    Loco Moco

Stopped by Denica's in Dublin after church and wow...so worth it. They serve a prime rib loco moco on weekends only, and it's a must-try. The portion is HUGE--literally a steak-sized cut of prime rib. My boyfriend and I shared it and were completely stuffed. It comes with a generous portion of rice, tender and flavorful prime rib, and 3 eggs on top. Everything about it was absolutely delicious. The meat was cooked perfectly--super juicy and packed with flavor. Such a hearty, satisfying meal. Definitely coming back for this weekend special!

Denica's one of my favorite brunch spots in the Tri-Valley because I enjoy fusion-style restaurants. It's not a boring American diner for a reason. Service can also be a bit slow when the restaurant during weekends and busy hours, but the staff makes sure to get everything right. It is nice they have a complimentary drink along with a chip and salsa station. So please take advantage of it while you wait for your food if you decide to dine in! The menu is Hawaiian and Filipino fusion, so the flavors are unique, vibrant, and delicious. I tried the guava pancakes, which were delicious. I love the cute presentation and guava jam. The banana pancakes were a little bland since I expected a stronger banana flavor. I could barely taste any macadamia. But, the pancakes here are huge and a nice treat for yourself! They also have a great bakery selection. I bought cookies from here and it is worth checking out. I'm intrigued to try their jiggly pancakes next time and savory dishes. Highly recommend if you're looking for a fun and flavorful brunch spot! I will definitely be back :)

What a lovely spot for brunch! You order at the counter and find yourself a table, they bring food to you. Quick, friendly service and not too busy for a Sunday morning! If you take away one thing from this review -- get the ube pancakes. They were divine, a great serving size (3-4 pancakes) and came with fruits and whipped cream. The ube sauce is sweet and coconutty. Delicious! I got the banana cream latte (on the specials menu) and didn't really like it, so would pass next time.

Wow glad I found out this place and tried it out! You walk in and order at the counter where you walk by all these pastries that they have. Ordered their popular ube pancakes, guava pancakes and to balance all that sweetness ordered some bacon and scrambled eggs! Everything was so good, was hoping they had the coconut pancakes but probably not in season or something. Best part is they have chips and salsa bar and that green salsa is so good !! Also have water to self serve and also a tea which I think was hibiscus but didn't try since didn't know if it was free like the water but I'll try next time! The pancakes were so fluffy and good not too sweet where you got tired of it as well. Also ordered some potato's which ended up being thick hasbrowns which were good as well. Portions are very big for their price so it is worth it! Can't wait to come back, great customer service as well. I was worried it would be packed but they have a decent amount of seating.

Discovered a nice breakfast place in Dublin. Breakfast is my favorite meal to eat out and l love finding new places. My buddy recommended this spot and what a great choice. I like its neighborhood vibe and it seems like its frequented by a lot of locals. I was starving an order the Niko's 2 Great Breakfast. I always order a standard entree to gauge the quality of the cooking. I figure if they can get the basics right there's a good chance that other items on the menu will be good. So, eggs over-easy, sausage, bacon, English muffin and lots of black coffee. I love it when the sausages are plumb and the bacon thick. Some places I've tried had small sausage and bacon, which left me wanting more. Thankfully, DRFK was not the case. There were generous servings of everything. My buddy had a breakfast croissant and it looked really, really good. I think I will try that the next time I visit. Service was good. I placed my order at the counter and paid. I sat myself and then waited for the order to come up. It did not take long. The vibe in the restaurant was lively and I felt right at home. Again, a great place to eat. My only unanswered question is are their free refills on coffee? I will find out the next time to go there. Pic time.

Girls brunch at Denica's was a hit! First thing I want to point out is the wooden train set & trains they have for the kids. We sat right infront of this play area so we could catch up on life while watching the kids play. This place is order first & then find a table. Its was very busy when we went but were able to find a table for 5 with no problem. The pastry options are endless , it all looked so delicious. I tasted the pecan bun 10/10! We all ordered something different! The presentation & taste of all the plates did not disappoint!

