My husband and I both just purchased cars from Park Place Ltd. We had done a lot of research about what we wanted. We inquired about a car's availability that we saw on Autotrader, and David Khazai responded right away. We went in the next day to see the car. First off, my husband, test drove an Audi, a warning light went off, we returned to the dealership and told David about the light. He immediately had their mechanic look at the car. Meanwhile, I test drove a BMW and, after a bit of negotiating, we ended up buying that one for me. David did not give up on the S5 and after a week got us back in S5 after their shop fixed the issue. It ran perfectly. David was great to work with, treated us fairly, no pressure, and the whole experience was super. I don't typically write Yelp comments, but feel inclined to do so given my experience with Park Place. I'm a car fanatic. I cannot afford most of the cars at Park Place, but I make enough to afford a cool weekend car along the lines of an E34 M5 or other affordable classic. I like that this dealership keeps a wide range of stuff, and will say that what they carry is always at the top of the range regarding quality. Sure, it's expensive, and I've never purchased a car here, but I get the sense that you can get a top condition car for full sticker price here, and let's be honest, that's often less expensive than buying something that seems cheap at first and costs you lots of money in deferred maintence down the road. I think of it like Stephen King's needful things. They have what you want, and if you want it, you'll buy it. I actually own a car that was previously sold by them and it's a real gem. Now, the reason for my 5 star review is their customer service. Particularly Rami, who was so gracious when I was last in. During the forest fires in late summer of 2020, I came in with my 2 boys (5 and 7 years old) who are car crazy. They wanted to see the exotics and I thought we'd take a quick peek. I was a little apprehensive about doing so, because I know that kids can reek havoc and there's a lot of valuable stuff around. However, Rami could not have been more kind or accommodating. He was so cool to my kids, and took the time to tell them about the cars and show them around. His passion for cars and eagerness to share that with us made a really big impact. I felt like he invited us into his house and just wanted to show us around. The highlight of this was when he let my kids sit in a brand new COPO Camaro (a full fledged factory race car) which my boys still talk about today (thank you so much for this). Rami was super knowledgeable about all the cars and had the laid back attitude that we all want when interacting with a sales person. Due to this, I consider myself a future customer (when the right car comes along) and would recommend the dealership to anyone else who sees a car that they just have to own. Final note, I exclusively bring my cars to Park Place for service. I have 2 older Mercedes and Adam who works for them is someone who I trust more than the tech's at MB to deal with my cars. He has the passion, knowledge and care that you just don't get at dealerships anymore and the rates are much more affordable (win-win). Thanks for being here Park Place! This review is strictly in regards to their consignment sales service. I gave them my Mercedes for consignment. First I had to pay them $300 for the consignment. Then another $350 for detailing. Some tax here and there and off of the sudden I'm down $700 before we even started. We agreed on a payout price for me. Meaning whatever price they sell it at, I walk out with that amount. So obviously they make the difference. After about 2 weeks of ZERO activity, it turns out, they haven't even prep-ed the car for sale yet. About a month goes by, they call me up and tells me they have a buyer interested but asked if I could lower my 'payout price'. I told them forget it. Another month goes by, they call me up again and asked if I can lower the price. I reluctantly agreed because I had purchased another car and I didn't have the room in my garage in the event that I may have to take the car back. Otherwise, I would never agree to lower the price. The sale went through a few days later. Why 4 stars? They manged to sell my convertible in the middle of the winter. They didn't pressure me to lower the price, they asked very nicely and it was my decision to lower the price. Why not 5 stars? They didn't sell it at the first agreed on price. I am very disappointment on consignment services with Bryan and Chris at this private owned dealership . As a sales manager for myself, it is not very often that I would file a complaint to another servicing company. Since I signed up the consignment agreement, I have not seen any best value and descent efforts that consignment team contribute in sales/marketing ; except by telling me how much deprecation of my car in progress during two times conversation in 60 days. I totally feel the intimidation and frustration with low ball offer to sell my car. In the beginning, I choose Park Place Ltd over others to consign my sport car, it is because of Bryan's consistency calls and kind of well known exotic car dealership in WA. I can not be more Thankful to have my car serviced by Park Place garage. Yesterday morning I went to start my car and it had problems turning over. I made one stop and the vehicle continue to have a problem starting. I am mediately called Park place and spoke to Adam, the service manager at Park place. After speaking to Adam we decided that it was best that I drop my car off immediately for service. Upon my arrival Adam made a phone call and they had a rental vehicle that was available so he did not hesitate to provide me with a vehicle for the day. I will never spend one thin dime at this dealership. I have driven past Park Place for years, but never had the need to stop in. I bought my Porsche and my X5M from other dealers and am looking to upgrade. They have a car I had done a lot of research on and was interested in, so I showed up to take a look. The sales guy walked me to the car and I took a good look at it. I asked what we would need to do to take it for a test drive. He said I would need to be serious about buying it - that we would sit down, work through the numbers, do paperwork and just before I signed, we could do a test drive. I told him that was a lot