First pedi since January,Covid and all. Needed to make this review because Paris Nails is taking safety to the upmost which I very much appreciate. My husband usually comes but is a senior and high risk so he will come next time. I am impressed! Masks required, if a customer does not have one you can purchase for $1. Door bell must be rung to gain entrance. Rules are to enter and immediately wash hands for thirty seconds. Owner does a thermal fever check which I've never had but cool. Plexi partitions. Only one other customer right now, she's wearing a black hat, black face mask and has long black hair she looks badass. Still got my bottle of water and the whole staff genuinely thankful for our business. I need happy feet but I really also feel good for supporting a local business. If you, during these weird, strange times, need a mani or pedi, I will say I've never felt so confident in this business that makes safety for their customers and staff number one priority. read more

Over the last year I have stopped getting my fingies and toes done because the salon in SODO next to publix that I used to go to had become an overpriced, overbooked, and unenjoyable experience. I had been seeing the same nail tech over the last 10 years, even following her from spaz to SODO, as she was amazing.... but the last 4-5 times I had gone into see her she was less friendly, rushed, and the quality of the services I was used to getting was gone. It was very clear that because of the overbooking issues that place has, she was getting a lot of pressure to upsell me into different, more expensive services/styles that I didn't even want or like... and then start charging me extra "convenience" and "shaping" fees (what?) I am a slurt for a large variety of vibrant gel color options, a little particular in what I like, the quality of services I receive and how much I am paying.... But also wasn't impressed by other salons in the Downtown neighborhood bubble.. so I just stopped going to the salon altogether and embraced the hobbit foot life.... Until this morning. I woke up, looked at my Gollum Feet and Frodo Fingies and realized it was time for some self care. Living in the neighborhood and a frequent patron of the Thornton Park Starbucks and Ootoya Sushi restaurant, I have driven and walked by this salon so many times and finally made my way in as a "walk in" appointment. I was welcomed in by a very friendly and accommodating man with glasses to Tammy's chair for a gel pedi/mani. The water was just the right temperature of hot and the sample collections of DND and OPI gel colors (with matching polishes) I was provided with was PLENTIFUL! They had multiple sets, for multiple patrons so you didn't feel like you had to make an impulsive decision. As someone who struggles with choosing the right 1-2 colors to carry me through the next 2-3 weeks, Tammy was helpful and patient. She was very precise and thorough in her application (y'all, she applied the right number of coats to ensure even coverage and even made sure to get the sides/corners of each nail other techs will sometimes miss or skip over) The cleanliness and condition of the salon was good. The service was great! And the prices were reasonable! I look forward to making my way in there again soon and hope others in the neighborhood give them a try! read more

I'll be leaving a review on two points: 1) their service; and 2) their COVID measures -They have THE BEST chairs for pedicure service. The chairs are new, hug the entire body (if wanted) and are very comfortable. In other salons, the pedicure chairs I've actually found to be be somewhat painful when in massage mode. Chairs here are great. Their staff is friendly, and thorough with the service they provide. They usually will get me in on a last minute appointment with enthusiasm. -COVID measures: they require all patrons wear face masks, they require hand washing prior to service, and they have also invested in plastic partitions as dividers between the techs and customers while getting a manicure. I recommend this spot! Happy I found them. read more

Did not have a regular nail spot for quite a few years but I think I found mine! Have been 3 times in past few months and each time with a different tech. They have all done great work on my nails. I am pretty easy going but do prefer most natural looking and short length as I work with animals and chemicals daily. Large variety of colors available, as well as different techniques. They are always friendly to me. Also, I'm bad at making appointments ahead of time so I usually call day of and they are able to see me without problem.
