I'm giving this flower shop one star based on my experience trying to place an order for a funeral service. I reached out more than two days in advance because I wanted to send a floral arrangement directly to a funeral home. After searching online for options nearby, I came across Park Floral and decided to give them a call to clarify a few details before placing my order. When I spoke with the manager, Michael, he told me there would be a $25 delivery fee to the funeral home. I then asked how much delivery would be to my home, which is only three blocks away, and he quoted me $15. This immediately raised a red flag, since the website clearly advertised free delivery. When I questioned this, he paused and then said, "It doesn't entail anything, I can just deliver it for you for free." Based on that, I told him I would go ahead and place the order the next day for the Friday service. The next day, I checked the website again and noticed all the prices had suddenly increased by $15. While that alone was frustrating, I still called to finalize the order. At that point, I was told to call back in an hour because he was busy. I proceeded to call back five times and even left a message. I never received a response. For something as important and time-sensitive as a funeral, this level of inconsistency, lack of transparency, and poor communication is extremely disappointing. I ultimately took my business elsewhere, and I would not recommend this shop based on my experience. read more

The service was very poor. I clearly asked for $15 flowers and repeated it three times, but he gave me $55 flowers and pretended not to understand. I paid by card, and only after the charge went through did I ask for a receipt, at which point he told me the total was $55. This is unacceptable. And I'm a regular customer and I know the prices there. Please be carful there if you order something. read more

If it's a floral arrangement you want, you'll certainly be in safe hands. Even with the mess on the floor at this Morris Park Ave florist, these folks are putting out stunning floral pieces for different types of events. They were actually working on a gorgeous one when I came here. You could just tell these folks are experts at arranging. When it came to a vibrant potted plant I noticed outside so my Mom can plant in her backyard, these folks couldn't tell me if it was a perennial or an annual (turned out to be the first). Plus there wasn't a description in those little card inserts- but I Googled it before paying. All in all, it seems Park Floral is the right choice- as the talented team here are passionate about creating beautiful designs. read more

Website easy to use except they don't show options to increase size of arrangements like FTD and others do. Very satisfied with service. Friend loved flowers but I haven't seen them myself. I ordered an arrangement online the Friday before Mother's Day with a pick up time of 11am. I arrived at the shop close to 11:45 and was told that the order was not done since they were behind on the orders. The woman behind the counter actually told be that the store does not guarantee that orders will be ready on time (there is no warning of this on their website) and I needed to be more considerate. Last time, I checked I am the customer that is paying for a service which was not provided. And to do this on Mother's Day is completely unacceptable. The ladies behind the counter demonstrated and provided poor customer service through their attitude and words. For the next special occasion, I will go elsewhere. This store put a slight damper on Mother's Day with their failure to complete my floral order for my Mother. If they had offered to deliver the arrangement, I would have paid the delivery fee. The store deserves zero stars. This store needs to do better. read more

I'm a little late in posting, but...I ordered online back in December for my Aunt who used to order from the previous owner. My Aunt could not stop talking about the gorgeous Holiday arrangement. I am so happy I found this florist. I needed a same day birthday flower delivery and Michael came through for me. I'm in Texas and I needed the flowers delivered in the Bronx. Within 2 hours my 82 year old aunt had her beautiful flower arrangement. She was in tears. The delivery person even wished her a happy birthday.
