    They sell junk cars and are ass holes…read more I showed up on the lot. I've been in a car wreck and needed a new car to start my new job. I'm walking around and one of the guys is just standing there on the porch watching me. I GREET HIM. I GO UP THE STEPS. I ASK HIM FOR GOOD DEALS. He muttered non stop and just went in his office letting me look. Should've been a tell tell sign but I still bought a car bc I was desperate. The car was a POS, been driving it a month and I have to do a ton of work to get the car in good shape.

I don't have the money to pay my insurance and my payment all due to me already having to buy a new thermostat and a brand new battery and a CTS. All together it has coated me 1500 down. 365 a month and I've had it for 5 weeks and I already put close to 950.00 in it. And theu won't even give me a 2 day break until I get paid to pay them. I called them the very next day and told them they need to switch it out. And they told me. Im shit out of luck. This is the worst business place ever. I do not recommend anybody coming there to buy a lemon. I promise you will get screwed.. I know lots of friends in the auto sales fields My mother worked for toyota dealership for 26 years and she even told me I was stupid to buy a vehicle from them before I even bought it. Please dont waste your time and your money. Oh and they are self ritious assholes. I drove 4 cars on a test drive and everyone had a problem. My wife and I bought a fantastic Ford F-150 5.4 v8 triton,two days later the truck would not start,I understand that there is some kind of warranty,I called skyline Motors and Vince the owner,drove out to my house with his own wrecker,had towed it to his mechanic, from what I understand Vince had him replace everything to do with the fuel including the fuel pump which I know does not come cheap,and they also found a wire issue and fixed that to,than Vince the owner personally delivered my truck back to me at my house,before Vince left he shock my hand and told me he wasn't charging me ANYTHING for all he had done and done for the truck. Vince could have been like most other car dealers and tell me I bought it,it's my problem now,but he didn't,he went way above and beyond what he needed to to make my wife and I happy with the truck,I would DEFINITELY buy another vehicle from him in a heartbeat,and I actually have one in mind lol. Fred-Anderson Toyota inflates prices, and then lies to customers, so they are not worried about selling. There is an average 20% markup to their pricing strategy. Be sure to look up book on any car you are interested in BEFORE speaking with anyone at the dealership! The dealership engages in the standard cars.com and autotrader aggregator trick where they list a vehicle in multiple locations from Raleigh to Asheville! Be absolutely sure to find out where a car is physically located before going to any Fred-Anderson location. Finally, this is my third attempt to purchase a car from Fred-Anderson. I have been through pairs of salespeople, and a Finance Director and have found the entire staff, from the 'Director' down to the service people to be basic, backwoods, mountain folk. I wouldn't bring business here unless you want to be cheated, lied to, and offended by good 'ol boys. In 15-years of professional service and business, and routinely purchasing 4 cars yearly, I can say with knowledge and experience that Fred-Anderson Toyota is one of the worst car dealerships on the eastern seaboard.     We bought a good car here but screwed up the registration and refused to call us back. They say…read morethat they are too busy. If you schedule a test drive, multiple people will call you to try to sell you financing "on the car you are going to buy." "Buy? I've got to drive it first, Buddy." They also gave us a faulty fob to operate the vehicle and told us we just needed to replace the batteries. If you test drive, be sure to set your appointments as early as possible. I think noon is the earliest window. Even if you get one at noon, you'll be waiting 30 minutes before anyone talks to you. If you make the mistake of getting one at 1pm or later, you'll be waiting for at least an hour. If you plan on buying a car, be sure they fix any issues with the vehicle BEFORE you write a check, otherwise they will just blow you off. In brief I like the low pressure, the price you see is what you pay (plus the $600 "service fee"). But like so many places, once they get your money they could care less about you. They can't call once about a problem you are having due to their negligence but if you schedule a test drive, you will have at least one person calling you every day to try to sell you extended warranty coverage or sell you a loan. You'd be better served getting a loan from a bank. This place charges you excess fees to facilitate loans.

    Stay Away From Nissan in General and Fred Anderson Nissan in Particular…read more I own a 2020 Nissan Leaf. I bought it used from Fred Anderson Nissan and fast charging has always been an issue as the CHAdeMO charger works well in Japan but not in the states. Since November 2024 there has been an issue with fast charging possibly leading to vehicle fire and we are unable to use a fast charger on the car. What was extremely limited (only at certain Nissan dealers) is now not possible. While a software fix was supposed to be forthcoming none has been offered. Whenever I call Fred Anderson Nissan I am told that they will call me back with an update and to date I have never received a return call. Two weeks ago I again called Fred Anderson Nissan as my sister and brother in law were visiting from Winston Salem. Although they now live only a couple of hours away, driving to see them is not possible without the ability to fast charge the car. When I called Fred Anderson Nissan the week prior I asked if it would be possible to get a new battery pack to fix the problem as I read online that some dealerships have been providing that for free to fix the problem. I was put on hold and when they got back on the phone I was told that I should bring the car in for servicing since "my battery was not holding its charge". I told her again of my asking if a battery pack could fix the problem and I was told the issue was being escalated and I would hear back from Fred Anderson Nissan. When no return call was received, I called for Nissan corporate. They offered no solution or remedy and said the question about the battery pack would be handled by the local dealer. They said they would have Fred Anderson Nissan call me back and when there is a remedy for the battery recall Fred Anderson would be in touch with me to schedule service. One week later and still no call from Fred Anderson Nissan. In fact, the only time I hear from them is through a text or call when they want to give me a great deal on a trade in for a newer car. I am appalled by the lack of concern from Nissan in general and Fred Anderson in particular. Update: The day after my wife's birthday she received a call wishing her a happy birthday. Since they have my cell phone I explained again the situation with the recall. Here is a text chain with Ashelie at Fred Anderson Nissan. A-Hey Ian! It's Ashelie at Fred Anderson Nissan. I spoke with Mark our preowned manager. He said that you would need to go into service for that issue. I-Please have him call me to explain what service I will need and if it is free. A-You would just need to call service and tell them what is going on and make an appointment. Service may be able to tell you if it is covered or not, I am not able to see what warranties/extended warranties you have. I-I am not going to set up service without understanding what the service is that I need. I-I'm waiting to hear if there is a covered remedy for the battery fire risk or if I can be reimbursed for my recent car rental. I-I don't need service I need a remedy to my problem. A-You bought the vehicle two years ago, correct? If you had came in within 30 days of buying letting them know it did not work they would have taken care of it completely. You need service to figure out why it is not working. A-No, they aren't going to reimburse you for a car rental. Unless you have a warranty that would cover that. If you have any other questions you can call and speak to service or a manager. Have a great night. I-Nissan issued a recall notice of potential fire from fast charging. They told me the problem and I am waiting for the remedy. A-Call service. 1/14/26- A week ago I called the number for the GM in response to his reply to me review. I am a 75 year old woman in an auto parts store , and I did not really expect to receive much attention or service. I was pleasantly surprised !!! They never left my side one moment . They worked diligently until my problem was solved. I purchased Bosch blades for my partner, motor oil, repair of old blades, and a couple of extra blades for my car. The following adjectives are just a few to describe Sal, Donnie and Jeremy: friendly, kind, considerate, knowledgeable, energetic, motivated, informative, eager, thorough, attentive, skilled, technical, engaging, well mannered, personable! They earned my loyalty to OReilly for all my automotive after market needs. I think of them as friends. These guys exceeded every expectation ! I am a fanatic about good communication and coordination in business , having run my own corporation for forty years following my fathers untimely death.
