First, I want to say that my family has been buying cars from this Lexus dealer for over 10 years and this has nothing to do with the sales staff in any way. Sales team and managers are amazing. Why I gave only 1 star is for the service department. I bought a used Jeep from them a month ago, and I had it checked out by another mechanic and all was well. It was not until a couple of weeks later that I started hearing a noise that sounded like something was going on with my breaks (all 4 break pads were changed at the dealership). When I called the service department they said I had to talk to my salesperson about it. Long story short, I took it to the place where I get my vehicles worked on, and when he took off one of my tires a BOLT was missing off the caliper and the other one was about to fall off. HOW did it come out of the dealership like this?!! When I called the service center I got transferred and left a message and never got a call back. It cost me $50 to repair, but if I didn't get it fixed or I didn't listen to my Jeep, it could have been a disaster. Very disappointed read more

When I brought back a car to upgrade with the same salesperson he said there weren't any other offers at the time so I went to the other competitor. They were great as well but again the same thing when I returned after the lease was up they couldn't match the price that's when I spoke with Zane at Grapevine. He's just great to deal with straight forward and zero nonsense. If you are in the market for a quality pre-owned vehicle, STAY FAR AWAY FROM PARK PLACE LEXUS GRAPEVINE. While my initial experience with Shane Welter while purchasing a 2018 Suburban was pleasant and I appreciated not feeling rushed into a decision, 3 weeks to the day after making the purchase, the transmission had a catastrophic failure during rush hour traffic on I-30. On my initial viewing of the vehicle, before signing any paperwork, I SPECIFICALLY asked that the transmission be checked out by their technicians. Shane assured me that Park Place Lexus had a high standard for any used vehicle they sell and that if it didn't live up to their standards post-inspection, that they would not sell it to a buyer because they have a reputation to uphold. Because I wrongly assumed that this was a reputable high end dealership, I chose to believe that they would be honest about the results of the car's inspection. When I returned to the dealership and asked about the inspection, Shane said to me, "I can't remember the exact word the technician used, not flawless, but basically it's in excellent shape." Fast forward 3 weeks after being towed to Everett Chevrolet, I learned the transmission fluid was burnt and full of metal shavings, causing the torque converter and pump to fail. I'm shocked that a 4 year old vehicle would have this serious of an issue, but more than that, I'm deeply disappointed and angry that Shane Welter lied to my face when he said the inspection was clean, assuming they even did the inspection. We spoke with the pre-owned sales manager, Pete Bagrow, who attempted to pass the buck and said they "can't predict what will happen in 2 or 3 weeks or a month down the road." This was also a lie. An issue of this nature in the transmission doesn't happen overnight. At the time of sale, my SUV's transmission fluid would have already shown signs that the integrity of the transmission components was compromised. What they did to me by either lying about the results of the inspection, or lying that it was performed at all, is BEYOND UNETHICAL. I could have been left stranded or caused an accident when I suddenly broke down on a crowded interstate highway. After initially trying to act like this wasn't the egregious fault of the dealership, Pete Bagrow offered to show me a 7 year old Tahoe or something with "only 80k miles," as if I would want an even older vehicle than the one I bought or even consider trusting them. He then offered $1,000 toward the cost of a new transmission, which is $5,900. This to me is only further proof that he knows that I was wrongfully taken advantage of by Shane Welter and is trying to placate me with a paltry offering to make the problem go away. They have no intention of making right their reprehensible lack of integrity and business ethics. I hope my detailed recount of this unforgivable experience is a cautionary tale to anyone else considering doing business at this place. One can expect to encounter such scumbag salesmen at sleazy used lots; apparently those tactics are the bread and butter behind the luxury veneer at Park Place Lexus as well. If you're a young woman intending to do business here, prepare to be taken advantage of and openly lied to about the conditions of the cars they sell. read more

