I went in for a polish change on my toes - no pedicure. I added chrome to the polish and when I went to check out it was $60. I thought I misunderstood!! I like gel cat eye so picked color out, my nail stylist gave some suggestions and explained how the color would show up (I believe her name was Denali). Was kind, quick, and did an amazing job. They're gorgeous for almost 20 dollars less than the last salon I went to. But after I paid and left my car battery died outside. The gentleman inside (one of the techs) saw me calling roadside and told me he had a jump box. I was so grateful as I'd watched to hardware shop and coffee shop checking for a jump before returning to car. He was so kind and even recommended the brand to me. Nice little nail salon located in a shopping center I frequent for barre classes. They offer the ability to schedule appointments online - which I love. I want to be able to come in at a specified time and have my services rendered. Appointment started on time and nail tech wasn't overly chatty (I enjoy being able to simply relax). Not the best pedicure ever, but it's also $35 for a basic pedicure so I absolutely cannot complain when the going rates are nearly double. read more

I've never had such ridiculous upcharging .. $20 extra for gel (after pedicure was $65) for each pedicure, and $20 for each manicure , $20 basic manicure, $50 for dip, $5 for tip dipping, $8 for shape. 2 days later the dip nail manicure came off. In 1 week, all of the nails lifted and came off. Gel manicure started peeling on day 5. Just super disappointed at the quality for the amount we paid . read more

So, I decided to treat myself to a much needed pedicure. I have been here quite a few times, as it is convenient to my house. They were booked when I went in, so I recommend making an appointment ahead of time if you can. They were able to get me in about an hour later, which was perfect for my schedule. There were some definite changes to the interior since the last time I was here. The open concept along the walls makes it look much bigger. Paint and decor is brighter and has gorgeous wall murals. Chris was my nail tech. He was great. Made sure the water wasn't too hot, and made sure I was always comfortable. We had a great conversation laughing about family. The manager was also there and joined in joking around. I honestly had fun at my pedicure. Loved the laid-back, fun, familiar atmosphere. So let me just tell yall they charge you to take off the gel polish they put on... there prices are just so high I paid 62$ for a fill with 1 broken nail... and NO POLISH At All.... I never expected to pay more than 50$ for a fill with No polish and just know they don't surprise you with the prices until you are Done! was excited to go here for a mani-pedi after reading some great reviews. Unfortunately, I did not have a good experience. pedi was first, and my feet were barely in the water before she was already pulling them out to work on them. She cut my nails back (crooked, I noticed when I got home). I was suppose to get a Gel Pedicure but the selection of colors had nothing I wanted. To many solid light colors, I prefer darker colors that shimmer, glitter, etc. I finally settled on what looked like a red I have gotton at other salons. Except it wasn't. It was almost see through and a pinkish color not red. by this point I'm just over it because 1) I had all of a 10 min pedicure 2) the colors suck 3) this started a whisper fest between her and the tech next to her. I decided not to proceed with anything further and asked her to remove the polish. Which she did. When I went up to the register, I for some reason still gave her a tip, it wasn't her fault their color selection was poor. But then they still charged me for a full pedicure with gel polish. We were guests for my daughter's friends birthday party and she requested getting her nails done. So my friend made the appointment for the girls to have their nails painted ahead of time. We got there and had to wait 30 minutes before they got to us. As you can imagine, 5 and 6 year olds waiting that long can get kinda crazy. Brought my wife, daughters and their dance teacher here for a pedicure on 07/16. They had the first appointments of the day so I figured that this would be a great experience (like we have had many other times). Nope....the lady who was taking care of the wife was on her phone the entire time and the lady who was attending to one of my daughters was rude with her snatching her feet and snapping at her when she asked a question. I am amazed at how downhill this business has gone since moogie left....well I will say that I am 180 lighter and all I can understand is they want you out as quick as possible because they have other things to do. In the past the service wasn't as good as it used to be but they did a decent job.. but after this visit it wasn't even a decent job so obviously being a regular customer isn't important anymore so peace out. read more

Honestly kind of disappointed. I have been here before and loved what I got. This time I had John do my nails and did not receive what I asked for. On top of this he was rude and I felt like I was being jerked around. For example I was asked what length I wanted and he then gestured to my phone. When I showed him my phone he was aggressive and said "no show me". I am now the third person that has had him and been disappointed with his service. None of the nails have been as we requested, one asked for blue nails and received purple, another asked for almond French tips and he cut them too short and then said that he could not do them. read more

