The new ownership I decided to give a chance and the following is the reason I implore anyone to beware of this shop. They did not fix the tire rod on my car from an accident I had. Drove the car for months until I had to get an oil change where it was discovered my inner tires were bald due to the tire rod never being fixed (had zero incidents in between service). Was told by my dealership this could have happened 1 of 2 ways, from the tow truck hooking on to my car (I never used a tow truck) or the body shop never rotated my tires because they did not fix my tire rod. They would not have been able to rotate the tires if the tire rod was not fixed. Wood Ave gave my insurance and I the run around "looking" for the tire rotation paperwork but were never able to find it after 3 WEEKS. They think I'm an idiot, and I guess I am since I have to pay for brand new tires because they didn't do their job....on my car the first time around and not taking responsibility when their mistake was brought to light. Do yourself a favor and NEVER get your car serviced here.

Jerry, the owner, took a look at the damage and gave me an estimate. It seemed like a fair price for the work, so I decided to go ahead and have the work done. First of all, the work was excellent. There's no clue that I ever bumped into a pole in a parking garage. And it was all done in two days. Just as impressive was that fact that Jerry let me drive off before paying. I had tried to pay with a credit card and he said he doesn't take them, but I could send a check. I realized today when I brought over a check that he only had my first name and mobile phone number, so it's saying something that he trusted me to make the payment. I would definitely recommend Torino's for any auto body work you need. If you do go, make sure you ask Jerry to show you his pride and joy, a 1963 Oldsmobile Jetfire. He even took it with him on his honeymoon in Italy! CP's review says Torino's is a throwback. It definitely is and I'm glad there are still some places where honesty, trust, and great workmanship is important.
