To sum it up. The quality of her work is fantastic. However, if you respect your time, I suggest looking elsewhere. Regardless of having an appointment - there is a strong chance of her not showing up or you having to wait an hour or longer. To break it down. I was on time for my first appointment, had to wait an hour before she was ready. When I needed a refill, I contacted her over the phone, she didn't respond to my question about availability, so I booked an appointment online for 3 days later - as she has provided that option, and I received a confirmation email. I tried to confirm via text again the day of the appointment just in case, she never responded until 11 PM that day - letting me know she was simply 'not in' today. I'm not sure how clients booking online are supposed to know that. The next day I asked again when she would be available, and then asked once more another day later - no reply both times. 2 more days later she said 'sorry' and asked about my availability, I replied immediately, to which - she never replied. I texted her the next day to ask yet again, she replied at nearly 10 PM - 'tomorrow at 5'. I tried to confirm before I left my house to see if she will actually be ready at 5 /received a reply 5 DAYS AFTER my appointment, saying 'yes'/. However, that day - I arrived to my appointment on time at 5 and found her working on two different people at once, telling me that one has 'at least 15 more minutes' and the other one 'at least 45 more minutes'. So that would be another hour wait for me. Needless to say - I left. Friends of mine recommended this place to me, they are still her current customers, as they are very happy with the quality of her work. They also shared having waited over an hour or her not showing up to their appointments. I do wish her all the best, as she is very talented. read more

I want to start out by saying I had a great experience here with Elizabeth last year when I was in Key West for 2 months. My lash extensions stayed on and looked great. I wrote a 5 star review at that time. I booked with her again this year and had an appointment 3 weeks ago. After asking me to come in 30 minutes after the scheduled time, which I was happy to do, my lashes looked great but within a week were starting to fall off. Last year she used the UV light but this time it was unavailable so not sure if that was the issue. I was happy to rebook at the 2 week mark and was going to follow up on using maybe a stronger glue. My appointment needed to be canceled due to her not feeling well. This I totally understand as well. I rebooked for a few days later on Saturday February 28th and at 11:12am that morning, she asked via text if I could come in later instead of 1pm to arrive at 2pm. Again, I was happy to accommodate this request. I arrived on time with her co-workers present but she was not there. After waiting 25 minutes I texted "Hi Elizabeth. I've been at your salon since 2p. Will you be coming in or should I rebook?" Unfortunately she never responded. Another client came in for brow tinting at 2:30pm to be done by Elizabeth. Her coworker was happy to do the tinting but had another client and couldn't do my Lash Extensions. She tried calling Elizabeth to no avail. I left after 45 minutes after my appointed scheduled time after no communication by Elizabeth. I can understand emergencies may come up, but I am writing this review two days after the event with no further response or apology by Elizabeth. Up front: I thought it was expensive for eyebrow wax but good experience I was visiting the Keys for a few days and had planning on my part did not get my eyebrows threaded ahead of time. I saw there was threading here and decided to do a walk in to test my luck. Of course my luck would have it they were busy (even for weekday); there was only 1 staff that can do eyebrow threading so she asked another staff if she had time to wax my brows instead and graciously took me. 7 mins later and $30 some dollars after, my eyebrows were good. I had theee most amazing experience at EnvyLash! I was a bit nervous because it was my first time trying powder brow. Yulia made me feel so comfortable and excited to start the process from the very beginning! I asked to stay pretty natural and she did just that! My brows turned out incredible. I even went back for my touch up and asked for a touch darker! She nailed the color both times. I am obsessed. If you're trying to decide if you should or not. This is your sign! Do it! Attached the owners response to my experience along with a screen shot of the appointment confirmation email from when I booked the appointment. (It says Victoria as I go by both my first & middle name). My appointment was booked as a classic full set. I didn't repeat all the info of my appointment as I assumed that information was present on my booking, that the person doing my appointment read said detail (regardless of just taking on as the owner mentions; it would seem good practice to fully read what your appointments are so you are ready and can prepare for it.) No where in my review was there a mention of work not well done, not good quality. Simply stating that I can in for X and it was not what I requested. Along with the unfortunate of my face & eyes having a painful reaction to the tapes used in the service. The visit laying there didn't have a "calm relaxing" atmosphere for me, my artistic seemed stressed for the words etc she expressed. Yes I can't see her cleaning, but as any pet owner can understand if your pet may need to go potty let it do so and be ready or in a position to wait till you can. It is kind as an employer that you allow the pet in your place, but just like children or any other responsibility outside the work place it is that persons responsibility to care or find care to look after. I have 2 dogs myself. I am a specialist is ER medicine in both small animal & wildlife medicine. I work long shifts, over night at times, & even do hurricane/natural disaster response medicine throughout the country. Making sure my dogs are cared for on a simple 16hr shift to a few days is my responsibility not my employers or anyone else's. So it is very sweet that you accommodate for your staff and go extra to call them in on days off to not disrupt an appointment. That is both nice. But as a person coming to the salon unfortunately these are still not maters that should concern them. Just like my personal problems should have nothing to do with you or your business. It's not personal, it's just stating how an experience went. Did I say "this is the techs/artists fault" did I say this is the salons fault no. I said this is how my experience went. For an owner of a business to respond to a review in such a way blaming a customer as it's my fault somehow that tape hurt my face??? That me as I mentioned in my review wanted to say something but was too shy to do so as this is a new salon for me I was nervous. Results in me being shamed for it? If you read these reviews please use your own judgment. Reviews are meant to help improve a business, experience, learn etc. I would understand such a response if I had used bad language, completely went off the rails or said something complete obscure. This was not the case and furthermore leaves me to leave you with another 1 star. (Also I don't understand why the name "Jamie" keeps coming up.
