Drove all the way out here just for it to be an IHOP, with no actual restaurant in sight

I ordered their lunch special Philly cheese steak 8 inch with fries for $18.50. The Philly cheese steak was seasoned to perfection. That being said the bread could've been fresher, It was chewy, the fries were standard, but cooked well. The person that served me my food & brought out my order was average/fair. I walked away with no feeling one way or the other about the service. My opinion is, I don't feel like I really got value for my money. The reason being, is because with the sandwich, I got no mayonnaise no lettuce, no tomato no pickles. It was a straight sandwich with no extras. Meat and bread. When I asked for extra onions, I was told it was gonna be an additional $1.50. I really couldn't even tell there was cheese on my sandwich . With all of that being said, the Philly cheese steak itself with the seasonings could have been a real showstopper with a little bit more love when preparing and giving the food. Maybe with some mayonnaise and lettuce and tomato help brighten the sandwich. It would be great! And fresh Bread. I would've walked away feeling like I paid for freshest fixings and a great cook on the Philly steak. Room for improvement.

We got over 6 drinks and shared a Philly sandwich and barely hit over $60 ! For a vacation, that is amazing compared to Seattle. The staff were so kind and welcoming, and the food was delicious. I got the General Tso Chicken Pineapple Bowl and it was amazing! I would say it is a bit more on the Teriyaki side of flavors, but still super tasty! You get a lot of meat and then you can also eat some of the pineapple bowl. We also tried the Pineapple Punch which has a very strong pineapple flavor! It was really good and definitely dangerous as you could drink it really fast. The Crispy Chicken, Bacon & Ranch Wrap wasn't our favorite food item, but still decent! Do note that they currently only take cash! There is an ATM machine when you walk in, but just so you know in advanced! Service was good for the most part, it did seem as though they were understaffed so everything moved a bit slow, but you are on island time so enjoy it! The food does take a bit to come out as well, so don't choose this place if you need to be out quickly.

I was worried because the last couple of reviews were all bad and it seems they've had a change of ownership within the last year. They used to be called south Philly & hoagies or something like that then south Philly and schwarma king, and now it's south Philly & Grill(Established in 2025) I can't speak to the reviews about how they're never open when they say because I went at 3:30 but I ordered a Philly cheese with provolone and I thought it was great! I'm by no means a cheesesteak coinnosoir but the steak was nice, juicy, and packed with flavor. I can tell they probably marinade the meat which is good. Could've had a bit more cheese but overall I was satisfied. The bread they use is from a brand in Philly called Amoroso's and it soaks up the flavors really well. I can tell it would get soggy if left too long but I ordered it and ate it within 10 minutes. Would I get it again? Absolutely. I give it 5 stars for how much I liked the flavor of the sandwich and my likelihood of returning. Keep in mind this is not a 5 stars on a scale of ALL the cheesesteaks I've ever had. I'd say that scale it's a solid 3

He did ask if cheese and onions were okay which I appreciated. I absentmindedly forgot to make my buffalo cheesesteak with chicken. But it was okay with steak just not what I expected. Wish the cashier would've asked me which option I wanted but it's all good. Just know that it will default to steak of my you don't specify. Flavor was good. Sandwiches were hot even after driving home. Price tag is a bit on the higher side as the two sandwiches (one small and one reg) was roughly $27 without tax and tip. A $5 coupon was then applied so that was good. However, That was without sides. If you made them combos you're looking at close to $40. A tad hefty for my liking but I like supportinglocal

I tried the Philly cheesesteak on both occasions and I feel that something is off. On the first trip, I felt that the bread seems doughy and the meat to cheese ratio is off where there was too much cheese. The steak was chewy and different have must flavor that I'm used of tasting from a cheesesteak. In trying to give them the benefit of the doubt and believing that the experience was a bit off since this was carry out order and I didn't eat it right away, I decided to wait a bit before trying this place again. On the second trip, I ordered the same thing and paid extra to make it a hoagie (adding lettuce and tomatoes). I must say that I feel some kind a way about having to order extra for lettuce and tomatoes, but that was the choice I made. Instead of waiting, I decided to take a bite immediately when I got to my car. The bread was still too doughy for my liking and i feel there was too much cheese to make the sandwich too chewy. I tasted the meat separately and found the flavor lacking. In the end, I tossed the rest of the sandwich in the trash. So, I tried this place a couple of times and can't say I would go back for a third trip.