of hassle for a vehicle I didn't even know if I would like. He explained they get "a hundred guys a day" wanting to come in and test drive their cars. He explained it wasn't his policy and he couldn't do anything about it, but then after some waffling said I seemed like a nice guy and he would arrange a test drive. Just couldn't happen that day because he would have to move five cars to get it out - complaining on and on about how much trouble that would be. He asked me to come back at the end of next week when he was working again. A week?!?! Long story short, he agreed to a test drive that day and told me to go get breakfast and he'd call me when he was ready. The guy was so condescending that I considered just telling him not to bother. Anyway, he calls me an hour later. I answer and ask him. "How are you?". "Tired from pushing cars around", he says. Sorry for making you work on your work day! I get there and we do a complete walk around in the daylight and go for our drive. He goes with and micromanaged everything about the route. Get in the left lane here, turn right there, be sure to go around those bumps, give it some gas. Felt more like a teenager being schooled by a driving instructor. Not an enjoyable experience and really detracted from me learning about the car. Bottom line, I was underwhelmed by the car. Interior was a bit dated and the transmission was a big step back from Porsche's beautiful PDK. We looked at the trunk space and it was tiny, even by sports car standards. I ask him if there are comparable cars and walked around to look at a few - but nothing that fit. After careful consideration, I went to his office to thank him for his time, but that I was going to pass. "That's why we are so careful about who we let drive our cars", he says. Are you kidding me? What a jerk. I guess I just didn't fit the smug Bellevue environs... Meanwhile, I went to look at a car with a dealer in Seattle. I looked at a comparably priced 911 and it was the best experience I've ever had at a dealership. Just bought a 2011 BMW 135i convertible from David Bruski. It was $18,000 less there than the one across the street at the BMW dealership. It was a year older and had 7,000 more miles, but I thought that was an amazing price. I got to drive it with my friend and without him tagging along. He was very low key, calm and not pushy. I was able to negotiate a transaction that suited my needs and when I went to pick up the car the next day, all the paperwork had been done and I was in and out of there in 15 minutes. They have an amazing selection of higher end gently used cars. I'm so glad my girlfriend encouraged me to "go across the street" and take a quick peek at their inventory. America, in general, doesn't have the best assortment of cars. Despite what you may think of us about being capitalistic and "free market", we're ... well, we're just not. Not in terms of cars (and probably some other industries), anyway. A little travel will open your eyes. A quick visit to even an overly safe "nanny state" such as the UK will show you what a much more free market looks like. Safety conscious, socialistic nanny states oddly have three times the brands and models we do. Even cool stuff anybody can afford, like affordable Citroens. Modern America is broken in some deep, weird un-American way and should be fixed. Yet, to be fair, much less safety oriented countries have even more choices than Europe. In many parts of Asia and India, you'll see brands of cars which shouldn't be on the road anywhere, hahaha. Rare places like Park Place help to fix this insidious lack of choice we have, as long as you have a few bucks in your pocket. (But not too many, Park Place is kinda enough to have at least a few affordable options) It's truly one of the few places like this (other shops in Santa Monica and Florida come to mind), and one of the best. Their selection is absolutely breathtaking. Even if you don't think you like cars, I almost guarantee you'll find something here that changes your mind. Something that makes your heart skip a beat. Something that truly inspires! All of the salespeople, from what I can tell, truly love cars... And it shows. Of course, the buyer or buyers do, too. This place just oozes auto love. It's fun and funky. Its autonerd paradise. If you make a good amount of money, and don't know what to do with it, do yourself a favor and get yourself a treat here. Seattle, as rich as it is, doesn't have enough pieces of art on the road. You can help fix this problem! :) Keep in mind that when you buy inspirational things, you'll be happier and will likely design better products. I can honestly say this was the best experience I have had, bar none, purchasing a car, either new or used. I worked with Vic Kirilenko, who greeted my wife and I when we showed up one Sunday afternoon to shop for something sporty and fun to replace my aging Acura TL (which I loved, but... well, it had been 5 years...). He was friendly, absolutely no pressure, just answered questions. He handed us the keys to a couple of Porsche 911s and told us to go have fun. So we did, and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. That ended up getting me hooked on the 911 (which I had never driven before), so he let me take one overnight; actually 2. First night a stick, second night one with PDK. So I could figure out which I'd prefer to drive on the commute. I was pretty sure I was going to go with a 911; but they didn't have quite what I wanted on the lot, but they could order one, and ship it up. I decided to trade in the Acura, and wanted to get the trade in value up-front. Vic was happy to do that, and quoted me a trade-in that was more than fair (it was actually the top of the Kelley Blue Book range for that car). It was nice to get this up-front (although not in writing...), since many dealers would let me haggle the price of the car, and then turn around and try and gouge me on the trade in (e.g. Acura of Lynnwood offering half the trade-in value). The third night I tried an Audi S5 cabriolet they had on the lot, and was hooked. The Porsche 911s were fun to drive fast on open roads, but Seattle traffic doesn't allow for much of that. The Audi was the perfect blend of comfort, looks, and performance. Getting to take all 3 cars overnight really helped me make a decision I am happy with, and there was no pressure at any point to make