His pricing was very fair, and I decided I wanted to use their services same day if possible. And we did! He had everything he needed right in his truck which I appreciated. He immediately got to work setting traps, placing commercial-grade black boxes, clearing cobwebs, and spraying for bugs. Even better, they use kid- and pet-friendly practices, which gave me peace of mind as a mom. The next day, after we caught two rats overnight, I called again to ask if it was possible for more traps. AJ answered the phone quickly and was just as helpful--they arranged for more traps to be delivered the very next day and even offered same-day disposal if we needed it. Not only is the service top-notch and incredibly responsive, but it's also a small local business--which makes supporting them feel even better. Paragon is extremely professional yet very personal. Dan understands the business of pest control, having worked in the field for years before opening Paragon. (He has serviced our home for about 12 years now if not more.) We have always found him trustworthy to have on our property and an honest businessman. He is very knowledgeable about dealing with ants, spiders, rodents, infestations and the like and more than happy to come out for special treatments in between regularly scheduled services if the need arises. Any time I've asked him questions he's always been happy to answer them and explain prevention methods that might help us. His prices are very competitive as well. Truly look no further than Dan! Living in Temecula near a lake you never know what kind of bug, spider or ant problem you are going to run into. Well guess who knows, Dan! He is always on time, has the most knowledge on how to rid bugs, spiders, ants and in a way that is not harmful to the other creatures around such as our friendly little lizards. We moved into our home and he was the first person I called based off the wonderful reviews here on yelp. In between services when I have an ant problem or any other issue, he is there the next day, which is totally unbelievable to me! Before I knew about Paragon, I used another pest control company in the past and had to wait as long as three weeks for someone to come out and help me with an ant attack. Correction: Dan's last name is Hazen. :+) Dan Franklin has been taking care of my pests for several years. He's a really nice guy, reliable, thorough, and timely. I appreciate the appointment reminder notices sent via text and email that come several days prior to the service day. I was having rat problems and asked if there was something Paragon could do. He was quick to explain what they have and do to eliminate. I believe it's been about a couple of years or so (time flies). There are times he needs to replace the packs and documented on my monthly service report. The best part of this, is if a rat is to be found, it does not smell. The only reason I stayed with the previous company as long as I did was because of Dan's professionalism and customer service. Was recommended by another company that did not come out to where I lived. I called him and received a call back so quickly. He not only answered all my questions on the phone but also texted me later with more information. He showed up the next day not only on time but texted to let me know he was on his way. He walked me through all the products, what he was going to do in and outside the house, pointed out problem spots with some foliage around the house. He treated the house, set up an action plan and we signed on for a continuous plan with him. He cleaned out cobwebs from places our last service never even bothered with. On his own back went he went an Advocated for my business when he noticed that the Certifiers weren't following guide lines and they wouldn't listen to me. Ben didn't ended getting any work from us because he was right. Our building didn't need a termite spray. He didn't even want to invoice us for his time. This is definitely a five star operation. I've tried those large pest control corporations that have you wait for several days before they can have someone come out during an emergency. I called Dan late on a Friday afternoon, with a major ant infestation, affecting multiple rooms. Dan arrived in 20 minutes, spent about an hour, and I haven't seen a single ant since. Dan the bug man is what my kids call him. We're on his quarterly plan, and then he comes out any time I text him in between normal visits. No questions asked.
