Calling all Long Island vegans! Come visit this spot and try their delicious bakery quality vegan goods. I strolled by this spot and decided to pop in to see if they carried any vegan desserts. To my surprise they had a whole refrigerated section with vegan cakes, cupcakes, chocolate chip cookies, and some of the best donuts I've ever had! Not only was everything I bought so tasty and fresh, but also extremely affordable. I got a 6 pack of giant cupcakes (with filling) and a 4 pack of donuts for only $21. They also do custom orders for weddings or any event. Please support this spot as they have something for everyone including gluten free, salt free, sugar free, or just classic Italian pastries.

I stopped in specifically for coffee because I yelped coffee near me and this is what came up. So I got coffee there. I got a vanilla latte. It was like the type of coffee you get out of a machine in a hospital or something like that. I also ordered some biscotti. May ask for one of everything they have. The lady gave me six pastries. Three didn't even seem like biscotti to me. And there were other ones there that I would have liked better that she did not give me. So that's my bad for not paying attention and assuming she would just give me the ones that look like biscotti. The cakes and pastries look pretty but I wasn't there for that. And I do know this is a bakery. So besides the coffee not being good the biscotti was just average. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The place is very cute.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The staff is very friendly. Everybody was preoccupied with the baby that was there. The baby was very Cute. I wouldn't go out of my way to stop here.

There are few places left on Long Island where you can still get a good doughnut and Park Bake Shop is one of them. Excellent Jelly and Boston Creams! They have other great baked goods but they are worth visiting for the doughnuts alone!

I wanted a funfetti cake and the one they had readily available had lovely sunflowers on it. The woman working was so sweet and put some writing on the cake for me. The 6" cake was about $50 dollars which seemed a bit high, but I think its pretty standard for a bakery. The cake itself was very moist and absolutely delicious and I would give it an A+. The cake I purchased for her birthday from another local bakery last year was really dry, so I was pleasantly surprised by this cake. The buttercream frosting was where I felt the cake fell a bit short. It tasted like pure unsalted butter and had almost no sweetness to it, so we ended up just eating the cake center and leaving the frosting. Unfortunate for an expensive cake but based on the other reviews I'm wondering if it was just a one time error. I don't think I would get another cake from there, but the rest of the baked goods and empanadas looked awesome so I will definitely be bake to try those!

One year later, Charlie's bakery remains one of the best and highest quality bakeries around!!…read more Before you even order anything, it's a treat to see all of the delicious laminated croissants and fresh bread cooling on the counter; the delectable cookies, brownies, scones and rolls piled high; and the colorful and decadent desserts on display. I maintain that Charlie's has the feel of a bakery in Manhattan, in terms of the cool decor inside and incredibly high quality baked goods. Without question, my favorite item on the menu now has to be their cinnamon roll. It's unlike any of the soggy imitations I'd ever had before and is now my gold standard for cinnamon rolls everywhere. The dough is golden and buttery with a slight crispy texture on the outside, but soft and chewy with lots of delectable cinnamon sugar layered in. The best part though is what seems to be a brown butter cream cheese frosting, drizzled on top. I can't stop myself from devouring the entire thing in one sitting!! They also have the most incredible bacon egg and cheese danish, made with a flaky croissant base that simultaneously shatters and melts in your mouth, and topped with velvety scrambled eggs, a slice of bacon, and melted cheese. Heat it up in the toaster oven for an outstanding way to level up the classic BEC. Also, Charlie's makes a fantastic cup of coffee, and they even have a variety of homemade flavored syrups to add to your latte. The baristas and employees are very sweet and can always give you recommendations. There's plenty of lovely seating inside to enjoy coffee and a pastry with a friend. And did I mention that they make ice cream??! What CAN'T Charlie's bakery do?!?

Cappuccino was delicious & creamy. I'm saving the tart for later but it looks yummy. The cute little cakes caught my eye, I know I'll be back for one soon. Perfect mini versions of a full cake & beautifully decorated. The place has a cool French bistro vibe that I love! Huge parking lot, they're located in the IGA shopping center in Fort Salonga. I can't wait to go back!
