Wow was this an off day? My pastery which sounded amazing; was anything but. Got their mango sticky rice pastry and a latte and wow, both were horrible. Let's get to the dry, stale tasting pastry. The sticky rice was hard as a rock, the mango was sour, and the crossaint tasted like it had been sitting to dry forever. Not flaky, not tasty. The latte can not be adjusted to accommodate nonfat milk. Only like soy or almond or whole milk. Fine, but the latte is tell tasted like cheap hotel quality coffee. This was pricey, and I do want to support local businesses, but this was such a fail that I really wanted to give it less than 2 stars.

The patisserie is bestked in a dilapidated shopping center that is anchored by Emil Villa's. Don't let looks fool you. They try to make the spit as cheerful as possible with flowering plants in pots lining the sidewalk and a white interior. Their offerings both look and taste delectable. I tried the pistachio shortbread and Mike's aloha. Both cookies were generously sized. The macadamia cookie was rich. I missed the chocolate, though. I have a chocolate chip macadamia cookie I have on the regular and it's spoiled me. The pistachio shortbread however, was perfect. Makes me want to try the pistachio croissant. I plan to go back for a cup of coffee and to try more things. Good patisseries are hard to find, so this one should be supported. Recommended.

Go here at your own risk -- because wow. Every time I try something new, I end up falling in love with it, but the chocolate chip cookie will always be the star of the show for me. It's an absolute 10/10: soft, chewy, flaky, with the perfect hint of saltiness. Seriously so good!

I was sad when Dan Good Cookies left but Patisserie By Simone has been a great addition to our community. I've been here several times and sometimes there's a line but it always moves quickly. The environment is kid-friendly and kind. There is a little play area near the counter making it a good spot for a play date while parents can chat. There are more tables on the other side of the room. They have savory and sweet options. The flavors are unique and especially fun to get when they're themed for holidays. You can preorder special seasonal items. They take great care in the packaging and presentation, making these treats great gifts. I'm excited to try out their mini Valentine's Day cakes. Looking forward to the next time I come back.

Absolute gem and hidden in an older shopping center. Definitely worth the extra few minutes off the freeway. I had the raspberry dark chocolate little cake along with a millionaire something (can't remember the name) mini cake and a puffed pastry filled with cherry. We didn't get many pics and I apologize but it was al amazing!!!

Patisserie By Simone in Livermore is such a cute little spot! Their pastries are delicious, especially the pastieres, which were really good. Everything looked fresh and beautifully made. I'd definitely stop by again whenever I'm in the area.

Patisserie by Simone is one of only a few businesses still open in the Livermore Town Centre. It's a few doors from House of Style. (Hair stylist). An outer room available for seating + a few tables outside. Plenty of parking. Small line moved quickly. The dough machine is behind the pick up counter. Many ladies were busy in same area creating various bakes. Ordered whatever was eye appealing. Pd. Got bites in minutes. Offerings: croissants, cookies, macarons, danish, malasadas, breads, quiche, coffee.... Bites: malasada with banana chocolate filling (4.5) -melt in mouth airy cake with smooth, semi moist, velvety glob of Unami bana-choco goodness. Best to eat a.s.a.p, before cake and/or fillings harden. Almond croissant (8) -seemingly dozens of thin layers of buttery textures infused with artisan fragrances/flavors. topped with thin roasted, crunchy almonds. Eat a.s.a.p. Mike's aloha crunch cookie (4.5) -moist cookie with buttery & sugar essence filled with macadamia nut bits. Also eat a.s.a.p. Hardens partially on 2d day. 4.5 stars Worthy! Quality: excellent ingredients used. Quantity: reasonable. Caveat: eat a.s.a.p. Short shelf live.

