Several items required attention and were promptly covered under the maintenance warranty.1) radio master control unit-volume kept automatically turning to max, replaced by Novak2) drivers side electric window motor required replacement, replaced by Novak3) replace AC condenser, replaced by Novak4) replace ESIM and evaporator purge, replaced by Novak. Now have 88,000 miles on the car. What I don't like is how the finance guy was so pushy on me getting an extended warranty that he guaranteed covered EVERYTHING. it doesn't. He said my car has full coverage and if ANYTHING goes wrong that it will be taken care of. I bought $5,000 worth of coverage and it doesn't cover jack shit. DON'T BUY ANY COVERAGE from this place. The finance person, Michael, is positive for Covid and going to hospital. The company did NOT inform us and the only way we knew was that my husband was trying to get him to answer a question and contacted him. They did NOT wear masks in the offices and fortunately we did not go in the building other than to se the restroom briefly. We insisted on doing all of our purchase business and paperwork outside. I purchased a 2012 Volvo from here back in December of 2014. I had a perfect smooth experience and the entire buying/financing/test drive/communication piece was a breeze. I can't remember the salesperson who sold me the car at the time but he was older and he just sat in the back of the car and cut jokes and made small talk not the typical "sales" type speech that often times you tend to hear at dealerships. What drew me in to this place is that Novak sells gently used vehicles that came straight off leases so often times they're practically brand new almost meaning 2-3 years max old! I not only liked the way the cars were kept in such good shape but also the variety of great brands from Land Rover to Jeep to Volvo. I purchased an extended warranty through the dealership that was supposed to last for 5 years so up until December of 2019. I recently sold that vehicle so had to call and cancel the contract I was expecting to get a very slow response and time to just drag on this especially since this isn't making the dealership any money or benefitting them in any bit. I was pleasantly surprised - I have been working with Rene Hernandez and he is more on top of this than I am my laundry currently! He returns calls when he says he will, emails you like promised and even gets this type of paperwork done in the same day - this is unheard of with anyone in the service industry especially when they aren't making any commission off of you. I can't begin to tell you what a breeze he has been to work with! I used Novak Motors to purchase my dream car 2 years ago. The salesman I worked with was great, not pushy at all and very helpful--however the finance manager, Michael took complete advantage of me being a young woman who was buying her first car. He wouldn't let me leave his office until I signed the highest warranty after telling him multiple times I didn't want it. He knew exactly what he was doing. I would never recommend Novak Motors to anyone after what I have experienced. I'm stuck with a car payment that is $200 more than I wanted, for a warranty that doesn't cover anything for me other than "free oil changes and tire rotations"solely because I was completely taken advantage of. I stopped in after speaking with David on the phone. No pressure here, no swarming me and blowing my phone up every day. I was allowed to just be alone and look and think. If you are looking for Customer Service and someone who actually wants to sell a vehicle, Go Somewhere else. I tired to purchase my Senior Mom a vehicle who already had an approval through Capitol One, we selected the vehicle on-line and Bailey, who seemed like he was going to help and assist throughout the process blew up our phone for a week and then disappeared and would not communicated or return phone calls. After two weeks and then seeing the vehicle we selected show sold on the website, we went to another dealer and had a much nicer vehicle in 2 days. Maybe Bailey and team do so much business they cannot handle any additional customer. Regardless, they should understand how customer service works. Not sure how they stay in business. read more

We purchased a vehicle from this place of business several years ago. When we went to look at the car, they had me drive a vehicle that was several thousand more than the vehicle we came to drive. I guess that was ok. We did drive the car that we came to see. It seemed ok. The radio worked when we bought it, but stopped soon afterwards. The driver's seat was broken, but this was not disclosed. Only three of the four windows rolled down. We did not do our due diligence in looking at the vehicle, but honestly? Those things should not be broken on a car that was supposedly given a look over before being sold. After we purchased the vehicle, it broke down of course. We had to replace the battery. It also had an emissions issue. As far as we could figure, they deleted the codes long enough to pass inspection and for it to be driven a hundred or so miles. That cost us a pretty penny to fix. When I called to talk to them about the issues, they wanted me to bring it back so they could verify the problems. But, they said there wasn't anything they could do about it because it was sold "AS IS". Meh. Buyer beware. Even if they tell you they are a Christian place, they don't act like it. We've since purchased several vehicles, and we steer clear of Novak Motors. read more