Denica's is delicious! It was our first time trying Brunch in Dublin and we don't regret our choice! We didn't know this, but you may grab menus and a table and order at the front counter when you are ready. There are two entrances -- one for to go (left door) and one for dine in/ordering (right side). However, there are seating on both sides so there is plenty of space! We went on a weekend and it was packed but we managed to get there just in time before the crowd came in. Denica's has a large menu and it was honestly quite hard to pick what we wanted. We got a giant cinnamon roll as an appetizer because we were starving, but it was a mistake because it is ginormous! It was $8 but the price reflected the size. We ate half before we decided to stop or else we'll be too full to finish our food. It was really good and I would recommend requesting it to be warmed up or maybe taking it to go instead of eating it first. There is a large variety of pastries and desserts and it looks so yummy! I can imagine that people come in just to get some pastries and leave. We ordered the Nutella Latte, which was delicious! Dark, thick, rich, but not too sweet. Had a nice deep coffee taste. I would absolutely order that again. For the iced banana cream matcha latte, I would skip out on it. The matcha isn't very strong and is quite diluted once you mix it in and tasted quite milky. The banana cream flavor was strong and all I could taste. I requested to change it to coffee and they added it in -- but then it didn't have the strong banana cream flavor. I wouldn't get it again and would recommend trying their other delicious sounding options. Thank you to the staff for being so understanding and trying to make my drink taste good. I got the eggs Benedict which I enjoyed. It was really good and flavorful. I loved that the potatoes were crispy. It did need a little bit of pepper and salt for seasoning, but there was plenty of spices and condiments at the table to use to adjust to taste. The chorizo tostada was also really good! It had really good seasoning and we struggled to finish our meals just because of the large size of it. We enjoyed every bite and would love to come again and try more food from Denica's!

We had a fun visit to Denica's. It is open early and we headed here for breakfast before our big hike. I ordered a breakfast burrito and it was large enough that I packed half for my hike snack. They have free chips and salsa and also a bakery. They offered samples of a couple of their cookies also. Between all of the offerings, I was stuffed. Good menu and we will be back for sure. Good service. Please come and create your own adventure.

    Pancake soufflé

If I lived in the area, this place would be on my list of restaurants to go to. You order food and pay at the counter. They will bring out your food to your table when it is ready. Their display case has a lot of yummy pastries. They also have fresh juice section. We ordered the Kalua pork and some Soufflé pancakes, with a cup of POG. The soufflé pancakes take 30 mins. They tell you ahead of time to see if you're ok with the wait. The Kalua pork was so good. The meat was moist. It really reminded me of being in Hawaii, when I was eating it. Plus, I had some POG juice. The place also looked like it could be a restaurant in Hawaii. It just had that look of a family owned restaurant in Hawaii vibe. Anyhow, the soufflé pancakes came with fresh fruit. The pancakes were great. Everything was very good. We enjoyed our breakfast!!

This is my second time ordering soufflé pancake. First time I've had it was in San Diego and this time my son told me to try the one at The best part was the whipped cream. it was more solid than standard whipped cream, which made it good . And would serve with fresh fruit and pizza butter. I really enjoyed it. There was one other person that was sitting in front of me and she had ordered the same thing. I asked her what she thought about it and she said she had it in Japan. It was slightly more fluffier, but this tasted just as good. The inside ambience is very casual. The latte was excellent.

I found this place when looking for a breakfast location. I am so glad I got to try this place. It is fantastic. It is in a strip mall and there was a good amount of parking spots but it was pretty packed. We were there for breakfast. There was a couple of people in front of us. You order from the counter and then they bring you food when it's ready. There is a display case with all the fresh pastries at the counter. It looked so yummy that I had to get one too. My wife wasn't too hungry and she knew I was going to order a lot so we just shared. I had to get Le Souffle Pancakes. they looked so enticing. It takes 30 minutes for this item. I decided to get them. Next was the Kalua pork hash. Lastly the Lilikoi Supreme Croissant. We got our number and went to a booth in the back. They brought out the Kalua Pork Hash. Wow it was like being in Hawaii actually even better. The pork was so tender and juicy. I was dying. Melt in your mouth. Since we were in the back we could see our Souffle being made. First being cooked on one side then she flipped it in the machine. It came out all fluffy. It was jiggly. SO the only downside is it tasted like they used packaged mix and not their own. Still great but could be better. I saved the croissant for later and OMG so buttery and loved the flavor of the tropical passionfruit. Wow This was a great find. I wish they had one in our city. Will be back again

Chilaquiles, Ube Pancakes, and Caden's Mini Breakfast
    Philip-John T.