I tried to purchase a lexus 2023 es300H. The salesman that I was dealing with is Brian Safianow. He proceeded to put options on the car that I wanted to buy that I did not want. These options are not on the car when it is manufactured. These are dealer add ons. I questioned him and he said, rather than add additional dealer mark up (over msrp) this is what Park Place Lexus does. (price gouging) Additionally, he also wanted to charge me a dealer inventory tax. That is something that the dealership has to pay to the county tax collector. He would not remove that. (price gouging) The car is being built and sent to me so it is not on the lot there. I would suggest to purchase a car from Sewell, which does not have the above issues, charging for options that the consumer does not want and paying charges that the dealership should be paying. read more

Don't buy from or go to Sewell until you read this review about Park Place! Park Place was my best car-buying experience to date thanks to Ed Stefanko! I was a bit concerned about who would call me after sending a random inquiry through the Park Place website since my experience with salesmen hasn't been the best, but I wanted to ensure my car was still available before I drove all the way up there to see it (from downtown Dallas). I couldn't have asked for a better salesman thanks to Ed and will be a long-term customer of his moving forward! I live close to Sewell Lexus (Dallas) and usually had my car serviced there due to location. Service for car maintenance was ok (still not like Lexus should be!), but I was never impressed with the sales team (I spoke to them a few times over the years to determine my next purchase). Park Place blows Sewell out of the water on class and professionalism, and I even posted about it on my Facebook page! After meeting Ed, I was determined that I would buy from him regardless of what Sewell offered because of the honest and genuine conversations we had. Park Place also offers great trade-in value for vehicles. Sewell offered me much less for my car, then told me it's because they send a lot of their cars to auction. Park Place deals with mostly trade-ins and leases, so their business model is different. I wanted to tell Sewell that it's great for them, but I don't care what they do with my car after trade-in, and every smart customer is going to research the best value for their trade-in. Customers don't willingly take less money just to cater to a dealership's business model. :) Park Place exceeds this area as well and allowed me to buy the car I wanted now versus waiting longer. It may be a lot further, but I will drive to Park Place Grapevine for future service and car purchases instead of down the road at Sewell! read more

What an incredible experience. This should be a model for how dealerships operate. First, our "Sales Experience Manager," Ezell "EZ" Williamson, was absolutely fantastic. My wife and I were in the market for a 2022 GX 460, which is hard to find. When you do find one, they sell super fast. I tried a sister dealership of theirs, and it did not go well at all. I'll leave it at that. When I called the Grapevine location, EZ was helpful and quick to answer any of my questions. He found two that had just arrived on their lot. I said we'd be there shortly. Just in our transit time, one was sold. Luckily, when we got there, we found the ideal one for us with every feature and option we wanted. It had 3 miles on it and still had all the exterior plastic on it. We bought it on the spot. We will also be purchasing an RX next month, and there is no doubt we will see EZ. There's a reason why he's been at this particular dealership for over a decade. I HIGHLY recommend the Grapevine location over any Lexus dealership in the DFW area. You won't regret it. read more

