Took my out of town family there not once but twice and they loved it! So grateful it passed the test for their yumminess and good customer service overall! My cousin and I met up here for brunch. We were looking for places that were between Tracy and San Jose, and this place was in that midpoint vicinity. Got there around 9:30am. It wasn't busy for a Saturday morning! Lucky! Got a table right away and got in line to order. The pastry display is so tempting! There's also a specials menu right at the register. Discovered a nice breakfast place in Dublin. Breakfast is my favorite meal to eat out and l love finding new places. My buddy recommended this spot and what a great choice. I like its neighborhood vibe and it seems like its frequented by a lot of locals. I was starving an order the Niko's 2 Great Breakfast. I always order a standard entree to gauge the quality of the cooking. I figure if they can get the basics right there's a good chance that other items on the menu will be good. So, eggs over-easy, sausage, bacon, English muffin and lots of black coffee. I love it when the sausages are plumb and the bacon thick. Some places I've tried had small sausage and bacon, which left me wanting more. Thankfully, DRFK was not the case. There were generous servings of everything. My buddy had a breakfast croissant and it looked really, really good. I think I will try that the next time I visit. Service was good. I placed my order at the counter and paid. The big portion of rice must have been sitting because it had a crust on it, the Asian slaw was green and purple cabbage sliced wide with very little dressing and the veggies weren't cooked enough for me. If I lived in the area, this place would be on my list of restaurants to go to. You order food and pay at the counter. They will bring out your food to your table when it is ready. First time I've had it was in San Diego and this time my son told me to try the one at The best part was the whipped cream. it was more solid than standard whipped cream, which made it good . I found this place when looking for a breakfast location. I am so glad I got to try this place. It is fantastic. It is in a strip mall and there was a good amount of parking spots but it was pretty packed. We were there for breakfast. There was a couple of people in front of us. You order from the counter and then they bring you food when it's ready. There is a display case with all the fresh pastries at the counter. It looked so yummy that I had to get one too. My wife wasn't too hungry and she knew I was going to order a lot so we just shared. I had to get Le Souffle Pancakes. they looked so enticing. It takes 30 minutes for this item. I decided to get them. Next was the Kalua pork hash. Lastly the Lilikoi Supreme Croissant. We got our number and went to a booth in the back. They brought out the Kalua Pork Hash. Wow it was like being in Hawaii actually even better. The pork was so tender and juicy. I was dying. Melt in your mouth. Since we were in the back we could see our Souffle being made. First being cooked on one side then she flipped it in the machine. It came out all fluffy. It was jiggly. SO the only downside is it tasted like they used packaged mix and not their own. Came by on a Wednesday for brunch. I have never been here but my buddy said it was his go-to so I had to try Denica's. The restaurant gave off diner-vibes, with a section of freshly baked goods in a glass display case. Honestly, I don't even know how to categorize the meal we had because it was a fusion but it was really good. We ordered at the register and then took a Number Placard back to the seat we chose to sit at (self-seating). While we were waiting for our food, my friend showed me the salsa bar with complimentary tortilla chips (pretty wild, but it was good!). The food came out within 15-20 minutes of ordering. We got the Ube-Stuffed French Toast and the Kalua Pig Hash. My favorite was the ube-stuffed french toast! The fruits were fresh, the ube filling had a great balance of sweetness that perfectly complimented the fruit and whipped cream. Overall, the toast was thick and fluffy and YUMMY! I would drive all the way back just to have this again! The Kalua Pig Hash was also a great dish. It had potatoes and kalua pork, topped with an egg and your choice of a bread (toasted). Denica's is delicious! It was our first time trying Brunch in Dublin and we don't regret our choice! We didn't know this, but you may grab menus and a table and order at the front counter when you are ready. There are two entrances -- one for to go (left door) and one for dine in/ordering (right side). However, there are seating on both sides so there is plenty of space! We went on a weekend and it was packed but we managed to get there just in time before the crowd came in. Denica's has a large menu and it was honestly quite hard to pick what we wanted. We got a giant cinnamon roll as an appetizer because we were starving, but it was a mistake because it is ginormous! It was $8 but the price reflected the size. We ate half before we decided to stop or else we'll be too full to finish our food. It was really good and I would recommend requesting it to be warmed up or maybe taking it to go instead of eating it first. There is a large variety of pastries and desserts and it looks so yummy! I can imagine that people come in just to get some pastries and leave. We ordered the Nutella Latte, which was delicious! Dark, thick, rich, but not too sweet. Had a nice deep coffee taste. I would absolutely order that again. For the iced banana cream matcha latte, I would skip out on it. The matcha isn't very strong and is quite diluted once you mix it in and tasted quite milky. The banana cream flavor was strong and all I could taste. I requested to change it to coffee and they added it in -- but then it didn't have the strong banana cream flavor. I wouldn't get it again and would recommend trying their other delicious sounding options. Thank you to the staff for being so understanding and trying to make my drink taste good. I got the eggs Benedict which I enjoyed. It was really good and flavorful. I loved that the potatoes were crispy. I don't like to leave bad reviews.... With that said. I have been eating at Dublin Denica's since 2010. Unfortunately, you are only as good as the last meal you made. Now, I can forgive a mistake here and there but when you do so many things wrong over time it takes a toll. I will not go into detail but someone needs to take a hard look at what is happening starting at the order taking all the way through to the arrival or picking up of the food. This isn't cheap fast food. There is a supposed to be premium to their product at every step and the costs reflect that. So, when there is a flaw in my mind it is glaring and magnified. 5 stars for Denica's! It's been a go-to brunch spot in the tri-city area whenever we're in the mood for something special. Specialty dishes are around $25 each with generous portions. The French toast Josephine (not pictured) has been a favorite of mine through the years because of the carmelized bananas and we last tried the Kalua Pork Hash (the most juicy pulled pork with sweet sauce) which is now another top item for us. I enjoyed the Spanish Latte and would definitely get that again- but expect a sweet dessert-like latte, but not as rich as Urth's. I'd pass on the ube latte (tasted like melted ube ice cream, we thought there'd be espresso in it), and the ube french toast (soft toast with delicious ube halaya, but didn't enjoy the ube custard. Maybe the ube pancakes would be better. We've also tried the breakfast sandwich which is just okay.
