I've been a loyal Paris Baguette customer for years, and it's still one of my favorite bakery chains. My family always gets cakes from here for special occasions, and we also stop by pretty often for pastries and drinks. I ordered an iced matcha latte with strawberry syrup at the bottom of the cup. The drink is on the sweeter side, but I personally like sweeter drinks, so I enjoyed it a lot. The matcha flavor was still nice and balanced. I also got an almond pastry (warmed up), a chocolate supreme croissant, and a strawberry croissant. Everything tasted fresh and flaky, and I honestly love their pastries in general. The ambience is decent as well. One thing I'd recommend is going earlier in the day because there's usually a bigger pastry selection. I've also noticed that the Dublin location tends to have a bit more variety in pastries and slightly better service. read more

I don't know if you can imagine my joy when I saw the Paris Baguette sign off the main road while heading to the resort. As a Bay Area foodie, that sight instantly made my day. If you know, you know. The pastries here are absolutely worth the detour--and honestly, wherever I see a Paris Baguette, I do pull over. That includes locations I've visited in Northern California, North Brunswick, New Jersey, Atlanta, Georgia, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and even the one here in Charlotte down in Pineville. It's a bit of a drive for me, but when I'm in that area, I always make a point to stop in and pick up a couple of their delicious croissant-donut pastries and marzipan or almond croissants. That's the beauty of this bakery--it's a chain, yes, but the consistency is what keeps me coming back. I have yet to be disappointed. Of course, I had to stop at this Hilton Head location--and I didn't come empty-handed. Food connects people, and bringing pastries to your host is always a winning move. I picked up three different varieties of their famous croissant-donut style pastries (similar to the well-known cronut): * Chocolate * Tiramisu * Mango And I added two large almond croissants that were beautifully filled, flaky, and indulgent. It's self-serve: you grab a tray, line it with parchment, use the tongs, and select whatever catches your eye--from baguettes to cakes to coffee drinks. Checkout was quick, Apple Pay was accepted, and the whole experience felt smooth and well organized. The space was clean, friendly, and inviting, with plenty of outdoor seating. Bottom line: Whenever you see a Paris Baguette on your radar, pull over. It's dependable, delicious, and perfect for picking up pastries to share--or to treat yourself. Also had picked up a slice of their tiramisu which was okay. There was just something different to the taste/quality. St least there wasn't a piece of plastic in it like last time. Have heard good things about Paris Baguette and decided to finally try it. What a fun concept, you pick a tray and pile on all the goodies you want to buy then take it to the cashier. Decided on the ham and cheese croissant and a chocolate croissant as a little midday snack. The ham and cheese was the best I've ever had. It was loaded with ham and was heartier than I thought I'd be. The chocolate croissant wasn't bad but didn't have a lot of chocolate. Went to Paris baguette after dinner for dessert. The store was clean and bright. Because it was later in the day, the offerings were somewhat limited. There was one clerk at the counter. He quickly took and filled our orders. My husband had a slice of rainbow cake and I had a couple of macaroons. The macaroons were delicious. I particularly like the lemon. The flavor was outstanding. The raspberry was sweet and tasted like raspberries. My husband enjoyed the cake. Because I tried to avoid gluten I have not been to Paris baguette in several years. However, they do have several items that are gluten-free. If you're looking for a place to grab dessert in the evening, in addition to traditional cakes and cookies, they do have cheesecake. My wife wanted a healthy lunch and I happened to be in the Dublin so I stopped by the Paris Baguette. I ordered a Caprese sandwich which is a vegetarian with mozzarella sandwich. I took it home cold and heated it at home. The produce and mozzarella were fresh. The baguette was fresh too, slight chewiness and when heated has a nice light crunchiness. I had a bite which I liked and my wife said it was good as usual. Paris Baguette has lots of other pastries and cold desserts. I've tried a number of them on other visits. It's been a while since we've eaten at this Paris Baguette location. We usually go here to pick up a cake, but not actually eat in the store. We had time the day before Thanksgiving and one of the kids wanted a slice of rainbow cake. It was pretty busy and we ended up sitting in the room, the side near the patio. DH and I both ended up getting sandwiches from the cold case. The chicken salad sandwich ($9.50) was excellent. It was slightly sweet with a perfect balance of crunch from walnuts. The turkey and avocado sandwich ($10) was also great. I appreciated the thinly sliced cucumbers which helped the balance out the flavors and add some texture. But the truly outstanding thing is a multigrain bread. It is incredibly soft and very flavorful. Clearly, freshly baked even people who eat more processed bread would appreciate how delicate it was. The sandwiches looked small, but they were dense and filled us up. The rainbow cake slice ($7) was excellent as always. Each layer is a different flavor and it is a truly beautiful piece of dessert. We've gotten this before for birthdays and it's always a hit. This is a chiffon cake so it is not as sweet as American style cakes We tried the crab croquette ($3.50) and it was also very soft on the inside and delicately crispy on the outside. The filling is imitation crab and has some corn in it, which makes it a little bit sweet. I liked this a lot, but my personal preference is for savory, so next time I might try the curry one. DH tried the Pastry Frank ($5.50), a hotdog wrapped in a croissant, and it was also really good. We also got a pastry with fruit on top (Fruit Pastry $5). It was flaky like a croissant, and the creamy, custardy topping was excellent. It definitely tasted way better than it looked! We tried the pepperoni pizzetta l($6.50) on a croissant base. This was kind of strange, but still good, pepperoni was spicier than we expected. Little One got a Portuguese egg tart/Pastel de Nata ($3), which was quickly devoured. I'm sure it must've been really good because he wasn't planning on eating the whole thing and it went quickly! We didn't get drinks this time and instead just brought some hot tea and a thermos. But we did see a lot of people order drinks. Overall, a really nice dine in experience at Paris Baguette. It was pretty pricey, almost $50 before tip, without any drinks so probably not a place that we would go to regularly. read more