I visited Park Place on a busy Saturday morning without an appointment, I didn't realized you had to have one, but Danny took great care of me. What makes Park Place different is the attention to the small details that adds up to making car buying a positive experience. Danny took the time to understand what I was looking for and my budget. In less than an hour, we made a deal. Danny found the car I was looking for, a black 2016 Lexus RX350 AND within my budget. It was also great that you're not shuffled from person to person. I bought my first luxury car with Park Place Lexus Grapevine. My shopping experience was great before committing to the purchase, I stopped by a few times to view and test drive the Rx350. Every-time I dropped by, everyone was super helpful, I didn't feel pressure to buy the car right away. They allowed me time to think it through at my own pace, which I really appreciated. I also liked Lexus servicing department, I never have any issues with getting appointments or a loaner car. They always did their best to accommodate my time, which is tremendously helpful. The only reason why I didn't give them a five star is because the line can be pretty long waiting for an advisor. But overall, great dealership, the place is clean and inviting. In my opinion these people are shysters. I understand inventory is skewed and crazy due to supply chain issues. I also understand asking full MSRP is non negotiable and customary; it's a market driven industry. However do not try to sell me a vehicle with $2,500-3,000 in dealer add ons that should be an option for your customers and not required. Anyone with an ounce of common sense knows these add odds have huge profit margins and are mostly gimmicks with no other purpose than to increase profit for the dealership. A few basic nominal accessories around $500 is acceptable, but requiring customers to purchase painless dent repair, wheel protection, windshield coatings etc at inflated prices into the thousands is bad business practice. Some shyster sales person tried to convince me these add ons is required with every purchase and would not sell the vehicle without them, increasing the total price thousands over MSRP. In addition the vehicle had not arrived at the dealership so those options are had not been added to vehicle, so why not just leave them off? This is a huge red flag or indicator that this dealership is out for $$. The only other Lexus dealership in the DFW area offered the exact vehicle at the same base MSRP with acceptable dealer add on's (window tint etc) of well under $1k. When I asked if any add odds were required I was advised without hesitation no- they are recommended but never required. That is the definition of a reputable dealership, and maybe that's why they have been in business for well,over 100 years. I took my business to that dealership instead that was willing to do the right thing without some spiel about excessive dealer add on's. In fact I did end up taking some reasonable dealer add on's that were my choice. read more

What horrible experience working in Park Place Lexus in Grapevine. I've been a customer in Park Place Lexus in Plano since 2007 and bought 3 cars from them 2 2008 ES 350 and RX350. We went to Grapevine location because they have the car that we like. We are rooting for IS F 350 I was told that I can't take the delivery as they need to secure the financing first and give them until Tuesday to work on it. So Monday we checked the car that we're interested in and they SOLD it but we're under the impression that they will work on finding a bank for financing. Sure enough we're waiting for nothing. What a joke. I got an email from Tom Trihn yesterday and I was told that the cap is 650 a month so we got excited we decided that we just put it more down payment to secure it. But when I asked him if the car is available he said they sold it Monday. They made us believe that the finance manager is working on getting us approved but in reality he turned around and sold the car. What a waste of time. read more

HORRIBLE... Negotiated all day on Wednesday back and forth with the dealership and discussed a issue the key fob was having. We finally agreed to a price and they told me the key fob issue had been resolved. I went that night to purchase the car and lo and behold the key fob issue had NOT been fixed. They assured me they would straighten it out and have the car ready to go the next morning and not to worry since the car would not be going anywhere. The only sold the car. Called to get a price on a vehicle and was answered by salesman named Rob. Rob was very unprofessional and sounded like he didn't even want to he on the phone. I was very cordial, told him the stock umber of the vehicle to make it easier. He told me he would call me back when he has the price. Fast forward 3 days, I called again to get the same response and no call back. I had a different salesman try and get a price for me with no response. Now it's Monday, I call AGAIN to get a price, I already have a pre approval for the loan, I'm ready to purchase this vehicle and the salesman I'm talking to now (Josh) tells me that it sold over the weekend. If you want an extremely hands-off car buying experience, come here! And ask for EZ! After limping into the dealer on a Saturday morning, I was then pointed in the direction of cars I was interested in & advised to walk the parking lot to look at them. No associate went out with us to show us the vehicles & all the doors were locked, so we couldn't look inside the cars. When we came back into the store, I asked to drive the pure while IS 350 with grey-black rims. I specifically said "Not the pearl white car". Naturally, he brings the pearl white IS300 to be test driven. Then he proceeds to tell me that the only difference between the two cars was the paint color. He told me that I would be paying $10,000 more for a paint job & the rims. Never mind the fact that the car we wanted to test drive had a V6 engine, as opposed to the i4. Needless to say, he did not sell us a vehicle. We went across the road to Grubbs Infiniti, had a wonderful experience, and bought a Mercedes from the used car inventory at Grubbs Acura.
