The bulbs in all of the beds are new and changed frequently. The membership is affordable and includes everything except one spa room. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. Mallory, the store manager there is very accommodating and makes a great asset to this gym. I love the fact that I can literally workout there at Anytime day or night. Even during the busier times of the day, the gym is hardly ever very packed so that leaves plenty of open gym equipment. As a heavy lifter and guy that takes pride in his physique, this gym has all the equipment I need to maintain and build on the frame I strive for. It's super affordable and one of the least expensive gyms to have a membership at. I highly recommend to anyone looking for a gym in the Middleburg/Orange Park area.

Extremely Disappointing Experience…read more My experience with Workout Anytime left me very disappointed, primarily because of how difficult it was to cancel my membership. When I originally signed up, I made it clear that I did not want to be locked into a contract. I was told I could pay through my bank account and cancel my membership whenever I chose. Based on that understanding, I enrolled. Recently, I received a call informing me that I owed $68 because my account was past due. Since I hadn't used the gym in well over a year, I told them I wanted to cancel my membership. To my surprise, I was informed that I was required to provide a 30-day notice and would still be charged for two additional billing cycles. I then went to the gym in person, expecting the cancellation process to be straightforward. Instead, I was told they could not cancel my membership at the front desk. Even though I was standing there requesting cancellation, I was instructed to either submit a written request or create an online account and complete the cancellation myself. It was frustrating to be told that my in-person request wasn't sufficient. I also requested a copy of my membership agreement and noticed that my name was not even spelled correctly on the contract. What disappointed me most was the overall customer service. After being a paying member for several years--even though I hadn't used the facility for quite some time--I expected a simple, professional cancellation process. Instead, I felt like unnecessary obstacles were placed in my way. During my visit, I expressed my frustration with the situation, but I remained respectful. I did not yell, threaten anyone, or use profanity. Despite that, I later received an email from the owner warning that law enforcement would be contacted if there were any further issues. I found that response unnecessary and disappointing. This review reflects my personal experience. I encourage anyone considering a membership to carefully review the cancellation policy before signing up and to fully understand the billing terms. And not to mention I didn't even get a bye, have a nice day or see you next time!!! She was glued to her phone, she probably didn't even know I left!! Customer service would be nice in your business. They want to sell you a package and once you make that purchase, they no longer are friendly let alone greet you. The gym is separated into different sections for cardio, resistance training, and weight-lifting. The basic membership is only $15/month. There is also a hydromassage and tanning for premium membership ($25/month). And the great thing about all Workout Anytime gyms is that they give 7 days trial membership! Another great thing is that you have access to all Workout Anytime locations with the basic membership! Parking isn't a problem because the parking lot is spacious. Once entered, you are greeted with a smile. The staff are very friendly and nice. The equipments and bathroom are clean. Like most gyms, some people do not wipe the equipments. However, the staff at this gym make sure the equipments are clean and disinfected. My only concern is how small this gym is. It gets very busy between 4 PM - 7 PM and waiting on the equipments can be frustrating and time-consuming. The Oakleaf community is expanding; there is a need for bigger gym to accommodate large # of people. Overall, this gym is great. It's worth a visit and will fulfill your needs. Highly recommend if you live in Oakleaf area.