First time at the patisserie and it did not disappoint! I went in on a Sunday morning around 10 AM and there were only a few people in line. I ordered the strawberry guava malasada, an heirloom/ pesto/burrata danish and a plain croissant as well as an aloha crunch cookie which I believe had a macadamias and brown sugar. everything was a 10 out of 10 it was extremely fresh, the danish was nice, flaky and crunchy and the worker told me to start with the danish because the burrata had been freshly placed on top. I plan on going back every time I'm in the Livermore area

My dad loves Patisserie by Simone! It's safe to say it's his favorite neighborhood bakery. He's been wanting me to visit for quite some time and finally, the opportunity arose! The bakery is cute and quaint! Unassuming on the outside, once you step in there's a nice display case plus seating and a fun little kids area. Since we came with my pup, we sat outside where they had a couple of tables. The workers were friendly and helpful. With it being a popular bakery, be mindful that wait times can vary. The three of us decided to share their Filled Malasadas. Companion ordered the Vanilla, Coconut Lime, and Caramel Coffee flavors. He also got me a refreshing Strawberry Green Tea drink. Living in Hawaiʻi, I have a love for malasadas and theirs didn't disappoint! The ones here are chewy, airy, and slightly crunchy. All of the fillings were great! I'd love to try their other pastries. Their menu changes daily and items offered and flavors can depend on the season. Patisserie By Simone is a must for all pastry lovers in the Tri-Valley! The bakery is located in a pretty quiet shopping complex, but there's plenty of parking around. I look forward to coming back!

Yelp suggested this bakery and I was instantly intrigued. I've lived in the area for almost 4 years and never heard of this place. The pastries look pretty so I decided to give it a try. For starters the location is a little off the gird in a rundown shopping plaza. I went in a little after 1pm and most of their pastries were sold out. I decided to try a filled donut, blueberry eclair, a small strawberry treat, and a cherry cheese danish. (Note these aren't the actual names of the pastries, I didn't take note of the exact names). The filled donut was really good! Highly suggest. I inhaled it before even getting a photo, lol. The eclair had flavor but the bread portion was a little dry. The strawberry cake was ok, mostly cream. The cherry cheese danish was pretty good but also a little dry. Overall, the presentation is there but the pastries were a little dry for my liking. It seems to be a kid friendly place. They have a set up just for kids. No complaints on the service. Prices are fair.

Really delicious. The cookie was amazing - and husband said the malasada was delicious. You can tell everything was homemade!

Let me start by saying a close friend to us recommended this place, so when we were in the area, we knew we had to give it a try. The pastries were excellent! We tried the scalloped potato Danish. It was very savory and that was what I was looking for. Wee alo tried the Black Sesame Kouign Amann. It was very flavorful. Soft and fluffy in the inside and crispy on the outside with a hint of black sesame. The people behind the counter was very nice and attentive. The place was clean with a cute esthetic to it. It is located in an old strip mall, I didnt expect a high quality bakery in the middle of it. Everything we had was excellent, it was on the pricer side, I am attributing this to being located in Livermore and I believe they are only open 3 days a week, but it was worth the visit. I would recommend, but I wouldn't be able to visit as often as I would like due to menu prices. Overall an excellent spot!

Phenomenal bakery with a great selection of sweet and savory treats. Friendly counter service and a great space if you want to eat there rather than taking it to go.

Do they make ginger molasses cookies?

    Do they vegan options?

    Yep

What is the best time to get the most verity of cake & pastries? Love this place, but I am 40 min away. Wish I can get more choices and try everything.

Typically, on the weekend they have more options. I would call and order on the phone for pick up on Saturday :)

Are there pastries available for drop ins or is it an an order only business?

Since this business is currently only open Friday- Sunday, you'll simply have to get there early and wait to see what delights are available that day for purchase. It was definitely worth the wait for me.

And i have visited at least four time. All during night time. The place is always very quiet and mute, service is dismissible. The employees that I have interacted with never smile. Which is a shame, most panaderias, per say, in San Jose, are usually very positive experiences. Not here. It's like they don't want to be there. Or maybe they're just too tired, nobody likes night shifts in food service. I get it. The pricing for this pan dulce is a tad bit more pricey than most places Ive visited. Even then, I wont take away that it is good quality. I've probably had at least 1/2 their types of pan they offer. Which why I have not stopped dropping by here and there, also, my son loves the dulce cuernitos.