i always had the impression that N0 means No! well i told the finance guy michael that i did not want to purchase gap insurance and he would not take no for an answer just kept pushing and pushing! i just was ready to go! so i accepted the gap insurance after repeatedly telling him no! would i recommend someone to this dealership! NOPE i would not,maybe if they werent so pushy into selling you a warranty and gap insurance you don't want! again when a buyer says no leave it at that! buyer beware do not purchase the extended warranty , not worth the money.$4,151.00 for a piece of paper that you will never use. all they care about is selling you a useless warranty! they don;t care about anyone! just sell a warranty ! tried calling them back to cancel and no one will take my calls by law you have 30 to 60 days after buying to cancel a contract so they just ignore you;re calls! read more

I came into buy a truck. The price was great. My sales guy was great. Very attentive and helped me navigate the process. The finance guy was good. Explained everything thoroughly. The reason for my 3* review and not recommending is that the Sales manager, Charlie. My trucks transmission was locked up. They told me they'd subtract the cost of a rebuilt transmission from the trade value they would have given had the truck been running which was about $23k. No problem.. that was fair, that's all we can ask for. What wasn't fair was the price of the rebuild. The sales manager deducted $6k from my trade, which was about $1500 more than the cost of the rebuild. What a shady piece of work. Liar. I know the cost because I rebuilt my wife's transmission 1 month before which was the same transmission as the one in my truck. I was given 3 different prices for a rebuild from independent transmission shops (all of which said they give dealerships discounts) and the cost of me rebuilding the transmission instead of the dealership was $500-$1000 less than what the sales manager deducted. He deducted $6000, when I could have gotten the rebuild done for $5000-$5500 without a dealership discount. Shady... Then he comes to me and says that they are buying a NEW transmission from GM.. I asked "why are you doing that?"... His reply was "because it's cheaper than a rebuild." So this shady fly by night sales manager named Charlie just admitted to fraudulently over charging me for a repair. I'm pretty sure that's fraud if you do that to an insurance company, right? You legally can't turn in the highest bid from a mechanic and then pocket the cash... But somehow this guy did. All I asked for was $500 more on my trade... My sales guy was great... My experience was perfect until I dealt with this shady sales manager. I'd go somewhere else to buy a car if you're bringing in a trade that may have some repairs. read more

If I could give them less than 1 star I would. I purchased a $22,200 Subaru on Friday, drove it home, the next day the power steering went. I HAD IT ONE DAY! The SUV had 13,500 miles & a 2015. I was told I had the remainder of the 36,000 Subaru warranty. I called them back, they said just take it to Subaru, where I find out it was a 3 year or 36,000 warranty, so the SUV breaks down the DAY after I purchase it, they tell me Tough S**T, they won't stand behind anything, and I'm out over $1,000. In the beginning they were selling a SUV that wasn't even in their name, and their finance manager was agitated the whole time, because I had PenFed financing, & all he did was try to talk me into take a higher interest rate from him. Finance department single handed deal killer! We picked the vehicle, we drove 3 hours to test drive and look the vehicle over, we decided to buy the vehicle and then the finance guy stepped in and down in flames the deal went. Instructions were very clear on what was needed to bring outside financing, approval letter and a good contact for the credit union we chose. Done, stayed in contact with our sales guy (Mike Martinez, who I would recommend if you decide to buy here) made sure the docs were received and we were good to go. Mike told me that finance was good to go. We arrived at the dealership at 1300, finance guy knew the credit union contact was only in the office until 1300. We stayed at the dealership for 1.5 hrs and decided the deal was good and we wanted to buy it. Finance department is lazy and unprofessional. Rene (finance guy) sat on the approval letter and waited until we decided to take delivery of the auto and THEN he actually read it and has a question about the approval letter. Dealer management did not care and did not get involved and the ONLY reason I stayed on the hook was because our sales guy Mike. He communicated, actually worked for the customer and was trying to get everything ready within his power to make this an easy transaction. We drove another 3 hours home in the same vehicle we arrived in. Not sure what else we could have done, but recommend if you decide to bring outside financing, ask to use someone else that is not the finance manager. read more
