I call on a third or fri and ask for an appointment for an xray the following week. You don't need an appointment just walk in Mon, Tues etc during business hours. I go and the first thing this young lady says to me is "nobody is here to do an xray today !" I explain I was told I can "walk in anytime" during these hrs./days. They call u early in the morning to confirm your time with you and then when u get there 10 mins early they are behind and they are taking late comer and now your appointment is pushed back. Knowing damn well that person should have gotten rescheduled. So what's the point of call two to three times to confirm appointment. I feel terrible giving anyone 1 Star. This place has employees who are surprisingly unwelcoming. They are beyond rude. There is NO sense of keeping appointments. I waited for 2+ hours. The place is Dated, it has old equipment and the technicians are eating while doing the mri. Many times they on facebook and multi tasking. Its just a bad experience.. wish I have never gone there. There are lots of accident patients there, it seems they have relationship with all the accident lawyers and so if you have good PPO insurance why would you go to this place and suffer. There are many better choices. Also its in the basement in a high rise. The owner is running this as a business as oppose to a caring medical facility. Their MRI technicians are very smart--the one I had a couple of times. The prescription was written wrong by the physician and I had to have it rewritten to avoid problems for the area that needed the MRI. I had to take my daughter for an MRI. We went in the evening. The tech was a nasty woman and asked me to wait in the waiting room - I couldn't be with my minor child. This was nothing I have experienced and dare I say illegal? My daughter said the woman was cold and spoke to her in a stern unfriendly way. Turns out, when our doctor received the images he was horrified. He said I can't believe they would even find these acceptable to go out. He had his office call and share his irritation. We then had to go back and have them redone. I thought it was weird that I was able to get an appointment on the same day when other places there was a wait. Now I understand why. read more

They offered me pizza for luch when they were running late and were so apologetic about it So you get great images by great staff doctors too. When I saw the two star review I thought I had the wrong place. Paramus MRI is amazing. I was there yesterday. They sent transportation (the driver was on time and considerate and waited for me so he could get me home without waiting). They kept on schedule. The techs was friendly, the place was spotless, the results were sent to my dr the same afternoon. What else could you possibly ask for? FYI: Be prepared to wait over an hour before being seen. For future reference, I'd probably find a practice that has better time management and management overall. Funny part is that they called me to come a few days earlier at 10:20 PM. They reassured I'll be in and out all within an hour, definitely a lie. Never again. These people will waste your time. Don't go there. MRIs take a set amount of time and appointments are scheduled a week in advance. Why such a brutally long wait Paramus Medical Imaging? Mismanaging your facility? Wish I never stepped foot in your shit hole of a place you call a business. Let me say this first, the MRI tech (female) is an absolute sweetheart and wish I could rate her as a 5 on her own. The reason why I give it 3 stars is cause they're not coordinated. We've been there a total of 4 times between myself and my girlfriend for a car accident. I went in early and was taken in on time and was quick. However, the 3 times my gf has been there has been just ridiculous. We came in an hour early for her first visit to fill out the forms and get her ID copied. (Typical for first time patients). We weren't seen for 1.5 hours AFTER her initial appointment mind you we were there an hour early already so we were there 3 hours total for a 45 minute test because it was the lumbar spine and foot. Skip to the 3rd time for her and here's where I got pissed off. My gf had aggravated her neck injury to where she was nauseous at times, vomiting and burning pain between her shoulders because her spinal cord was being pinched by the herniated disc. I made sure to get there on time for 630am appointment. They called the day before to see if we could change to 9am but I told them absolutely not because she had an X-ray appointment 45 minutes away in Hoboken. Guess they double booked her time slot after we booked ours already so they were trying to move one or the other. We get there 1st and someone came in after us. I'm guessing the other 630. They take him FIRST! Mind you, my gf had to take the pain meds she was prescribed to just MAKE the drive there from the pain let alone have to lay down on the table for her MRI. 45 minutes later her pain meds wear off and she's in pain and vomiting. The MRI tech remembered her and said why didn't they tell her the extent of her symptoms because her exam would've taken 10 minutes cause the guy who was allowed to go ahead of us was 45 minutes long. She had my gf sit next to her and tried to keep her calm while I drove to a gas station to get her big gulp cups of ice to put in a ziplock bag to help with her pain because they ran out of ice packs. Had to be on empty for them for a while cause the whole shelf was empty. Come back she's done already and sitting with the tech cause it was dark in her area rather than sitting in the lit waiting room which had me so grateful because she didn't have to do so. Also, on the 1st visit, they never handed her back her drivers license and out of habit of never really needing to pull it out, we assumed it was given back. 3 whole weeks not knowing they never gave it back. They didn't call to say hey, the drivers license was left in the copy machine. Not until I made my date for an MRI did I ask hey was a drivers license left behind did they say oh yea. There is a price on the Paramus MRI when represenatives present a medical bill nearly five years later which is unethical, especially when Paramus MRI said they would absorb the insurance as full payment. I am writing this review as I am waiting for my appointment. I was scheduled for 5:25 and got a call from one of schedulers that there would be a long wait. She asked me to come in at 8:30 and we got there at 8:15. It is 10:05 now and My husband and I are still waiting to be called. I have done images at different facilities and I have not experienced anything like this. I would give no star if there is an option. Stay away from this facility at all costs!! read more

Paramus Imaging lied to us about the charges. They were out-of-network but assured us they would accept the insurance assignment and they received a payment that was a decent percentage of the bill. I would have never used them otherwise. 2 years later, they sent the remainder of the bill to a collection agency and are suing for the full amount. I see I am not the only victim from other comments. Please beware. read more

The facility it's self and the staff are generally excellent. I also found that the films from this facility are significantly clearer than other facilities. Unfortunately for me they were out of network and they don't tell you this up front in fact when I made an appointment I was told they take my insurance (they do just not in network), like many doctors offices their billing team isn't very helpful and really is about processing vs actually helping people. Their rates for out of network patients are also considerably higher than in network facilities, is is presumed to increase reimbursements, but after your insurance pays what they will pay you get bills which Aren't clear or have outrageous numbers attributed to them. Unfortunately because of this I also lost a nuero who I felt was great, this particular Doctor also used a lab who hung out in their lobby which implies a business relationship between the two. I can only speculate as to the relationship between this facility and the doctor. Of course some of my issues are systemic problems with the medical industry, each facility charges a different amount and no one know how much that is. read more

This is the poorest managed office that I have ever had to deal with for a medical scan .. I waited over an hour and a half for my appointment without any information or explanation being provided to me about the delay. After I asked the front desk, I was told they can't account for patients moving inside the mri. I've had them done before and have never waited so long.. horrible scheduling and rude front desk (Sasha). The radiology tech seemed good but I will have to see what the report looks like when it's done. The changing room that I was given had a closet to hang your belongings in and there was dust and hairs on the shelf (yuck) as well as a strong smelling deodorizer (gross). Appointment was for 6:40pm and I wasn't out off there until 9pm when the tech told me it would take approximately 17 to 20 minutes. Inconsiderate to leave people, some who are experiencing physical pain waiting without giving the option for them to leave at an earlier time and reschedule.
