This company knowingly used a different turf than what we selected. It was only after we continually questioned them that they later admitted it, making a false excuse. Less than a year later, the turf started to come apart because it wasn't secured properly. Though still under "warranty" they said they would charge $250 per hour to fix their install. Don't take my word for it; read Elina's own words. Their quote was the highest we received, but we went with them because they seemed professional and offered a long warranty (which ended up being worthless). In the end, we seriously regret going with them. Lessons learned: 1) choose your vendors wisely, 2) if it happened to us, it could happen to you. *Update in response to Elina's reply: Rather than being honest and coming clean, Elina is doubling-down with a completely fabricated story about "temporary turf" (ask yourself if any of this makes sense?). The notion of meeting an event is also false as they missed that day by weeks and was no longer possible. Regarding payment/warranty, as you will see in the updated emails, it was agreed no further payment due to their unethical behavior, and the inconvenience of going through two installs at our home over several weeks only because they lied about the turf. (Elina -- just come clean. You won't be in business very long if you lie about your customers. Note, falsely claiming non-payment by a customer on a public forum is defamation/libel per se and you should be very careful making such claims). read more

My two projects were much larger in scope so I was looking for a contractor to handle the work. I am lucky to have found Elina. She was extremely professional, excellent communicator and her crew were hard working. She was very collaborative in the process. After getting estimates from landscapers, my husband and I thought we found the landscaper who will install artificial turf in our front and backyard. We had a great experience working with Paradise Turf recently to install artificial grass in our backyard. Elina suggested the appropriate turf to install based our needs and constraints, provided a detailed estimate, and the project was done quickly and seamlessly. The price was fair and she provided us with all the info we needed to have our HOA approve the project. The crew started on the start date and finished in about a week. They were great. The job is now done and we couldn't be more pleased. Not only do they warrant their work, they come out every 6 months to do a service and ensure everything will look as good then as it does now. We asked a handful of turf companies and Elina was one of the last ones we contacted. I was specifically looking for turf designed to not need infill, since I've often seen turf infill come up when people rub the blades. She came over with three such samples that are European imports and they were distinctively thicker and plusher than all the other turfs I've encountered. Other turf companies would say that some turf products don't need infill, but they say it just to sell the turf to you--not because the turf itself is designed to be thicker and plusher to replace the results of infill. (It is true that infill serves other purposes, but I only wanted something where the blades would remain more upright without infill.) She quoted me a reasonable price and Victor and his team came out to complete the job rather quickly. The only delays were due to the turf importing and the rain that prevented installation. They encountered some issues with taking my credit card payment, but they eventually figured it out and all is well. Definitely would recommend Elina and her team for their great product and value! read more

We learned that this is a small company - Elina and Victor are impressive in their service delivery model - it's easy to come up with examples. Elina is the Paradise showrunner who handles calls, onboards customers and stays involved through final billing. She's knowledgeable and coordinates effectively with Victor, responsible for service delivery. He started by bringing samples, answering all the questions, measuring the area and developing a quote; he made all the promises, like what you'd expect a salesperson to do. But then, Victor also turns out to be the foreman and hands-on expert on-site, working with the team to keep those promises. From excavation to clean-up, the appropriate number of people with the right skills worked eight hours without losing focus to complete the job in a single visit. We were impressed and surprised at the end to be informed that perpetual, every-six-month recurring upkeep visits are included in the contract at zero added cost. WE LOVE OUR GRASS. No regrets. No bugs in the yard flying on you while you lay on it and play. Looks natural and we get so many compliments from friends who come over. We got about 1200 sq foot of olive turf. Victor and Elina were very professional and accommodating. I had four bids and green paradise was in the middle of the bids. They were chosen because of delivery date promised, quality and customer service. Came in Tuesday 7/16/19 and finished 7/22/19. Removed old sod and dirt, barreled in gravel, sand, leveled it out, then grass etc... the steps are endless. Victor is the main guy I've been dealing with in regards to scheduling. You have to be patient because he takes his time so everything can be done properly and right. Which was a bonus rather than rushing the job. I will definitely follow up 3,6,9 and 12 months to keep you yelpers informed on the product and work. Victor and his crew assisted with relocating and anchoring our children's play-set as I did not want to do it myself due to possibly damaging the turf. Excellent job on that. So happy that I found Elina and Victor!! I met with a lot of different companies and decided to use Paradise b/c of the quick response, wide variety of turf to pick from, and availability. My job was ~850 square feet and Victor started and completed it in less than 4 days. What I really appreciated was the attention to detail. We use the lawn a lot especially for games and entertaining. Victor made sure to check in with me often. His crew is fantastic! Really good with the framing, area preparation, ground leveling. However, his strongest skill set is making the area look like one solid yard. He's an artist with the seams. He's done this for so long that he knows how to make the seams disappear. I did not have a good experience with Green Paradise. Victor is a very nice guy but he signed up for much more than he could deliver. I hired him to do my turf but when I told him I wanted my flagstone redone, he offered to do it for me. In the middle of the job he said he underestimated the job and ended up delivering a very poor and sloppy job that he rushed through. He did make up for some of it by helping me add a granite pathway which turned out nice in the end but his flagstone work was unacceptable and I told him I would need to get it redone. He offered to reimburse me, which is very nice if I ever get reimbursed, but I have yet to receive any compensation from him. If I did not make the mistake of letting him touch my flagstone he would have 3 stars. Sorry Victor. *edit: I never threatened with a negative review. Victor promised me to reimburse me, and I've been patiently waiting for months. My dad may have interfered but the final product you left me with is unacceptable. It was just hideous to look at. As a customer, I fully paid victor at the end of his job even though I was unhappy with it because he technically finished. He said he would reimburse me because cares about his customers happiness, but has not lived up to his word. I am also sorry that this arrangement could not have ended up better. read more
