Plenty of parking at 9am on a Monday. Clean, bright atmosphere inside with lots of seating. Cashier was prompt and friendly. Large selection Of pastries, cakes and macrons. I got almond croissant. It looked good but it's very dry with almost no almond inside the pastry. This is the reason for low rating- a place like this should have an excellent croissant! We had looked forward to the opening of this bakery as the name alone implied possible wonderful things to come. Since we don't live in Mansfield, we missed the grand opening and found our way there after a doctor's appointment! For us, it turned out to be a mixed bag. It never occurred to me that bread would be greater than a day old for instance. Therefore, I have to suspect pastry is too. Our order was to go and unfortunately I grabbed a baguette that was actually beyond sell by date. Buyer beware, I guess. It felt soft, so I didn't inspect anything else. Even the grocery store baguettes are made daily. The limited pastry descriptions were problematic for me in making decisions. I would recommend using your phone's online menu. My Raspberry Almond Croissant, a Croissant supposedly filled with almond cream and raspberry preserves, topped with toasted almonds, raspberries, and powdered sugar simply didn't have any almond cream. Not a bit. Dry as bone except for the raspberry preserve layer. A real disappointment. However, the mini fresh strawberry and lemon cream croissant was delicious. Loved it. Try the Sticky Milk Buns at home with butter and cinnamon sugar. It's sweet bread topped with sweetened condensed milk. We loved it with breakfast. The sliced bread came in a small tin. My husband had the most amazing coconut cream pastry - just scrumptious - and a walnut cream bread, a long bun filled with walnut buttercream, topped with almond cream, walnuts, and powdered sugar. He likes walnuts and enjoyed it very much. People at the counter were friendly, but no one ventured out to check on customers looking at pastries. The restaurant is a sunny airy place with clean restrooms. They have outdoor tables and chairs. It's just too cool right now. read more

I was looking for a breakfast spot and thought of this place, not fully knowing what it was, I decided to give it a try. Wow! Talk about pastry heaven! There were so many options both savory and sweet and it was hard to make a decision. The young ladies at the counter were helpful and sweet and warmed our pastries up quickly. The packaging was done in a thoughtful manner with a tissue between items, which I appreciated. The place is spacious and had indoor and outdoor seating. They have lots of drink options as well. I tried the four cheese quiche, the garlic croissant, a blueberry and cream brioche, and an egg salad sandwich. It was all delicious! I have already gone back to Paris Baguette in Florida to look for the Brioche pastry again because it was that memorable! I definitely will be going back again very soon. I've already told several friends to go check them out because they love pastries as much as I do and I'm so glad I found them! We love going to Paris baguette! You go in and take a tray, some tongs and a sheet for your tray and pick out whatever your heart may desire. We love that even though they have a ton of sweets they aren't overly sweet. Any sweet cheese bread is our jam. They had the Korean BBQ items in May that were to die for. The chicken pesto sandwich is delish. You can have any sandwich toasted as well. The cakes are works of art and decently priced as well. They also have teas, coffees and other drinks as well. First time at this location, and well, just a few things that stood out. The cashier who boxed our pastries placed everything in the box with the plastic wrapped cookies on top of the donuts. Not even thinking to place one of the papers in between to cover the donuts first, I mean, the donuts don't have a cover, so to place something that could be dirty on the food, yah, that's not good. Also, they could do better with the trays that we would place our food on. They were all pretty much covered with sugar and food, all piled on one another. The least they can do is wipe them down so they're not sticky for the next person. Other than that, here are my reviews... The strawberry mochi donut was delish. It had the perfect chew and the flavor wasn't too sweet. Definitely one of my faves. The orange zest cronut was ok. It was too much cream inside for my liking and not enough orange flavor. The walnut bread cream, whatever it's called was also ok. The buttercream inside had the perfect sweetness. I just wish the bread wasn't over baked. The cookies were yummy. They were a good size especially for the price. Overall, I do enjoy their pastries. Just need to improve on some things. read more

