Best pedicure experience I have had in Summerville yet! The owner and other employees were very kind and helpful when we walked in. We were seated right away. They showed me how to use the message chair and then gave me many color options to choose from. They also handed me the prices and options (pictured below). I decided on the pedicure in a box, I like this because you can choose between lots of different "flavor" options. Lavender, cucumber, citrus, mango, etc. I decided on green tea detox. Bonus: Smelled amazing!! Chelsea was amazing. I did not feel like I was being rushed, she had excellent communication with me and she had amazing message skills for my pedicure. This was my first visit to this salon. I decided to give them a try because they were conveniently located near where I was running errands. I originally asked for dip removal and gel polish. The receptionist then asked if I would like to add a manicure, and I agreed. However, what I received was essentially the dip removal and gel polish I had originally requested. There was no cuticle trimming or grooming and no hand massage, although cuticle oil was applied at the end. While removing the dip, the tech filed a small hole into my thumbnail. Fortunately, it was near the end of the nail and we were able to clip that portion off. I've had my nails professionally done for many years and have never had this happen before. When I looked at the spot, he told me it was because my nails were weak. I understand that nails can be thinner after wearing dip, but I would have appreciated a simple acknowledgment that it happened during the removal. The tech also took a lengthy phone call during my appointment. I wasn't timing it, but I would estimate it lasted somewhere around 5-10 minutes. Overall, none of these things individually would have been a huge issue, but together they made for a disappointing first experience. Unfortunately, I don't think I'll return. read more

Decided to stop in because it was close and my nails needed to be done. I asked for a full gel set and a pedicure. I asked for a design and was told that he couldn't do it, but he had stickers. I obliged and was disappointed that the stickers did not successfully stick without him using nail glue to hold it down. The pedicure was good and relaxing. When I went there I ask for gel polish but not even a day later the polish had started to peel off while in the shower and I payed $45 for this. I expected the most expensive looking nails but it turned out to be cheap and not even coated properly.The owner also looked like he was in the rush, if he was in a rush he shouldn't have done them. I walked in on Friday afternoon to try out this nail salon. I had to wait for an hour to get a chair, but that was on me for not calling ahead. It wasn't a bad wait! They had a tv in the waiting room. I got a dip manicure done, and it was honestly one of the best I've gotten in a long time! I'm hoping it lasts. Super disappointed with my last experience here. I made an appointment which started 20 minutes late, even though I was on time. That was a little irritating but not a deal breaker. I was getting an acrylic fill with gel polish. The tech was pleasant however the work was awful. The acrylic was a little thick but that wasn't my biggest issue...it was the polish. He put on LAYERS of gel which made the nails look thick and lumpy. He said he needed to apply additional coats because the color was light. I have gotten light colors before and never had issues elsewhere. When I went to check out, a different tech did the transaction. I think he was the owner. I mentioned it to him--saying I wasn't happy with the amount of coats and all he said was that's how it has to be because of the color. I wasted money and went somewhere else to get them fixed. I go the dipping powder and usually they last 2-3 weeks. It only last 2 days and had to go back to get it redone. They did it for free but 2 more days and I had to get all my nails done at another nail salon because I was out of town and couldn't go back with half my nails chipped. read more

Tried this place for the first time last week. Was one of the better pedicures and manicures I have had. I choose gel polish on my nails. They lasted about 8 days and I removed them day 9 which for me is pretty good usually they chip in a day or two. Pedicure is regular polish and so far so good. I love this place. I mosey over after physical therapy for a pedi/mani. I had two major surgeries and could not reach my toes to properly care for them. The technician understood my needs and carefully cleaned and cut my nails. He even put on my socks and shoes. I really appreciated that. Make sure you request the pumice massage uses no pumice. Lol. The pedicure already has a sugar/salt scrub to exfoliate. So the added pumice detracts from the fragrant massage. I'll be going back. read more

