We had an incredible experience with Park City Rafting! Landon and his team were phenomenal--friendly, helpful, and so accommodating. We booked our trip last minute, and Landon made it happen with enthusiasm and kindness, getting us on a boat the very next day. All the guides we met were fantastic. While Scottie wasn't our assigned guide, we rode alongside his boat and he was great. Our guide, Richie, truly made the day unforgettable--funny, kind, and super engaging. The owner is nuts! We drove up to the place with 1 car and two trailers to ask about their rafting services for when we come back up next weekend. We knocked on the store and nobody answered. So we turned around and were leaving thinking we could just call. But then the owner pulls up and blocks us and won't let us out and told us didnt you see the no trespassing signs? I said honesty my no, we didn't. We were just there to inquire about services. The guy starts yelling at us and I asked why is he being so mean, it's an honest mistake. So he says he's a mean guy because of everyone that does come trespass. But you had to be immediately rude to us because we literally were there to ask about services for your business?????? He was so mean and proceeded to swear and yell at us, in which we got feisty back. Just words were exchanged, but he could have said "hey, I'm the owner, are you looking for something. Instead he chose to block us from getting out and not even listen that we weren't there to cause any issues. He's a very grumpy man. I don't know what happened to make him so rude, but I would never suggest this place if he is that kind of person. read more

Very fun and mellow rafting trip. Our guide, Meeka (sp?), was very nice and did a great job of explaining the river and rafting on it, interspersed with general conversation (where we are from, what we do for a living, sports the children play, etc.). Our children are 16 and 18 and they really enjoyed the outing. Very calm river, nothing to worry about if you are a first-time rafter. read more

These guys are great. I was able to book last minute reservations for a 4 pm Sunday rafting trip on the day of. They called me back within 30 minutes of me leaving a message and had me good to go. The river tour was really fun, not too strenuous, and they let my 10 year old ride in the bow through a few rapids, which she liked a lot. I'll be back again. read more

I can't say enugh great things about Park City rafting. My wife and I had never been rafting before and we have clearly spoiled ourselves with PCR. Your day starts by jumping in their van and heading down the Weber River. The river runs through a canyon and along the Transcontinental Railway, which is a pretty cool piece of history. Our driver gave us some great information and history about the region. Our guide down the river was Serge. Was this his real name? Maybe. Whatever the case Serge was fantastic and gave us awesome advice and steered us perfectly along rocks and into eddys in order to surf them. It was seriously amazing and so much fun. But the icing the cake: we saw a freaking MOOSE! I suppose if you're from the west you may see them often, but for a couple from Chicago seeing this moose made our entire trip. Good guide, but we paid for a two-hour tour that lasted only about a total of 60 minutes, including loading and unloading.

We had a lot of fun on the rafting ride. My 10-year old got to sit in the very front thanks to our friendly guide and he really loved that. We would have liked the rapids to be somewhat harder but it was a fun ride and a good first rafting experience for my son. read more

Our experience with Park City Rafting has been the highlight of our trip to Utah. Our guide, Kale, was knowledgeable, skilled and so friendly he became a part of the family! Our boys (ages 10 & 12) had an incredible time, loving the kayaking on the second half of our full day excursion. Lunch was great...best deli sandwich we've had in a long time. At Park City Rafting, it was clear that our experience and our safety were their top priority. Kale worked his tail off for us but made it clear he enjoyed every minute of his job. Kyle and his guides were awesome. The rafting and views were spectacular. Highlight of our Park City trip. Our group ranged in age from 6.5 yrs old to 80 yrs old. Everyone loved it (even the 2 of us who were nervous to go) and they all want to go back tomorrow! We hope to come back to Utah next year and if we do, we'll DEFINITELY go on another PCR trip. read more

This is our second trip with Park City Rafting and it was once again, AWESOME! Josh was our guide. Very friendly and funny. I was on the trip with 4 teenagers and they had a blast. The lunch was delicious. We booked the day trip (highly recommend!) and it was a nice blend of calm water to take in the gorgeous scenery mixed with some fun, take your breath away for minute rapids : -). Guides have clearly done this many times before (stories for every turn in the river) and their experience shows. I would do it again in a heartbeat. read more

We selected Park City Rafting after not hearing back from their competitors via my email inquiries. Kyle called me right back and was very helpful and informative about the various options available 2 hour vs. full day. We decided to go for the 2 hour ride as I had 2 10 year olds with me and it was after the 4th of July weekend and we had already been very busy on this vacation. We arrived at the trailer via the GPS in my car. We used the outhouse and changed into our bathing suits (really were not necessary unless you wanted to jump out of the raft). I wore water shoes the kids took their flip flops off immediately and did jump in the water a number of times. It was a lazy river kind of ride most of the way. Our guide, Zack, was new but did a decent job of pointing out the highlights. He was great with the twins as well as engaging the other married couple in conversation. He offered water but we never really got that hot as we were floating about 10 a.m. and it wasn't that hot yet. We were on the river about 85 minutes and arrived safely back at the van. Only regret was that we didn't take any photos before we left the shore as it was impossible to get a good group shot once we were all in the raft. Great customer service and we'd do the full day next time. There was a $5 off coupon on the Park City Visitor book. read more

This was the first time any of us had ever been rafting. Our group consisted of 4 adults and 4 children with ages as diverse as one could imagine. As we traveled down the river our guide, Cody, fascinated the adults with a description of the area's history and the various geologic formations. The kids were delighted when their request to go down the rapids backwards actually happened. The trip culminated with Cody pulling the raft to the side of the river and allowing the kids to go swimming in the cold, cold water which provided all of us a lot of laughs. We had a great time and would certainly do it again on our next visit to Park City. read more
