Foot long Italian, potato salad, and a small iced tea. Cost about $18.50, pricing

The potato salads, taste like store brought in the grocery store. Nothing special at all I would pass. The sandwich the bread was OK. Italian the cold cuts was so so to lower quality. What they call Italian is just ham and salami and it's not even very high-quality salami. And the ham is so salty. It's hard to taste anything else but the salt.

I found a gem in Wichita, KS! So I passed by this neatly tucked away restaurant 3x before I decided to stop in. Let's just say I regret not stopping the 1st time. Everything was absolutely amazing. Staff had great knowledge of the menu and help me decide how to make the best choice. Food came fast and with great flavor. Once finished, I had to share my experience so I also took to go a Tripple decker sandwich, Mesquite chicken baked potatoe, pumpkin spice cookie, and classic peanut cookie for my parents. I was excited to she these awesome "bites" with them. They gave great reviews of their meals aswell, overall experience and I will return.

Small establishment in a small strip mall. Not the largest sandwiches but good size. The stuffed baked potatoes are the right size for us, not humongous like some places but plenty big enough to fill us up. They don't have a huge menu but they have a very good selection of sandwiches both hit and cold.

So good!! You won't be disappointed! I ordered the baja chicken salad, there's so much flavor and I love the crunch from the fritos in it. Their cookies are AMAZING. The ultimate peanut butter cookie is to die for. Highly recommend their potatoes too, they are huge and super filling! I ordered online and picked it up, super easy and quick!

It's a great lunch spot! Service is always phenomenal. I always get the pot roast baked potato and it never disappoints.

City Bites has the best sandwiches in Wichita. Fresh bread and packed with ingredients. I love the hot and cold sandwiches. I've also used them to cater our parties. Thanks to Brian Bishop this place rocks!!!

The staff is attentive but not excited. I hope that makes sense. They are satisfactory but not fabulous. The baked potato was AMAZING! I have been seriously missing out. The potato was hot even after I got it home. Not warm freshly cooked, it was hot! The toppings were beautiful and in the perfect amount! I can and probably will eat this everyday! The birthday cook was so big! Not your typical cookie it was dense more like a blonde and fabulous! Can't wait to be back!

Not quite everything from the old location, but there is plenty of visual interest.

Maybe cinnamon blast, don't recall the exact name, but I asked for it to be toasted with butter. My wife was in the mood for pumpkin spice so she got it toasted with cream cheese. This place did not disappoint. I got a regular coffee with my bagel and it was really good. The bagel flavor was spot on. It took a little longer than expected to get our bagels but that was fine. We weren't in a hurry and they were incredibly nice. Oh, one side note. Be prepared to pay extra for butter and cream cheese. 85 cents for butter and I believe almost 3 bucks for cream cheese. That surprised me. But hey. I'd still eat there again. I would say the place is a little unkept. It's a neat place but the decor as you enter hasn't been cleaned in a while. The tables were clean but the area isn't really clean. My wife said the bathroom was gross. That was my biggest complaint. They need someone to look at the place through the eyes of a first time guest and would notice a ton of small cleaning issues. Otherwise this place is great. As I mentioned before, I'd definitely recommend this place for a great bagel.

The toasted part wasn't real good. I don't know if they might did or just lightly toasted it, but you didn't feel any kind of crunch And it only felt somewhat warm. But maybe the cream cheese is cool it. Service was good just probably wouldn't come back because of the price.

The dressing wasn't very creamy, the dressing needed more Parmesan cheese in it. I think they need to change the dressing recipe. The dressing didn't have much flavor unfortunately. On a positive note, I had never had ceviche and I asked if I could sample it and the kind clerk gave me a huge sample. It wasn't bad either just no flavor other than the jalapeno. Maybe some garlic would spice it up? but I don't know if ceviche typically has garlic. Anywho I really like the restaurant. They have a huge menu. I think I prefer their breakfast menu.

They have plenty of breakfast and lunch options. I ordered a Wichita club and a 5 pc BBQ chicken wings. The sandwich was good, just not enough mayo, which was ok because they have extra condiments on each table. They give you some sauce on the side that's similar to 1000 island dressing so I used that also and it turned out pretty tasty. It's a pretty big sandwich (3 big slices of sourdough bread) but could have used more lettuce . The meat was good and very thinly sliced. I didn't have room to eat the chicken wings there so I took them home. They look delicious and are covered in plenty of sauce. Good sized wings and they have other flavors also. Service was quick, friendly and easy. The place was also very clean with plenty of seating and tables.

Love a dive bar with some ambiance, history, and bar fare, so I was very excited when a colleague…read moresuggested the Artichoke for a quick sandwich and a beer for lunch while in Wichita for a conference. When we walked in, immediately we got seated (it was lunch on a Saturday)--got us a nice little booth with some green lit ambiance. The server checked on us to get our drinks quickly and then returned to take our order--definitely did an awesome job and thanks to the staff for all their work. Other reviews mentioned that the food wasn't necessarily the best or made in house--I can't speak to that, but I will say that the sandwich and potato salad hit the spot for me. This was exactly what I was looking for as a quick bite! I got the Famous #8 with potato salad as a side, and I ate that all up. They also had some domestic and local beers on draft, so I got an El Dorado company brew, and it hit the spot. The general Irish vibe was great, and if I get back to Wichita, I'll definitely be planning to hit up the Artichoke!

The soup is also not homemade, but it was good and was clearly from elsewhere. My sandwich was not enjoyable. As BLTs go, it was difficult to eat; the shredded lettuce was a fail, fallout everywhere, and not sure what kind of mayo they used but the flavor was not what I was expecting at all. The salad was sad for the up charge and similarly difficult to eat. My husband's sandwich was better, their signature number 8, but nothing to TikTok about. Service: 4/5 Good but not that friendly compared to the vibes the bar was giving. There was a disconnect somewhere. Ambiance: 3/5 The music started out too loud for how dead the bar was. Literally, it was us and about 6 other people but the live music was extremely loud. The singers were clearly professionals but they set themselves up for a fuller bar and were a little louder than the space required with that few people. I get that live music is loud and they eventually adjusted but initially it was jarring. They were good, but the lead singer was louder than her accompanying singer/ guitarist. I felt sad that they didn't get the chance to mix themselves better at the outset. Overall, this place should cut down their menu to items that are their best and probably have their live singers mix taking into account the number of patrons. I would probably come back but not as my first choice.