a deal. Vic even went as far as to say (when I made an offer below the asking price on the Audi) that they'd happily negotiate, and if I wasn't happy with their best offer, no worries, no hard feelings. He was genuine about it, and made the whole experience feel very easy. I felt I could easily walk away with no hassle should I feel the need. When I decided to go for the S5, the negotiation was easy-going and reasonable. Once or twice something came up that had me concerned, but Vic was always reasonable and willing to accommodate. I got a good deal, and there were no surprises at signing. I got exactly what was quoted - verbally - for trade in, no pressure to add on anything, and a fast turnaround too. I drove away with a car I loved, feeling like I was treated fairly. This is a first for me when purchasing a new or used car. I would definitely recommend this dealer - especially if you go talk to Vic. My wife will be buying her new car from him also. We're really happy to have finally found a car dealer who's honest and a pleasure to work with. read more

Outstanding customer service! My husband and I purchased a Porsche this past weekend. Since we do not live close by we called ahead to see if the car we wanted to look at was still available. By the time we arrived, René had the Porsche inside and wiped down. The entire experience was something completely different from any other car shopping experience we have ever had. Not once did we feel pressured to buy or pressure to upgrade to a more expensive car. René answered all of my husband's technical questions openly, honestly and professionally. I also felt he was sincere in wanting to get to know us. We had a few things in common and spent some time discussing hobbies and other interests. It was nice not to feel rushed into signing documents so a sales person could move on to another customer. Many things stood out that makes Park Place Motors different from most auto dealers. When we first arrived we were professionally greeted, but did not feel that at any moment we would be pounced on by a group of sales staff. I also felt as though the other employees paid attention to the fact we were working with René and we were not constantly asked if we had been helped. From start to finish (driving away with our new car), René was with us. We didn't get passed off to other people. We will definitely come back for any future purchases, service, auto detailing, etc. I just wish you would sell large trucks. I have followed this business since David Bingham opened in Downtown Kirkland 25 years ago. David was a great guy and a true car fanatic. Over they years I have witnessed them drop significantly. Once David stepped out of day to day operations and turned it over to Butch then it turned into your typical car dealership. Most of their cars are consignments and to be fair they can get some pretty nice machines, however be careful because they are not that picky about what they accept, so many cars are great but don't assume they all are. My experience is that their consignment cars are generally much better than cars they own, just make sure anything you buy you have a Pre-purchase inspection done on and not by their shop. Overall they started as a 5 star, fell to a 3 star but based on a consignment deal they did with me fell to a 1 star, so I will give them 2 stars. In my situation they outright lied to me about the sale of my car which was confirmed when the purchaser contacted me. When I asked them about it Butch immediately took a very defensive posture and actually started cursing at me right in the showroom. I was willing to give them the benefit of the doubt and see if they could provide an answer that would reassure me that there was another side to the story. Clearly there wasn't. Overall they can have some cool cars, so for a gear head its worth a stop, however if you are purchasing I would inspect very carefully. If you are thinking of consignment I would find a more honest operation. read more

A bit of a complex process with shipping and registration, but he arranged everything. How do you reassure someone that the vehicle they are purchasing sight unseen is exactly what they say it is? My father was initially interested in a Red Audi RS4. After putting down a deposit, the car turned out having disputed issues which were not revealed to me nor my father at the time. Ryan the GM worked with my father after-the-fact, and returned his deposit on the car. Yelp will not allow me to cancel my old review, however this review reflects my opinion about getting the matter resolved. Ryan bent over backwards to refund our "non-refundable" deposit, and we appreciate his help and doing the right thing! I purchased a Porsche 911 last October from Park Place. I live in the Chicago area and bought it sight unseen. Car arrived and I was happy with it. I love Porsches, I hate everything about this %#*€+ dealership. Since January, 2013 , we have been billed $5,000 on our Visa Card every month. Park place agrees we do not owe them this, they would never send a car out without full payment, but 10 months later $5000 is still on my Visa. We have talked to everyone possible at Park Place but have gotten nowhere. We are hiring a lawyer to help resolve this problem. Bought a 1991 Lamborghini Diablo and was lied to the entire time. The car could barely move off the delivery truck when I received it. This dealer claimed the moving company must have done it. I then found the information for the person that owned the car and traded it to Park Place. He told me that he knew the transmission was bad and told this to Park Place. They knew the problems with the car and did nothing about it, just misrepresented it and took my money. The car needed $31,000 of repairs. This dealership is so bad someone even registered the domain name parkplaceproblems (dot com) There was lots of good info there...until Park Place bought the domain name! Singularly the worst experience I have ever had in attempting to purchase a vehicle., which spans nearly 50 years. The sheer nonsense delivered by the salesman I unfortunately dealt with was fraught with factual inaccuracies given the Pre Purchase Inspection report that I obtained. No attempt was ever made to address any of the concerns raised nor to explain the representations made by either their own "safety report" or the hyperbole of the salesman.
