read moreplace to eat. I really wanted a burger, so tried here. At least when I was there, parking was plentiful, so went here and ate in my car listening to music. Also when I was there, no objections to them having 90s country playing since that's always a good choice. But now into the food. Let's start with the fries, since natural that's the first thing to eat (cold fries are nasty). I didn't like that they don't offer regular fries, just waffle fries. My issue with that is waffle fries are never seasoned enough and due to the shape, they tend to be undercooked or overcooked and rarely not one or three other since for the inside to be cooked, many times the outside it hard and too crispy. So they were about what I was expecting. Now into the burger. It doesn't use regular American cheese, which is a good call, though surprising since it's literally in the heart of a small town. But it tasted different, though in a good way. The burger tasted more like ground brisket, than hamburger meat and even had the right coloration. Overall it was a plain burger (wish they put mustard or whatever in the burger instead of just small packets on the side), but it was def the meat that set it apart from most places. The Smokey, flavorful meat was a nice change of pace for sure

I should preface this by saying I'm not from Texas (but am currently in the process of moving…read morehere). I decided to try it because it was down the street from my apartment. Something about this place just gave the vibe that they had good food. Maybe the slightly overgrown parking lot, the fact that there was nobody there, and the building was older. Anyway, I walk in and this random customer asked if I had been there before. I said no, and he said something along the lines of, "You've just stumbled upon a legendary burger joint". Some of the decor was a bit schizophrenic, but in a cool way. There was a car shell mounted to the ceiling, old movie posters everywhere, and a bunch of random decorations on shelves. I just ordered the namesake time machine burger and it was incredible. So good, I ordered a second one. Everyone working was very friendly too and the owner seemed like a really great guy. It's the slightly rundown greasy hole-in-the-wall places like this that always have the best food. I could never recommend it enough. They also have a burger with peanut butter on it which I've been told is really good, so I'll have to try that next time.

With the…read morevintage movie posters on the walls, college kids writing formulas on the walls, an arcade, pool table, and picnic-table-style seating, it has a fun after-school hangout vibe. For lunch, I ordered the #9 Love Affair burger combo with sweet potato fries and added a side of onion rings. The sweet potato fries came in a good portion, which I appreciated. The onion rings, though, were $3.99 for only 6 rings, and that did not feel like a good value. The burger patty itself was the perfect thickness and cooked well, but it had almost no flavor on its own. The only real flavor came from the add-ons I chose, which were egg and pineapple jam. Because of that, the overall flavor just did not match the $22 price tag for lunch. Cool local vibe, decent presentation, but for the price, I expected a lot more flavor.
