First And foremost I want to point out that not only does the owner, Eduardo, personally visit for your price quote, but he was also here every day of the project working right alongside his crew. I had several visits for price quotes and Eduardo, by far had the most knowledge and competitive pricing of all. He even pointed out potential problems we could encounter in the future with artificial grass without easy preventive measures we could do ourselves... For example, our 2nd story windows made heat glares in some areas that could cause the grass to degrade more rapidly than the rest, but with a quick trip to Home Depot for some glare resistant window film we could easily prevent that problem. Eduardo only provides premium installation service, whereas other companies give a lower option as well. His premium installation however, is basically the same price as competitors lower levels. He is honest in that he says not only is the premium installation more durable, but it's also more efficient for his crew to install. Day #1 Started on time at 6 am, finished for the day at 2 pm. The entire crew was respectful of our space and neighbors. They kept the dust level down with water and worked incredibly fast! It was seriously impressive how much was done in a day! We needed more than just turf replacement: we needed an existing stone barrier extended between our new synth turf and the neighbor's lawns, we needed pea gravel, 1-2 inch rocks, and 2-4 inch rocks in different areas around the house to cover what was once bark which had mostly been blown away, and we needed the drip irrigation repaired in back. We chose Diamond Supreme Fescue for the front and he suggested the shorter Diamond Pro Fescue for the back where the grand kids were likely to run around. I had gotten two bids for turf installation on my front yard - one from California Turf Supply, and the other from one of the larger companies that has a storefront. Both bids were in the same price range, within a hundred dollars. But what sold me on choosing California Turf Supply was Eduardo. Eduardo was a single point of contact throughout the whole process - from estimation to scheduling to billing to installation. He personally shows up to do the work with his crew, and he remembers the details. (With the larger company that bid on my project, I had dealt with four people (!) - none of whom seemed to share their notes with each other and gave me conflicting information). Eduardo's crew works hard and fast. They finished the installation in a day and cleaned up well. The following week, I noticed some water leaking from under a corner of the turf when my irrigation turned on. I called Eduardo and left a message - he called me back same day and showed up later that afternoon to check it out and make the repairs. It turned out one of the stakes used to secure the bender board cracked an irrigation pipe.