Came here for brunch. We had their ube pancakes, chilaquiles, Caden's mini breakfast, ube hot cocoa, and ube latte. The ube pancakes were very good. Loved the sweetness from the ube spread. The purple color was very appealing. The fresh fruit was a nice touch to the pancakes. It had strawberries, blueberries, blackberries, and bananas. They balanced out the sweetness of the ube. The pancakes were nice and fluffy. The chilaquiles were excellent. The tortilla chips soaked up the green chile sauce very well. They were crunchy and not too soggy with the sauce. The green chile sauce was good. Loved its acidity and spice. The spice was not too overpowering and just enough. The eggs were cooked well. Nice scrambled eggs with the chips and salsa was a wonderful mixture. The avocados and tomatoes were a refreshing addition to the dish. The sour cream and cotija cheese were essential to the dish. Giving it more depth. The cilantro and radish put a nice touch as well. Caden's mini breakfast was okay. It was from the kid's menu. It included an egg, sausage, and toast. The egg was cooked over easy and was good. The sausage was pretty good with a slight sweetness and savory flavor. The toast was crunchy with some butter. I really enjoyed the ube hot cocoa. It was very sweet with the whipped cream and marshmallows. Very refreshing drink. Loved it. The ube latte was good. We had it with a shot of espresso. We also opted it iced. It was a good drink as well. Not as sweet, but still good. Service was pretty good. The cashier was very nice to us and efficient. Our food came in on time without too much of a wait. We felt very welcomed in this place. Very enjoyable experience here. Would definitely come back next time!

No, that isn't a color you find in nature but absolutely scrumptious nonetheless.

We got the buttercream bread, sweet rice donut, chocolate cloud cake, milk cornet, and the strawberry milk bread. For drinks we got the red velvet hot cocoa and the caramel macchiato. The buttercream bread was my absolute favorite out of the bunch. The butter cream wasn't too sweet and the bread was sooo soft. The ratio of cream to bread was just right, so each bite of bread had a sweet balance of the fluffy cream. The sweet rice donut was okay. To be, it could have been more softer, but it was expected for it to go stale a little bit since it's been out lying for a while. Some things are just unavoidable. The chocolate cloud cake was really good, but there was so much cream. Unlike the buttercream bread, there was imbalance here, but I adored the giant strawberries sandwiched between the cream. The consistency of the actual cake was perfect though, because sometimes I know it can get really soggy from the cream. Next time I would give another cake a try instead. The milk cornet was great! Tried it out because it seemed really popular; there was only one left. This pastry like a croissant stuffed with milky cream. The cornet was perfectly crunchy and the milk cream wasn't too sweet. Next time, I want to give the blueberry version a try. The strawberry milk bread impressed me. It was super soft, and I like how there was a really small amount of cream. Like, I understood what the cream was trying to do there. One bite of just bread would be pretty dry, but a little bit of cream can help smooth things out but still keep the spotlight on the bread. The red velvet hot cocoa drink was what surprised me the most. I suppose this drink is Valentines day edition, so it's not always here. I was so surprised when I opened the lid and saw hot pink foam! Like, DANG! Tous les jours really went out of their way to give us a sip of Valentines day! This drink is on the sweeter end, though. A friend said that the caramel macchiato was just okay, nothing surprising or impressive about it. I guess it was a safe order. The baristas were really efficient with our drinks; both drinks took five minutes or less! I love the interior of this bakery. So cute yet so easygoing. Perfect ambiance for catching up with some girlfriends!

Anyone that knows me knows my last meal in life would consist of Berry Pie for dessert. I look and there it is a Mixed Berry. I turn and ask the lady after she was done with her customer how much for this delight? She said it's $24. Without question I grabbed said pie, and went to the register. I told her that Berry is my favorite, and she went on to say that every Friday is Pie Day. She also mentioned that if I ever needed anything in particular, I could call ahead. She could have it prepared for me. Wonderful lady and beautiful service. Might I add that a pie of this weight and stature normally runs about $35 even $40 in some places. We had a slice the next day because I could not bear it any longer. Without lie this is the best pie I've had in years!!!! Years or even perhaps ever. I could take a pic of pie now but it's partially gone. Not so picturesque.

From the moment you walk in, the bold yellow and white decor puts you in the best mood. It's the kind of place that's impossible to feel sad in. The food? Absolutely incredible. The portions are generous, everything comes out beautifully wrapped, and the quality is top-notch. We ordered burritos and croissants and not a single thing disappointed. The iced drinks are dangerously good -- creamy, refreshing, and the perfect complement to the savory bites. That red, white & blue drink? A vibe of its own. But honestly, what made the experience unforgettable was the atmosphere. We came in as a group and left feeling like we'd had a full-on celebration. The staff, the energy, the food -- everything just clicked. If you're looking for a fun, feel-good spot to share a meal with people you love, Egg Happiness it is! Highly, HIGHLY recommend!

Ambiance is cheerful with bright yellows. They have a self service kiosk and a robo server which brings the order out. We got three sandwiches and a coffee. Good things first- *the eggs were super fluffy and the sandwiches were humongous. Can we shared by two in my opinion. What did not work- *Every sandwich we got had burnt toast, not golden but black color. *The sandwiches were all leaky, too much fat or sauce or just super runny eggs. Definitely not appetizing. *the eggs were not seasoned, the sandwiches overall were pretty bland and needed seasoning.
