Went up to Echo to spend some time out on the water and chill by the campfire at night. Please place is nice because it's only about 45 minutes from Salt Lake. It's far away enough that you feel like you are getting out of Salt Lake, but close enough that it isn't a huge deal to drive to and from. What is nice for me is that my friend already has a spot so we come and go as we please. There is a cute store there that serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner (for cheap!) and also have your basic needs of camping like firewood, snacks, etc. This is great because if you are just going up for a quick getaway,you don't have to stuff your car with food or deal with the hassle of cooking sometimes. This is only my third year coming up here and the water has typically been low. I have been told that the water use to come all the way up to the deck, but because they drain it there isn't as much water anymore. There is still enough to go water skiing, jet skiing, etc though. Needless to say, I'm sure we will be back here soon....

My family has been going here for about 3 years now and we've had a great time swimming and boating here! Recently the water level has been very high and lots of places where we used to camp are submerged underwater. The entire North Beach was occupied by people with big RV's and Trailers. The South Beach was fairly okay but the bathrooms were filthy and had some obnoxious neighbors who wouldn't stop swearing nonstop. Lots of dogs would wander around looking for scraps of food and that gets annoying trying to find the owner and get the dogs to leave without coming back. To sum it up, North Beach is a little bit better than South Beach because the bathrooms are cleaner and there's a whole lot more places to camp. I'd recommend this place to anyone who'd wanna have an amazing time with their family.

( the low was 50 degrees and it did not snow) but we could fill our tank at the dump station. I told him you shouldn't fill your tanks with water at the dump station. He insisted it's potable water. We are not taking that chance. Been traveling for years and every dump station we've been to the water is labeled non potable. We drove through and the sites are very tight, we have a double slide on one side that would've been over hanging in the road, and we saw several sites that still had water on. Got a refund and went next door, their water was still on. At least they did refund us our money.

The combination of legendary Little Cottonwood Canyon snow and being less than an hour from Salt Lake City is incredibly hard to beat. You can park, grab a quick snack in the lodge, click into your skis, and be riding the lift without any unnecessary fuss. Alta is very different from places like Park City or many of the big Colorado resorts. There isn't a bustling village at the base, and that's exactly how the regulars like it. The entire experience revolves around skiing, with just the essentials and none of the distractions. I actually never even made it over to neighboring Snowbird because I always got so carried away exploring Alta that I never felt the need to leave. The skiing is exceptional, the mountain is the perfect size for a full day, and the atmosphere feels authentic in an increasingly rare way. It's relaxed without being sleepy, serious about skiing without feeling exclusive, and full of people who genuinely love being there. If you're looking for incredible snow and one of the purest skiing experiences anywhere, Alta absolutely deserves its legendary reputation.

I'm totally blown away every time I ski here. From the views, to the bipolar weather, to the…read morequality and quantity of untracked powder, it just feels like you're skiing on another planet almost. The last time I went it was snowing while sunny out somehow, with the sun shining through the storm clouds above, and felt surreal. This was my first season skiing, though this is hands down the best ski resort I've been to so far. One time this April I made the mistake of crossing over into Snowbird's Mineral Basin, and the conditions were so much worse for just being on the other side of the ridge. It was way hotter, sunnier, and more crowded, with way more rocks, moguls, and dirt spots littering the runs, so I crossed back into Alta after 2 runs. The runs at Alta are wide and well groomed, so you can pick up some serious speed without feeling like you're risking your life doing so. Late season there was barely anyone else there too, even while it was snowing somehow (likely an effect of not allowing snowboarders). The staff here are top notch and always professional, and Alta has some of the best chairlifts I've seen. Another huge plus is how close you can park to the points at which you get on the base mountain chairlifts, as walking in ski boots while carrying skis is no fun. You can literally ski right up to your car at the end of the day if you park in the right spot. They also have a rope tow from base to base, which saves you from possibly having to take the bus at the end of the day to the other base. The only hiccups here were the requiring of parking reservations on weekends, and the pass scanner machine midway up Collins Lift not reading my Ikon Pass with no worker nearby to help, so I'd have to ski down to the bottom and take the lift all the way up.