Look, don't judge me...okay? Yes, I really like this place and I'll say it over and over. Now, we got that out of the way, so let's get to the review! First, thank you PB for thinking of us and bringing a bag full of treats. We LOVED them. After the day we had, this added a boost to the rest of the evening. I tell ya, when you work with patients for twelve hours a day, three days a week w/ some picked up shifts, things like this will add a "YIPPIE" to the, "I'm ready to go home!" May I add, take care of yourselves and stay hydrated; the flu and RSV are alive and well. Okay, enough of that. I will mention my favorites: The quiche: ALL of them, are fantastic. Of the three I have tried, thus far, all have been exceptional. The flaky crust, the perfect amount of ingredients, the seasoning; it is so well put together. Please, if you're willing to try something different and new, their quiche will not fail you. Pepperoni Pizzetta: Now, this is giving the quiche a run for its money, however, it will remain my number two. Again, you have a beautiful light and buttery crust. The cheese isn't overdone, but is the perfect amount along with a touch of sauce. The pepperoni, is bold and very flavorful. I really like this one. Pastry Frank: I don't know what type of frank is used and thanks to Google, they said it's a secret and PB keeps it under wraps. Hey, I don't blame them, that is one heck of a delicious frank. Should I mention the crust, heck no, you know it was delicious. Lavender Matcha: I liked this one, but I will say, I feel the lavender should be blended with the matcha. The lavender was sitting at the bottom of the drink and I had to mix it, before tasting it. I do plan to try their other matcha drinks. As always, the presentation is always neat and clean. Paris Baguette has been open officially for a couple of weeks now. I came here during lunch hour. I asked the employee for help, and he was able to assist me right away. You walk in, grab a tray & a pair of tongs, and you're good to go! You're able to pick from multiple pastries. They will be able to ring it up at the front. The employees are steady trying to fill in the pastries. You can also request for it to be toasted right up front if you want it warm. I would say the area by the cashier where you grab the plastic ware, straws, etc. had dirty towels and trays just sitting right on top of it. I think the employee was cleaning it and just left it up there. Not a pretty sight to see unfortunately. Nice place to sit and chill with friends or get some studying done. Music isn't too loud. Pastries and drinks are good. Pastries were reasonably stocked on a Sunday. Staff are all very nice. We enjoyed it. We love Paris and we love French food. Especially their breads, pastries and sandwiches. Paris Baguette had only been open a week when we stopped by this week. There was a bit of a line but it went reasonably quickly. Upon entry, you grab a tray and tongs, then make your way down the line of self-serve enclosed glass cases with shelves of fresh good. We chose a savory breakfast sandwich, an Almond Croissant and another sweet pastry. In line, the offered to heat our sandwich which we allowed. Then we ordered coffees, paid and sat down. A few minutes later, we walked back up to collect our coffees. The breakfast sandwich was tasty, though the ham and cheese in the center of the sandwich was untouched by the heating process. Next time, we'll ask for a longer heating cycle. The pastries were good. Not as good as made that morning in Paris, but better than most places we've been in the US. We also took some dessert pastries home for later that same night. My wife's was sort of ho-hum but mine was fabulous. I had what I guess would be a cro-nut?? Sort of like a doughnut that was made in layers of pastry, then cut out with a donut cutter. It had a filling in the center and had a sugary coating. SO GOOD! We'll be back to Paris Baguette and we'll try other items and for sure, we'll ask for our heated items to be heated a bit longer. read more

My first time checking out the new cafe in Mansfield, even though I've been to the one in Arlington. The parking lot is cramped and they need to add more parking spaces. The cafe is smaller than the other location. I ordered a cake and some pastries, and they were delicious. The customer service was just not to my liking. I wanted to purchase a cake slice for a friend bday. I work in corrections so every has to be in a clear container. I asked if I could be accommodated by using a plain sandwich box. The ladies cumen and Briana didn't even try to accommodate me. They didn't even ask. I was NO WE CAN'T give a different box. Being a clean person I didn't want to purchase the cake slice then having to remove it to a different container. I cancelled the entire order because they showed no customer service. Cumen went back to doing drinks no customer service whatsoever! No let me try to help. Most places I have gone to will accommodate when I explain my WHY. Please treat people better ! read more

You grab a tray and paper to on it and then try hard not to put every pastry on tray ;) because up next is sandwiches and then full desserts. I've visited several Paris Baguette locations across DFW, but my experience at the Mansfield location on 2/12 around 10 am was disappointing. When I arrived, there was only one employee working the register and another making coffee. The cashier was extremely slow. At one point, a customer had an item that needed to be warmed up, and instead of continuing to ring up that customer, she waited by the oven, causing the line to build. I've been to other locations where they box items that did not require heating and then would let us know when items were done by call our name like the coffees. I was second in line and the phone rang instead of continuing with the next transaction, she answered the phone and stayed on the call for quite some time not acknowledging customers. There were about six people in line waiting at this point. I could tell the customer in front of me was getting frustrated since they were next and I was also confused by this action. The employee working the register could benefit from additional customer service training. A simple acknowledgment of the line or placing the call on hold to assist waiting customers would have made a big difference. Thankfully, a gentleman arrived around 10:30 am quickly put away his belongings away, clocked in, and immediately began helping customers. He was polite and efficiently checked out both the person in front of me and me while the other employee remained on the phone. If he hadn't arrived when he did, we likely would have continued waiting until she finished the call. Kudos to the employee who stepped in at 10:30 am his professionalism and sense of urgency was greatly appreciated. read more

Admittedly this is our first visit to a Paris Baguette so we didn't know what to expect. We visited the website menu before to decide on sandwiches. Neither selection was available and other choices were slim to non existent. We asked about getting our choice and were told they don't make more sandwiches and that what was out was all they had. So we settled on crab cake and a couple of pastries to share. Crab cake was just ok. Pastries were good and as this is a bakery they should be good. Cappuccino missed the mark, though. Came in today for their opening and loved the service and pastry options. The place was gorgeous and has incredible decoration but was absolutely filthy. There was a pretty normal amount of customers here and multiple staff yet every single table and every inch of the floor it seemed was covered in crumbs and just not clean. Love, love, love the new location! As always, their pastries never disappoint and the quality is what you come to expect from Paris Baguette. Go early, they WILL sell out (and that is totally normal). This location still seems a bit slow but it's only a matter of time before people realize it's open and it's booming like the Grand Prairie one. The fresh berry pastries are my favorite. Light, fresh, and not too sweet. Try the strawberry with lemon custard or the mixed berry pastry with lemon custard! The sweet potato pastry is also a hit in our house, mochi donuts, and the cakes.
