They were suggested to me by family when my primary mechanic was busy. There is no labeled key drop here, which is confusing for new customers. When I dropped off the key at opening and explained the full circumstances of the car, the mechanic there suggested that the problem might be something that it clearly wasn't, given the details, which made me question their expertise. The work took about 4 hours, and I wasn't given much detail about it, except my suspicions were confirmed that the problem was what I thought, and he fixed that problem. In picking up the car, I get the equation "400+32.50=432.50" as the entire detail for the parts and labor that went into my vehicle. No mention of cost of labor, services performed, parts used, hours of labor, nothing. The mechanic that worked on the car was not there, and the remaining mechanic did not know what he had done to the car. I had already paid, and an itemized invoice was offered to me for the next day, but obviously, this could be made so that it matched the amount I was charged. What struck me as the oddest thing was that they seemed to think that it was normal to not give any detailed information about what they've done. They are either dishonest, unprofessional, or evading taxes, and I don't like any of those options.

Before making an eight-hour trip each way, I specifically asked them to tell me about every imperfection because I did not want to be out there and be surprised by anything because it so far. I was told by Steven that the car was in "perfect condition." I was assured repeatedly that it was exactly as described. Based on those representations, I invested significant time and money, including travel expenses and a hotel stay, to come see the car. When I arrived, the reality was completely different. The vehicle was covered in dozens of small scratches and dents. On every single panel of the car. Even the roof! It looks like a tree fell on it probably where the large branches didn't hit it, but all the small ones did. Or it got run off the road into brush or the like. Calling it "perfect condition" was not just inaccurate--it was blatantly misleading. It was obvious that the car had substantial cosmetic damage that anyone could see immediately. Steven was unpleasant to work with. He was pushy, snobby, entitled and just plain rude sometimes. After getting T-boned by a car at 50mph into my drivers side door, my car was totaled. I was trying to figure out transportation to New York. He impatiently told me to "just drive it. It's not that far." 15 HOURS. He also told me I couldn't have an auto delivery service pick it up because "I had to sign for it in person." He also told me I could only come on days when he was there and gave me HIS schedule for me to work around?? He also went on about needing to schedule all appointments that "it was rude to just show up to a used car dealership." Ummmm I'd been car shopping at a dozen prior and they were thrilled when a customer pulled in - even without an appointment. He informed he "He didn't know where I went to, but he's a professional." And that's just the highlight reel of correspondence. After leaving without the car, to make matters worse, when I requested the return of my deposit, the dealership was unresponsive and difficult to deal with. Communication became sparse, and obtaining a refund was far more complicated than it should have been. This experience was frustrating, costly, and incredibly disappointing. I would strongly caution anyone considering doing business here. If you value honesty, transparency, and basic customer service, look elsewhere.

Had a flat tire on my car and called State Farm for roadside assistance. At 2 PM the call was…read moreinitiated and by 4 o'clock I had not heard back from any agent or when the estimated time of arrival for a mechanic to help me with my tire. I called State Farm once again and within two minutes I received a notification from Delarms Auto Body they will be here within 10 minutes. In less than 10 minutes the truck pulls up and the gentleman was able to change my tire and put my spare on. Without their help there was no way that tire was coming off the car. He had to use a four-way wrench with a pipe extension to put enough force to get the Lugnuts off the vehicle. I would've never been able to make that repair on the roadside especially on a dark one lane road. Delarms were quick and professional. If you in a jam give these guys a call. I took it to Sharp Transmissions because of the reviews and its a transmission shop. I work on my truck as much as I possibly can but dealing with repairing a transmission is out of my wheel house. I dropped off the truck in the morning and I got a call about 2 hours later. Milt told itme he had inspected the car test drove and it was not the tranny it was the power steering pump that had a small not noticeable leak but the fluid resevoir was almost dry and that was the noise I was hearing coming from the truck. He added power sterring fluid and solved the problem but let me know it something that will need attention down the road. I thanked him I picked up my truck later that evening. Drove the truck home ran like a charm. I will certainly take it to him again when I need work done. I appreciated his honesty he could have told me I needed a new transmission instead I got a honest and fair evaluation and fix. Thanks Milt glad to see that there are still good folk out there. The AAA tow truck operator asked me where I wanted it to be towed, and I immediately said "Sharp Transmission." The dropped it off and put the key in the after hours slot. Next day,I called Milt and said, take a look and give me my options. No rush, I said, since I have other cars I can drive. Milt and his crew found some time to not only diagnose the problem (two rubbng hoses put a hole in one), but to repair the problem. Same day! I picked the car up this morning and it is working perfectly. Like I said before, if you are not taking your car to Sharp, you should start doing so. Yes, I'm a genius. We're from Illinois and pulled in HP Auto at 4:30 needing help securing the bent awning so we could drive home. I was at his mercy. In about 45 minutes he got it all secured. This is the good part; he could have charged me $450-$500. That's about what I expected. but no, he thought about it and charged me $89. Mike, you saved the day for me! You're a Saint!