This is a super place to stay. Much like the best established campgrounds back home in the beautiful Pocono Mountains in the great state of Pennsylvania, this place is peacefully nestled in the beautiful mountains of Utah. Easy pull-through sites let you drive straight in and pull straight out, without backing up (great for big units like mine), easily-accessed back-in sites, clean swimming pool area, spotless restrooms, kids play area, nicely-equipped convenience store, and many more amenities, make Echo Island RV Resort a perfect place for camping. It has a safe family-oriented environment, as well. Our entire camping experience has been painless. Echo Island RV Resort has got to be one of the best campgrounds in this region. Congratulations to the manager and staff for providing my family with a pleasant 6-day camping experience. I also enjoyed the area around the townhome. Used the private jacuzzi on front deck almost every night very relaxing and super clean. The place was designed very nice just enough personal touches that made me feel at home. It had everything I needed or wanted. Surround sound system, free Wi-Fi, large flat screen T.v's just to mention a few things I enjoyed. No need to pack more then your clothes and a toothbrush. It had everything there to make trip feel like home. I definitely will be back and let my family and friends know about my new found treasure. Also price was great for all that comes with it. The house is in town literally a 2 minute walk to the Town Lift. Please see my trip advisor review of the house. Seriously, talk about Convenient! Patti, the owner of All Park City Rentals, was a joy to work with. I can tell she takes pride in her properties, as there was enormous attention to detail in the house, right down to the wonderful L'Occitane amenities. We didn't know how to use the gas fireplace in the living room (despite an instruction manual), but Patti answered our call, and even offered to swing by to turn on the fireplace. Talk about service. She actually talked us through how to turn it on and so a house call was avoided. If you are looking to rent in Park City, Patti has a number of properties including ski in/ ski out and houses. She is an incredible hostess and really has made us feel like we can have a home away from home. A+++ customer service.

When I went to the old pick up and no one was there, I called and texted Big Rack and nobody answered which is very rare. Over the years I've used this shuttle business they've always been very prompt, accommodating and understanding. I realize I didn't look and just assumed it was the same pick up, but I think this guy may have been having a bad day. I don't think you should talk to a costumer in this way. Just wanted to share

Tired and groggy, we made it to the entryway only to discover that our keys didn't work. We called the owner for help. This meant that he had to drive all the way from Salt Lake City to open the doors not to our original room, but some other house 15 minutes away. We weren't getting what we ordered?? Finally after waiting what seemed like an eternity, we entered our condo at 2:30am! The place is actually quite nice. Good scenery, good views, kitchen, flat screen tv, a lot of places to sleep, jacuzzi bath, and a community swimming pool/workout area. For some reason all of the dishes in the kitchen weren't cleaned. Plus there wasn't any sponge! How the heck our we supposed to clean these dishes? We ended up using a lot of paper towels. I guess it can wait till the morning; finally, some rest and relaxation. Oh wait, you say there's ghosts? A part of our group experienced ghost sightings, electrical disturbances, and one person was told that she was going to be killed the next day. Another girl exited the shower to find that she had scratches over her body and face. These scratches resembled scratches found all over the condo as well. Spooky. Some people sighted a shadowy figure standing near the door and outside the window. Odd. The next day the group moved to a different room. I personally didn't see anything out of the ordinary probably because I was tired the entire time. But if I did see something I'd be the first one out of there.

This was the perfect place to stay during my trip to Park City. It's located just a right around…read morethe corner from Canyon's Resort, the largest ski/board resort in Utah, and a short distance from Main Street where all the shops, restaurants, and parties are held during Sundance. Close enough to everything, but just far enough out to get away from it all and truly enjoy your experience in Park City. We stayed in a three level condo with four bedrooms, large fully equipped kitchen with marble island, large living room, and a den on the bottom floor. This is the perfect place for a family vacation, or a group of friends coming in for a week of skiing, or coming in for the Sundance Film Festival. I'm sure that each condo is different, but I would definitely stay at the place that we stayed again on 5468 Luge Lane. Did I mention they have a four person hot tub to melt away any stress that you have? Now THIS is a vacation...away from it all, nestled in a warm cabin/condo while the world outside is covered in snow.....