KIRA WAS AWESOME. I have mobility and anxiety issues. I picked up 2 cakes. I called and asked if someone can bring to my car. Kira, was kind, told me would be a few minutes, less than 10 minutes, she brought my cakes, showed me them and thanked me. Yummy cakes, excellent customer service. They don't sell them at the store. You have to go online. What a drag! I would've saved a trip had I known. I decided to grab a couple of treats while here. Be careful what you use your tongs for. I picked up a savory one with bbq sauce or ketchup on it. The cashier didn't care that the sauce was all over the tongs and almost picked up my chocolate croissant with it. This place was quite busy but very clean and spotless. I did an online order and was quickly greeted by the cashier before she directed me to the pick up window. The pastry shelves had plenty of selections and the staff were quick at replacing items that were running low. My only complaints would be the wait once I got to the pickup window. No one was at the register so it took a while before I could pickup my online order. However, the staff were apologetic when they did come over and I was able to leave worth a wonderful matcha drink and a slice of red velvet cake. Both were delicious! read more

I have been a huge fan of PB. I waited with bated breath when they had the coming soon sign on their door. I would come early for months before their pastries sold out. HOWEVER, lately, the hand full of times I've come here this past year, lessening bc of their quality control, it keeps getting worse. It wasn't busy by any means tonight. I wanted 2 slices of cake, trusting that I would get my cake...right. When I got home, I didn't get the cake I was craving. Chocolate Chiffon. Also, depending on the time of day you visit the place, some of the items are not available for purchase and sold out for the day. A lovely bakery and cafe! Paris Baguette offers a wide variety of sweet and savory pastries, tarts, cakes, and breads. There are also breakfast and lunch sandwiches. There are many iced, hot, and frozen beverages. The selection of matches, chais, teas, coffees, lattes, and frappes is impressive for a chain that is primarily pastry-driven. The iced matcha latte was great! It was perfectly sweet and creamy (although I do wish it had a bit more matcha). The honey castella was my favorite of the breaded items. It was subtly sweet, moist, and bouncy! The crab meat croquette had a nice flavor but was a bit greasy. I enjoyed the fruit tart but it was dry. I would have loved to try some of the other pastries from the glass displays but they seemed to be overly dry or stale too. The croissants were the driest out of all of them so I opted to not try them. I'm also unsure if it was the time of day I came (early evening) but the pastry selection was a bit lacking. I suppose the inventory was low which was unfortunate considering this location is open very late. The service was very good! The friendly cashier offered to warm the croquette for me and did so quickly. The drink came out quick too. I loved the seating in this Paris Baguette location! There were two large indoor seating areas with accessible wifi and outlets. The outdoor patio was my favorite! It was super cute and had nice lighting. I will definitely be back! read more

This update is purely for Paris Baguette's corporate/internal processes. I ordered a Tiramisu cake 6 days in advance for a birthday. The morning I was supposed to pick it up, I got a call saying they unfortunately couldn't do the tiramisu cake because they don't have the ingredients for the cake. They explained for orders made online, they only receive those orders from the corporate office the morning they are scheduled for pickup. Therefore they couldn't prep the proper ingredients in order to make the cake. That process is absolutely ridiculous. If you know certain cakes require additional prep work, why on earth would you send it to the store the day of? I received the call 4 hours before my scheduled pickup. What would have happened if I had made my pickup for right when the store opened? I know either way I wouldn't have gotten the cake, but that is such a bad process. The employees even said it wasn't like that before. It was extremely disappointing as this was for a birthday AND the tiramisu cake was specially requested by the birthday girl. I've never seen this issue with any other bakery, and you'd think that those details would be taken into account, especially when those cakes require a 24 hour advance order minimum. How can you require the customer to order a cake at least 24 hours in advance when you don't even let the store know they'll need to have a cake prepared until the morning of pickup? The store employees at this location were very kind and very sweet about it, and I know it's not their fault. I even still bought some additional pastries when I went to pickup a different cake I had to choose. However, I probably won't be ordering my cakes from any Paris Baguette anymore since they can't even handle cake orders for special occasions properly and didn't listen to their employees on how this is an issue. The Dublin Paris Baguette is on regular rotation for us since they first opened. Love the cakes and pastries from here. Our favorites are cronuts, the croissant donut cross. This is a pretty big location with plenty of seating if you are inclined to eat here. Always clean and stocked with good service. read more

I typically order the strawberries and cream cake but this time my son wanted the cappuccino cake for his 20th, and it looked dreamy but tasted very dry/old.
