I’m a native Texan who took a long path home. After serving in the military, I moved to Alaska to work in the oil fields, where I met my wife and began learning the ropes of business ownership. While living up north, we discovered how much we enjoyed creating the warm, magical feeling that great lighting brings to a home. What started with lighting our own house eventually grew into helping others do the same. Over time, we began working with permanent lighting systems and commercial-grade materials built for tough climates. That experience taught us how to design lighting that looks clean, performs reliably, and adds real curb appeal. Now back in Texas, Frontier Outdoor Lighting specializes in custom landscape lighting, architectural lighting, permanent roofline lighting, Christmas and holiday lighting, and projection mapping experiences. We continue to sharpen our craft through our Landscape Lighting Secrets membership and training through vendors including BlueHopper, Illumibot, and GardenLights. Our goal is simple: make your property look its best after dark while treating your home with care and respect. Whether you want to highlight your architecture, brighten outdoor living areas, add year-round roofline lighting, or create a standout holiday display, we’d be honored to earn your trust.

Whether you need apples or worms Walmart has the goods. It's a super store alright, (guns/ammo,…read morepaint, produce, clothes, jewelry, decor, bedding, furniture, optometrist, kitchen goods, electronics, food, plants, gardening equipment and a pharmacy). It's usually very clean and orderly (during renovations are the exception) and the staff are super friendly, some even very helpful despite lacking actual knowledge of products. It's not your typical Walmart crowd here, mostly well-to-do lake residents or weekenders up for a visit. Oh sure the occasional snaggle toothed obese back boobed tattooed methadone trailer queen wearing a torn tank top & spandex pants will limp in to score some beer & beef jerky, but overall it's a very respectable crowd of middle age to elderly shoppers. Reckon my only gripe would be the snail's pace at the pharmacy. Those nice staffers must have been trained by the California DMV and are self medicated with SlowMo syrup while watching the clock for their next break. Folks be waiting there so long they end up buying deodorant & pillows to wait out the long stay on the bench. Lots of reasons it's so slow, but dang... if you're in pain this wait is excruciatingly longer than necessary. Bring a hard cover book cause no electric device will last long enough. Seriously! Love this Walmart, but for really fresh produce I'll drive to Kroger or HEB. Overall this Walmart is perfectly convenient and prices are good. Yeah, it's a lot of China quality stuff, but realistically it's Walmart... not Macy's or Tiffany's. Y'all gets what youse pay fer!

We hadn't been in years, and we thought it would be a fun family trip to revisit a store we used to enjoy. When we first arrived, we were greeted warmly by the store manager, Christi, who was kind, professional, and had a genuine smile that set the right tone. The store was not busy, so it was fairly quiet, and you could easily hear my children's laughter echo through the aisles. My son is four--curious, energetic, and, like most toddlers, has a knack for exploring things he shouldn't. My one-year-old daughter giggled as he climbed into one of the large bins--yes, the sturdy, weight-bearing type designed to hold storage items. Of course, as any parent would, I told him to get out. He didn't listen immediately (because, well, he's four), but he wasn't hurting anyone or causing damage. Had anything happened, we're responsible parents and would've made it right. That's why I was completely shocked when an employee named John came marching from the opposite end of the store with a stern, unpleasant expression. Without so much as acknowledging us--the parents--he looked directly at my children and said, in a sharp tone, "Hey kids, get out of there because if you break, you buy." Then he turned and walked away. Not only was this incredibly unprofessional, it was completely inappropriate to speak to someone else's children in that manner. You don't approach toddlers with jargon they don't even understand. You address the parents first. His tone, body language, and delivery made the situation feel unnecessarily hostile and condescending--especially toward two very young kids who were simply being kids. Whether John was having a bad day or just lacks basic customer service skills, it was unacceptable. It left me embarrassed, upset, and frankly appalled that this was how a paying customer and her family were treated--especially in a store that prides itself on organization, sophistication, and service. Although Christi was not aware of what had happened during our visit, her calm and gentle spirit at checkout reminded me what great customer service should feel like. She treated us with genuine kindness and professionalism, completely unaware of the negative experience we'd just had with her employee. Unfortunately, her warmth wasn't enough to undo the damage caused by that interaction. This experience has completely changed how we view this location, and sadly, it will be the last time my family and I shop here. I sincerely hope The Container Store addresses this type of behavior and ensures no other family is ever made to feel the way we did that day.
