I will never recommend Paradise Tinting to anyone. Mel Agbayani owner and operator of Paradise Tinting stole the deck lid of my mustang GT and did a very poor job Tinting the windows and windshield of my mustang. Mel is very unprofessional and rans a scam by not completing a job and stealing parts. A lawsuit will be coming down soon against Paradise Tinting. After looking tirelessly for a reputable window tinter, I finally found someone with the work ethic and quality that I give my clients. I called and set up an appt with Mel that was a good time for us both. He had to reschedule and did so promptly and followed up to confirm. Someone who actually cares it appeared, Im intrigued. Mel and his assistant show up on time at the set time and start on my most difficult window, a skylight centered above my bed, on a remote, with a screen in the way that had to be removed to tint the window. I usually cuss and swear on my annual removal for cleaning of that screen. Mel did it and put it back it with a few problems that he resolved. Perfect....I couldnt have done this so Im sure glad Mel enjoys his job. All the remaing windows were tinted as promised and quoted, and within the time frame quoted. Thank you to Mel for another amazing window film install on my car. This is the third car he has tinted for me in the past several years - I refuse to go any where else. I have an extremely busy work schedule and Mel adjusted his week to fit me in. He came out to my home and Yorba Linda and tinted my 1972 2002 BMW. This car is a classic in mint condition, and tinting it was a big decision for me. I wanted to keep it looking correct to its time period and also wanted to ensure that the glass did not have any damage as it is original. Mel assured me that he has been tinting cars for over 30 years and he had experience with this specific vehicle, so I had nothing to worry about. He was right! He installed IR film on my windows so the original interior would be protected from sun damage while keeping the windows tint color very light (it looks like there is almost nothing there). His work was meticulous - he completely covered the interior of the car before he began working and took his time to make sure everything was perfect. I couldn't be happier! Paradise Tinting is absolutely fantastic. I called in to get a price quote for my car, so I could get it tinted the coming weekend. After a quick response and an informative quote, I decided to have him come over not during the weekend, but the next morning. Mel was able to come to my work parking lot, sample some tint shades on my windows so I could decide, and then tint all my side windows, including those annoying tiny triangle windows in the back. After conversing with him, I decided on tinting my back window as well. The entire process was quicker than I thought it would be, and it turned out FANTASTIC. This review is for tinting an office and a car... I first heard of Paradise Tinting because they tinted the windows in my office building a couple of months ago. Rommel, I think he's the owner, sat down with my boss beforehand to go over tints and exactly what he wanted done for the office. He was very professional, easy going, and really catered to whatever my boss asked for. There were three workers who came in to install the tint, all were very courteous and mindful that we were still working (which was really helpful!). They finished tinting the whole office in a couple of hours, worked quietly, cleaned up, and were real professional the whole time. The office looked great! My boss and all of us were really pleased with their work. So, from there I kept their business information and got my car re-tinted because my old tint was starting to fade. Again, when I went into the shop Rommel explained the different tints, explained what is considered "legal" for tinted car windows, and all of their tint has some type of warranty (the warranty time depends on which one you choose). They were done in about 2 hours or so and it cost me $250. I'm really happy with the work and quality of tint! read more

I was too positive in my last rating, so I'll have to tone this down. Mel has tinted six vehicles for me now, as well as several work vehicles. The first was around 1996, the most recent in 2012. He uses top quality tint, knows how to install it and gives you a fair price. I've never had a problem, but he always tells me to call anytime if something goes wrong. He is truly a tint professional, he knows the tricks and will offer you good advice if you're not sure what you're looking for (like how dark to go and not get stopped all the time). If you use him once, you'll never need another tint guy. He'll even answer questions about things he didn't install, and explain why didn't come out right, and tell you the best way to remedy someone else's mistake. Once you use Paradise, you'll never need to look for another tint shop again. read more