I wasn't going to leave this review so now I am. Got my nails done back in November and I'm just leaving this review because after disputing the charge of $103 dollars with my bank this salon fought against it. As you can see in the pictures the nails were poorly shaped. My cuticles were injured. The polish was applied messily and the light wasn't left long enough to cure it. Resulting in peeling and bubbling. I got a pedicure and my feet were heavily scrubbed with pumice and left scratches. I came to get my nails redone a second time to be fixed and the SAME thing happened. He saw the mess up and refused to return my money after I explained how unhappy I was. I am appalled. I'm new to Summerville so I'm shopping around for a new nail salon. I had to make a stop at the UPS store next door & saw this salon open on a Sunday so I decided to try them out. The person who greeted me was nice but the owner (wore a hat with "boss" on it) stood at the register and just stared at me. I said hello and he said hello back. He ended up doing my nails. He was rough and bumped my skin multiple times with the electric file. I would pull my hand away and he would just pull it back. He was snappy when I asked him to make my pinky nails a little more sharp as they're stiletto shaped & not almond and he told me to wait until he did the powder. There was a lot of eye rolling and blowing. He seemed like he didn't want to do my nails or as if I was bothering him by spending my money with them today. The other customers on either side of me seemed to be enjoying their conversations with the ladies doing their nails. He took a long time to file my nails and ended up cutting me twice, one finger started to bleed as I left. I haven't been cut in years! I got no apology nor did he ask if I was alright. He said I'll put this on and put a blue liquid on my pinky that felt like pure acid. It was extremely painful. I was really ready to go at that point but only had the painting left to do. I was excited to try this salon, but this is sadly our first & last time. I didn't think that our appointment would take 3 hours. After reading the reviews I decided it would be better to make an appointment. Upon arrival it was obvious that having an appointment didn't matter. The establishment didn't have staff to check clients in, but had an iPad they required you to sign in with. They also took walk ins ahead of scheduled clients. My daughter & I's appointment was at 2:30 on Sunday. Yelp said they close at 5. It took about 45 minutes before anyone acknowledged or even spoke to us. We scheduled two mani pedis. I wanted dip on my hands & regular polish on my toes. My daughter wanted acrylics on her hands & regular polish for her toes. Her technician refused to do the acrylics she asked for & complained about how he was ready to leave because he had a long day. I came prepared with a picture of the style I desired & was asked to to explain to my technician multiple times why I chose the design. She began a side conversation with the male technician near her basically saying common sense would be buying press ons for a French manicure. After visiting establishment & experiencing what we did yesterday I'd say spending your money in an establishment that deserves your business! This one isn't it! Their time management & customer service skills are not at the level they should be when dealing with clients. The staff is comfortable making personal calls in the middle of your nail appointment. Just ok experience for a few reasons. Pros: -Quick Service -Staff is courteous, a few seem friendly even -Salon is clean -I made an appointment and they respected that time. Cons: -Push to get gel manicure, which every place is doing now. Gel manicures peel off incredibly quickly and I don't like the way they have to roughen the nail first since I'm trying to grow mine out a bit. Gel manicure here is $36 before tip which is a little much. I feel like it shouldn't be more than $30. This is not new technology anymore, everywhere offers gel manicure and it doesn't even take that much longer to do at this point since they can put one hand under the lamp as the other is being painted. Even if you factor the gel polish in, a $16 upcharge from regular is ridiculous. -Because they want you to get gel, they gave me a crappy top coat when I got a regular manicure. Literally no brand name, just says "top coat". Still paying for $20 manicure, $24 after tip, so at least give me a decent one. Of course, I just topped it with my own top coat when I got home. Maybe take your own in. -Didn't clean up completely so I still had a bit of nail polish around my nails which is my pet peeve. If I wanted that, I could easily just paint my nails myself. Seriously that's the whole reason I got a manicure, I was paying for the expertise and didn't get it. I won't be coming here again because I feel you're not really getting what you pay for. I had a far better $15 manicure two weeks ago. But the service wasn't terrible, just mediocre. read more

Sorry to say worst pedi ever. 50.00 gift from my daughter, didn't even need to do polish because I'm having surgery in another week. Poor prep, lazy leg massage, terrible nail trim. The male tech was obviously not into his job. When I found out later he was the owner I was shocked even more. So sorry my sweet daughter spent 50.00 for this. $45 plus a $5 up charge for covid-19 cleaning. I would think they would be happy to keep their place clean and have business come in rather than charge you additional for it, but oh well...Lady who did my daughter's pedi did a nice job, was pleasent and did beautiful polish. I try to indicate I needed a good firm massage but he totally ignored me and did a very minimal massage. Spent a fraction of the time on me even though I was started here for you to my daughters. Pretty bad when you don't even need to do polish and you still leave Nails ragged, not smooth or even - I have 25.00 pedi in Jacksonville Florida including polish that is so much better and such a professional experience. I'm not impressed. I went to this salon based off the yelp reviews, I went in for powder dip manicure. The owners wife Te did my nails. They don't even use the correct application of the powder gel. If I wanted a gel manicure I would have asked and paid for a gel manicure. And for what I paid my nails should have come out much nicer then they did.
