Made an order for birthday cake days in advance only to be told on the pick up date itself that "they no longer make this cake". Could have told me way earlier so that I can have alternative plans. Now I have a birthday coming without a cake. Thanks Paris Baguette Princeton for the thoughtfulness! P.S. they did promise me a refund, but reading through some previous reviews I'd better check my credit card to make sure that the refund does come through. :/ read more

I stop here when I'm on a shopping mission at one of the stores located in the development, and I find myself hungry, want something fast, but don't want to spend much for it. It's not the place I go to when looking for a life-altering culinary experience--I go there when looking to feed my face fast and move along with my mission. I usually get one of their savory pastries or a croissant, or perhaps a pain au chocolat if the urge hits me. They all taste okay, and they get the job done. The only thing I've had there that was a definite "Never Again" was the hot dog--a desiccated disaster in every way imaginable. On the flip side, the cheese quiche has been a winner those times I had it. It didn't take me back to the Alsace, but it was better than average. I had some cake from here recently. Visually, it looked fantastic, and the interior was moist (dry cake is a crime!), and it had all kinds of chocolate on it and in it, but the flavor was just "good". My socks remained on after tasting it. It was like they left the something special out that would have taken it from good to memorable. It looked great, but the taste didn't quite live up to the visuals. I'd eat it again, but I wouldn't go out of my way to get it for someone's birthday. The people working there are nice, but it can be a bit slow sometimes to make it through the register during the breakfast or lunch hours, especially if there's an indecisive person in front of you who changes their mind every fifteen seconds while picking up some pastries for the office, and she's oblivious to the five people waiting in line behind her. Although it's not the sort of place that's going to me primary destination, I'll keep on going here when I'm starving and need something to get me through my trip to the Home Depot. I enjoy coming here for a great iced matcha or hot matcha. The sweet treats are phenomenal. Brought my mom here for lunch dates many times. Always a good experience. Ambiance is very nice. Love the outdoor seating. Inside gets too crowded for me to sit down and eat I always get elbowed by someone haha. Overall great brunch/coffee stop. I do think and suggest they hire more staff as it gets very busy. The girls that work there do their best but I can tell they work under pressure because they have to move quickly, that's unfair to them as employees. Came for their Happy Hour promo. The choices were slim and all bunched together. Service was ok. The place is smaller than most locations and shows a little wear and tear, esp the restroom. Food consistency was on point though. read more

We stopped here on a whim Since we were trying out just salad next door- I never knew it was even there. It's cute, nicely decorated and clean. The pastries and coffee were good, staff were nice. The price was high though, $8 for an individual slice of cake, $5.50 for a donut. I was concerned with the hot dogs and ham filled pastries sitting in the container all day. Not under heat etc. they have a glass container when you walk in and it's grab and go. read more

You're not in Paris and they don't sell Baguettes so the brand promise seems a tad aspirational. However, what they do sell are tasty pastries and cakes that fully embrace the notion of the "Princeton Price." Expect to drop a copious load of Euros for take home baked goods that test the boundaries of fairness and credulity even in a zip code infamous for luxurious pricing. It might be cheaper to fly into Paris and pick up some Baguettes there. Three stars. read more

Love this place - I'm a big fan of Paris Baguette in general and their Nutella collection has me in love. The only issue I have with this location is that they are VERY slow at check out. I waited almost 15 minutes just to pay for a single croissant with only five people ahead of me, which is a bit crazy in my opinion. I really wanted a coffee but at that point knew it was going to take another 15 minutes so I just ran next door to blue lane. Overall worth it for a little treat as long as you aren't in a rush on the weekends! I really recommend the nutella cronut:) read more

I tried ham cheese sandwich with a black coffee which was tasty. I was there Friday 11am and there weren't too many people in the bakery. The selections of pastries not much of variety compare to Edison or Fort Lee location. Also, the seatings are limited. read more