Praise the Lord! This review is a must! My spiritual Mother, daughter and myself went to this Nail Spa. The gentleman that served my daughter was very inattentive and unprofessional. He told us one price but then when he realized someone was treating us he jacked up the bill by 30.00. Then when he got caught he said the person who also heard him that works there and confirmed the price he originally gave talks to much! He started yelling and being irate which is not acceptable when he already had 2 crispy brand new 100 dollar bills in his hand which was well over enough to pay for services and a healthy TIP which he did not deserve!! He was very RUDE UNPROFESSIONAL and then Jerry gets up to get in to it and it had nothing to do with it. Please learn to fight your own battles and stand up for Justice what is right not what was wrong and no good for service at all. I got a pedicure and wanted an extension nail on my big toe. The guy said I didn't need it because it would ruin my natural nail but I didn't care I wanted it done. At first, I was thrilled to have an appointment at 1115am. We are from out of town and wanted to finish our girls trip with a manI/pedi. (2 ladies) However, we didn't get seen until almost 12. We sat in the pedicure massage chairs for almost 40 minutes before we even got water in the foot bowls. The pedicure was nice, nothing exceptional. (Tropical) I previously had sns nails and needed a removal in order to have a new gel set to top my natural nails. The acetone baggie leaked on my lap and weren't quite removed by the time the technician started my new gel nails. The technician smudged my big toe and while it was repainted, I had to ask for a new topcoat because the one tow was a full color. Two and a half hours later we were done. (two pedis and two gel manis) not to mention, walk ins for SNS were finished before us. I understand processing times are different, but I had to sit in a random seat while customers without appointments were helped/completed first. Fast forward 13 hours, back in NC, my $33 gel manicure is chipping and peeling, as well as my decently manicured natural nails have peeled so much that I will need to have them fixed by a local salon in order to have them the same length And color/shape. I cannot return to have my nails fixed or repaired at this location, as I'm 4 hours away, in a different state. My $33 gel manicure turned into a $75+ manicure. Do NOT recommend. if you are understaffed, don't take appointments. Don't serve those waiting, that have an appointment before walk ins. read more

I went to this salon on a recommendation of a friend even though I am happy with the salon I had been using. Their deluxe package is less than deluxe in my opinion. The nail tech cut the nail on my little toe down to the cuticle almost and then trimmed the side to the point it bled. I spoke to the owner/manager Van and he could have cared less. Been on the hunt for a new place to get mother-daughter pedicures. Chose this one after peaking in after a grocery shopping trip next door at Lowes. Beautiful, new salon. We were even greeted when we first walked in. Everything went south from there. We requested two pedicures and were told they could do them in about 5 minutes. When they tried to start just one, we said we'd prefer to wait so we could have them together. So they quickly got us back with feet in the water- and started on one! But by that point, you can't hardly leave. It took 14 minutes for the second to begin- the first was already nearly done! To make matters worse, the staff wasn't the least bit friendly, were annoyed when we asked for more hot water to be added (after 20 minutes, it was cold!), etc. The worst part was that the pedicure itself was the most rushed pedicure ever. Barely longer than 15 minutes start to finish, minimal scrubbing, minimal massage...Will definitely not return and would urge anyone looking for a nail salon to check out any of the MANY others around town. read more

This location used to be my go to quick stop for my nails when I didn't have time to drive 30 minutes to my favorite salon. I will never go here again after this last visit today. I was rushed in picking out a color, the tech grabbed my hands before I could even look through the colors so I had to fumble with the color sticks with one hand. Once I choose my color he then questioned the color 3 times like "are you sure you want that color, don't go changing it on me", it was a neutral color not a crazy outlandish color. The nail technician was rude complaining the whole time about the length of my nails. Even after I explained that I can not have extensions because of my job he continued to complain. And my nails are not crazy short either!! They are to the tips of my fingers. He was supposed to do a manicure and dip nails and ignored the manicure part, my cuticles went untouched, parts of my nail are missing the dip because when he went back to file he chipped it and instead of fixing it he tried to cover it up with the top coat. He didn't even apply the top coat well so there is sections of shiny and spots of matte on each nail. My nail job was rushed. I will never return to this location. Very Rude. Very Rushed.
