I've been wanting to try Smallcakes for awhile as I'm a big cupcake connoisseur. This location was so big with seating on the inside. Joanne helped us order and was so sweet and helpful with deciding what flavors to choose. I went with strawberry cream and my boyfriend went with the chocolate cream. These cupcakes are the best I've ever had! All of their cupcakes are large with lots of frosting and filling. One of the cutest little places, I'll definitely be back soon!

Had the pleasure of stopping by Smallcakes in Commack today. As soon as I opened the doors the aroma of treats hit me. I tried a wedding cake cupcake & with the first bite the word "heavenly" came to mind. It was so fresh, light and airy sweet cake with the most wonderful almond buttercream. So delicious. I met the owner Rose, she is just as sweet as her cupcakes. The space is big with tables so you can sit and enjoy the sweet treats. They have a large assortment of cupcakes and macarons, as well as ice cream. I am very happy they are close by, I want to eat my way through their delicious treats!

Welcome Smallcakes to your new location on Commack Road near Giunta's Meat Market. These cupcakes are dangerously delicious. Carrot cake was outstanding. All the chocolate cupcakes were amazing. The worker was so nice she made a special cupcake for a teachers appreciation day (apple). I highly recommend this place. read more

Absolutely fantastic bakery! Not only are their cupcakes beautiful and incredibly delicious, but the service is just as amazing. The owner, Rose, and her staff went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect, and you can really tell she cares about both her customers and the quality of what she serves. I needed gluten-free cupcakes, and they were able to fulfill the order without any issue. Honestly, you would never even know they were gluten-free -- they were moist, flavorful, and tasted incredible. Everything we ever had from here is always fresh and perfectly prepared, with frosting that was light and not overly sweet. Between the outstanding cupcakes and the amazing service from the staff and Rose, Smallcakes in commack stands out. We will absolutely always continue to comeback. read more

Small Cakes in Commack is my go to place. I believe they opened two years ago, maybe more and the quality is still on point. The cupcakes are delicious, the owner and her staff are super welcoming, friendly. She keeps the store extremely clean and it's really pretty inside. I placed an order for a Christmas gathering and they couldn't do enough to please me from the decorating of the cupcakes, we had some dietary restrictions and they do the best they can with that . I love that you can get something for everyone with cupcakes and you are not just stuck with one cake. There is a flavor to please all of your guests. There are not a lot of bakeries nevertheless specialty stores, but this place will be around for a long time. People are tired of grocery store baked goods. read more

Second visit... Even better then I remember them being the first time. Honestly the best I've had. You get what you pay for! The candy corn cupcake was AMAZING!! So fresh and delicious. The cupcakes spots which are so popular in NYC, Magnolia, Crumbs and even Baked by Melissa which I wasn't so impressed with have NOTHING on Smallcakes.... They don't even come close and they even have my all time favorite place beat (which I didn't think was possible). If you love cupcakes or know anyone who does, this is your place!!! Customer service is a big part of the overall experience, and unfortunately, the communication alone makes me hesitant to spend my money there again. A more accessible and customer-friendly process would go a long way in preventing misunderstandings and improving the overall experience.