Waiting in line for 10 minutes because they only have one register open. As a result, people sitting at some of the tables have to look at butts. Annoying. They have good stuff but as another poster had said, I try to avoid coming back. read more

On Mon. 1/19 at 4 pm, I ordered a Caprese Baguette sandwich in the PB app and sent it to the Nassau Park Pavilion store by accident. (I was in the Plainsboro store). I called the NPP store to cancel (was not able to cancel in the app) and it took 2 different people and 4 min to cancel the order. They unfortunately did not refund my money, however. I just called (Thurs. 1/22) and spent almost 10 min on the phone and provided the order number at least 5 times only to be asked when I was going to come into the store as she did not believe I placed the order. I told her that I'd was not able to come in nor was I able to keep calling to follow up on this and that I'd just dispute it with my credit card, which I just initiated. Great concept, food and drinks are good, people are really nice BUT the wait to checkout during busy times is enough to make me not come back until they have it under control. Between the pickup orders and the line people were walking out as only one person was handling everything on a weekend. (They kept ringing up orders and no one was making drinks- took 30 minutes to get drink after already paying for food) Only 4 tables inside and a few bar stools so again, if busy, not going to have a place to enjoy the food. Some pleasant music playing in the background. Had to subtract 2.5 stars due to ridiculous wait and lack of ability to handle walk-ins and online orders in an efficient manner. Manager finally started helping but then stopped. Not sure if it is a lack of management knowledge or just not caring about the business. Again, the younger staff was excellent trying to do what they could. read more

Food was very good. Sandwiches are pre-made but still good. I didn't have any dessert but they looked wonderful. The only complaint I have is the bottle of Coke was flat no fizz at all. I cannot blame that on the establishment though. Seating was crowded but seats were very comfortable. They also have outdoors seating with umbrellas, very cute. I was anxiously awaiting for a Paris Baguette to come to my neighborhood and it finally opened up. I've been there three times - the first time was a nice experience with good food and service. Being a Paris Baguette rewards member they told me that I could scan the QR code from my receipt to get the rewards from my purchase added to my account. I tried to do it via the Paris Baguette app but it didn't work. The second visit was also good and I mentioned to the staff that I was unable to scan the QR code from my previous purchase and they told me there was an issue with the app and to try again. Unfortunately my third visit was not a good experience for several reasons. I ordered a cake online for pick up two days later. When I went to pick up the cake I asked the person behind the register if I could redeem my free drink rewards offer and he said yes but I would need to make a purchase. I told him that I purchased the cake so why would I need to make another purchase and he said that I should have redeemed the free drink with purchase when I placed my order online two days ago. Why would I need to make another purchase since I was purchasing/picking up my cake at that same moment?? Didn't make any sense to me. Then I shared with him that I was still unable to scan the QR code from a few weeks ago because the Paris Baguette app had issues with scanning. He tried to let me scan another QR code at the register but it did not work. Then he tells me that since my receipt was from a few weeks ago , it is too old and not scannable . So now I was also unable to get the rewards from my previous purchase. At that point I asked to speak to the manager and he tells me he is the manager. I shared with him that I was very disappointed with the service I was receiving because he did not honor the free drink rewards offer unless I made another purchase (eventhough I just purchased a cake) and I was unable to get the rewards for a previous purchase solely due to their app having scanning issues. After all this frustration I was then offered the free medium beverage but I declined it because by that time it was just too late. Lastly when I finally get the cake I realize that it did not have the Happy Birthday message that I had requested in the Special Instructions on the online order, He said that they did not see the Special Instructions. I waited another few minutes for them to add the message and when I get the cake I notice that they wrote the wrong name . Once again - I had to wait a few minutes for them to them correct it. I love Paris Baguette and was so happy they opened one near me, however, the customer service at this location is very disappointing. Great baked goods, prices are a little steep for the area. Cashier service leaves something to be desired - slow and disorganized. Tables were dirty and water puddles were on the floor with no observed effort to clean up the area. read more
