I enjoy going to PB! So many options that look good. I really like the mango cream brioche bun and the pain au chocolate are my go to choices for the pastries. I like that their cakes aren't too sweet and they look cute. Staff is always friendly. I have ordered a matcha latte from here and wasn't as impressed though. When we bit into it, the items were all cold, we assumed it would be warm. I was able to take it back to the counter and get them re-heated. It would have been nice if someone had asked us that when we purchased them. The filings left some things to be desired. The pastry shop is located at the mall by the Asian food market which makes it convenient. It was clean and spacious when I visited Friday noon. The varieties are limited compared to tour les jour at West Windsor. The berry pastry tasted just ok, the black coffee was good. You can see pastry chef's making cakes in a booth. read more

This place is dessert heaven! Stopped in after eating dinner at one of the other restaurants in the area. Last time they were still getting ready to open, so I was ecstatic that they were finally up and running. It was an hour until close so the options were not as abundant as they would be midday. We got a mochi donut and some type of chocolate twist thing. Both were delicious! The donut was chewy with a mild strawberry flavor. The recent experience with your store was profoundly disappointing, highlighting systemic failures across your online ordering platform and in-store service. Initially, the mandatory online ordering process proved unreliable. I never received a confirmation email or text message for my first attempt, leading me to place a duplicate order. This ultimately resulted in two unauthorized charges on my credit card, necessitating a call to the store manager to rectify your system's error. Subsequent attempts to manage the order, including changing the pickup time, also failed to generate confirmation, forcing me to rely on personal screenshots as documentation. Upon arriving at the store, the lack of proper training among your clerks became immediately apparent. They claimed to have no record of my pickup time change, and their inability to correctly process the app-based order confirmation--requiring a name despite the system displaying a confirmation number and the last four digits of the credit card--suggests a fundamental ignorance of your own order-checking procedures. The request to re-write and re-state my details was redundant and inefficient. The situation was further compounded when the General Manager became involved. Instead of offering an apology or immediate resolution, the manager initially implied fault lay with the customer by stating two orders were still active. While one cancellation was eventually acknowledged, the process culminated in a decision to cancel the remaining order and purchase a discounted cake, a poor substitute for the original. The entire endeavor to simply pick up a cake consumed one hour of our time. More troubling than the technical and procedural failures, however, was the complete absence of any apology or acknowledgement of the significant inconvenience from either the clerks or the General Manager. I strongly urge a complete and immediate overhaul of your online ordering system and a comprehensive retraining of your staff, including management, on customer service and operational protocols. Without significant and demonstrable improvements in both service and system reliability, I will be compelled to take my business elsewhere. read more

I came Mother's Day around 4 o'clock and there wasn't much of a selection left but what I did get was DELICIOUS!! My father introduced me a couple weeks ago and ever since I've been craving. The staff was very friendly and as I was walking out with my 2 kids I was stopped and asked if I wanted a picture in front of their mother day decorations and was even given a Mother's Day balloon and card!!! Very sweet and thoughtful. Fast forward to today, I was passing by while getting dinner and had time to kill so stopped in. There was more of a selection (again last time was Mother's Day so granted they were BUSY!) but oh my..I got a decent amount today!! (See pictures) I shared the Nutella croissant and Nutella tart with my brother and son. I cannot wait until my boyfriend to get home and try the cakes and other pastries. I was really excited for a Paris Baguette to open near me, but I think there a few things that I wish could be improved on at this location. Before that, I wanted to note that the pastries are delicious. The latte is standard for a bakery, but I wasn't a fan of the cold brew. Found it a bit acidic which threw me off. I did, however, love the overall ambience and seating of the cafe. It was kept clean with chargers and steady wifi that was great for working. My main critique is that the overall customer service is quite slow and feels inefficient. There was a small line, but only one person was at the cashier while everyone else was on the side chatting. As the employee was making my drink, which also took a while, the employees didn't seem particularly focused on trying to finish the drink on time. read more

I do want to make a note that I was concerned about the lack of urgency the staff had when I pointed out that there was a fruit fly in the glass container where all the pastries were kept in. The fruit fly was just flying around landing on one pastry after the next. I picked my pastries on the opposite end hoping that it wasn't a victim of the fruit fly. When I told an employee about this, she said she'd swap out the pastries but she ended up just chatting with a coworker and didn't swap out the pastry even as I was leaving the store so who knows if they actually ended up taking out the contaminated pastries. read more

This review has nothing to do with the service, or quality, which I believe is the best in the area. My two criticisms have to with bread items. They seal their baguettes in a sleeve bag. This makes the crust soft, tough and unpleasant to eat. Baguettes should not be bagged until sold, or at least bagged unsealed, after they have thoroughly cooled. My second gripe is about their loaf bread. The sourdough is some of the best I've had on the east coast, but they slice it too thick. It should be slightly thinner. For eight dollars, we should be able to have it sliced they we want it. That's it. If they can make these two small changes, I'll be happy to patronize them. read more

I'm a huge fan of Paris Baguette and have been for well over a decade. Its always been a 5 star establishment. I have been waiting for a location to open in the Princeton/Plainsboro area for YEARS! My favorite thing in the whole world from here is the Ham and cheese on Baguette. It will literally change your world when you try it with a little bit of mayo/mustard. When I take a bite I cry a little bit. Its so good that I use to go to other locations extra early since it sells out fast daily! That's just the problem though. For some reason, this location has decided that they are NOT going to sell the Ham and Cheese Baguette. A Paris Baguette without the Ham and Cheese is like a Jersey Mikes without a Hoagie. I'm so upset over the decision to not sell the Ham and Cheese at this location that I am leaving this one star review. I will change it the moment the manager decides to put the Ham and Cheese on the menu at this location. Until then I will be checking back weekly at this location in person. I have been here 4x so i've really tried to give this chain the benefit of the doubt. 3 out of 4 times i have had stomach issues after eating here. If I had to guess, I think its due to the savory pastries (which often contain cream, meats, etc) not being stored at food safety temperatures. They are kept in pastry cases that do not seem to have climate control, and often times the doors are left open which means even if there was control, it has blown out. This review is purely on the pastry cases as you walk in, I cannot offer review of the cakes at the front or of the coffees, but considering they have left me feeling ill this many times I don't think it's a coincidence any more. read more

With the same gloves I was charged, same gloves my drink was being made. We always get food from here and they are generally good. This time for my daughter's birthday I got the rainbow cake which is a pricey cake compared to the size to begin with and unfortunately it was very dry from inside! I was initially confused about the chocolate stone, thinking it contained blueberries. A young gentleman kindly explained that the ingredients were listed on the display and took the time to show me the details, which was very helpful. Afterward, I ordered a brewed coffee with milk on the side from an older man at the cashier. I thought I had been charged for the milk, but he kindly reassured me.
