I really hate leaving a bad review for anyone, but I reached out twice to the company before posting. My husband, niece, and I went last Saturday to enjoy an escape room. This was our first experience with this company. I scheduled our room before hand and we arrived 10 minutes before our scheduled time. The first thing we noticed was that there was only one young woman working the front and she seemed frazzled. She said, "Oh, y'all are really early!" I told her that when I booked the room, they told us to get there 10-15 minutes early and we were only 10 minutes early. She then said that the group before us arrived late, so ours would be a little later starting. No biggie. While we waited, we went to the restrooms (no soap in either restroom!) We had to use germ X and that is just NOT the same. Once we actually got to the escape room (in a 5th wheel trailer), the experience continued to disappoint. The instructions were not clear and when we asked for help, it took our game master 5 minutes to come to the trailer! It was very unorganized and not fun at all. There were several aspects of the game that were not necessary in solving the case. We actually won the challenge, but the case did not recognize us putting them into the correct sequence. The woman said that we had won, but it didn't recognize it. The whole experience was a huge letdown. They have this huge building and we were stuck in a small trailer and we paid almost $70 for the experience! I miss Deadbolt Escape Rooms. They were always spot on! By the way, I did contact the company twice and I received one email back asking if they could call me. I replied with my number, but haven't heard anything since. read more

We really loved it, very fun time!! My anxiety was high lol but we solved it and made it out!! GameMaster Sky was so nice and helpful, we will definitely return for more challenges. I highly recommend the Office Agent 22 challenge room! read more

For every one that thinks there is nothing to do in Tupelo, give the Paradox Rooms a try! Don't be afraid! the puzzles are always just hard enough to be fun and the staff are very friendly and helpful 1 piece of advice, go with a FEW of your BEST friends. read more

We had a group of four play the holiday Krampus room. We enjoyed the aesthetic of the room, however, our group experienced several problems while participating in the thirty minute room. Before we went into the room, we were given a walkie-talkie and a flashlight. One flashlight was not enough for our group of four. The flashlight beam was not very strong, so there was no way for us to work on more than one puzzle at a time. There is no indication in the room of how much time is remaining. Also, using the walkie-talkie to ask for hints did not work very well; our host wasn't able to see us in the room, so we had to describe which puzzle we were stuck on in order to get a hint. The biggest issue was that several of the clues had not been reset from the previous time the room had been played. The door to a second area of the room was left open, and it wasn't supposed to be open until we had completed the first room. The second room was completely dark with a fuse box at the entrance. We flipped a switch on the box, but it had no effect. We got a hint which told us to look for fuses to put in the fuse box. We spent about 15 of our 30 allotted minutes looking for the fuses, but it turns out that they were already in the fuse box. They were supposed to be hidden around the room, but the room had not been reset when we started. We finally decided to try the switch on the fuse box a few more times, and it finally turned on a blacklight. We were really excited about the room, but overall were not happy with the actual experience. The room had great potential, but unfortunately the problems with the room not being set up properly and having trouble communicating with the host ruined our experience. The thirty minute rooms are the same price as the hour room, and unfortunately about half of our time was spent searching for items which hadn't been reset. When our time was up, we told our host the problems we had with the room not being reset before we started, but we didn't get an explanation or an attempt to remedy the situation. We've done multiple rooms with Paradox before, but this visit has us questioning if we'll return. *This account name is just an anonymous name. read more
