Our one bedroom unit was a little dated and small, but offered the expected basic accommodation
    Veronique C.

3 1/2 stars We stayed at this place for a few night during ski season, and it was one of the very few spots that was not ridiculously expensive considering its location. What I liked the most is the fact that there are several restaurants within walking distance; downtown is just a little more than one mile away, and to get to the Park City slopes (about a mile walk otherwise) they have a very convenient shuttle that ran on time. The staff was very friendly and they offered a Happy Hour on Tuesdays that was surprisingly enjoyable, with wines, cheese and a nice charcuterie board. This gave us the opportunity to mingle with other guests. We had a one-bedroom unit and it felt a little dated in terms of furniture, but it had all the expected basics. It was also on the smaller side compared to other similar accommodations I've rented in the past such as condos in Snowmass. The motel-like setup was surprising, with most of the rooms opening to the outside. Unfortunately, I didn't get to use the heated pool and jacuzzi since the idea of walking in frigid temps to get there and back was not the least appealing to me. I'd recommend this place if you are fine with some of the units being fairly small and in need of an update.

Amazing rooms, customer service, shuttle that will take you all over town. Request a room with a view....you won't be disappointed. We were here in February for a week and decided to come back in March because this place is amazing. All the employees make you feel special. We will be back! Thank you for making our family ski vacation extra special!

When I think back at my 10 day stay at the Park Regency it was like before I drove up they took the Motel 6 Sign off and threw up a Park Regency sign. But the sad part about it was that no one left the light on for me. It is a straight up motel style deal right in the heart of Park City. Most of the Rooms you enter from the outside. The room had a slight stuffy stinch to it. After a couple of hours you did not even smell it anymore. When I went out to eat someone came up to me and kind of sniffed me and said. "You're staying at the Par Regency Arent You". Ok, that did'nt really happen, but it could have. The coolest thing about it was the lobby. When you check in to the lobby you say. hmm, this place is not so bad. They have free wireless internet that is only accessable in the lobby. They also have a computer in the lobby with high speed internet. One thing that pissed me off was that someone stole my phone charger right in the lobby while I was there. If you are looking for very basic accomodations this is the place. They rent rooms nightly. It is also a timeshare place so you can rent from someone who owns a timeshare there. I think the avg price during ski season is like between 70-100/night. But you get what you pay for. Hope that Yelps.

The Park Regency is decidedly no frills - certainly by Park City standards - but it's perfectly fine as no frill places go. Our room was clean, the bed was comfy, the bathrooms had been renovated, and the staff was very pleasant. The location is fantastic; there are several restaurants and bars within easy walking distance. The unexpected feature that my husband and I particularly enjoyed was the wood burning fireplace. We had a fire three of the four nights that we stayed there. The hotel provided wood the first night along with a firestarter gel pack and matches. We had a friend bring us additional firewood (although it's available to buy at nearby grocery stores) and the front desk was more than happy to give us more gel packs. The suite that we stayed in had a bedroom with a king sized bed, and a set of bunkbeds in an alcove by the front door. The sofa was a sleeper sofa. It was advertised as a suite that slept 4. We were traveling without the entourage, so it wasn't an issue - but if we did have our young children with us, I don't think the alcove sleeping arrangement would've cut it. There was no door and it would've been difficult to get them to sleep in that scenario. Bottom line - as a place to spend a few days for my husband and I, we were perfectly happy with our stay at the Park Regency.

Inexpensive, clean, accommodating. Last place we could find when rolling into town and glad we did. Staff was great and so was location.

Walkable into town - really cute Main Street. Perfect location if you are skier (when season is open). Units were quiet for most part - however could def hear the folks directly above us. Cons: Couch beds like paper - do not recommend for anyone outside of tiny young children. Only a few elevators - super slow. Parking spaces are tight- had regular size suv and would not go any larger. They want you to run DW, take out trash, wash towels, gather linens upon leaving when you are an owner. While I want to be helpful I'm also on vacation, have paid for the timeshare, pay ownership maintenance dues for upkeep and should not have to feel like I need to fully clean upon leaving. We did help but the only trash cans were in parking level and we were on 3rd floor - very inconvenient. Didn't like the fact they asked all that.

There were hoards of people all with large groups. We learned that this is a vacation club & there were no perks. There is no breakfast, no club room, parking is $25 daily ... We were given a property map, restaurant recommendations, & told to go to the Welcome Center. At the welcome center we were given a packet with 10% off a few shops and restaurants. We were offered a deal to come back for 3 days paying $200 & additional $300 or $400 when we stay. Check-in was at 4 o'clock and check out at 10 in the morning . We drove in reverse to the underground parking lot & went to the Alpine lodge room 5408. There are 6 lodges with restaurants, a pool & fitness center at the other end of the property. Our small room had a microwave, small refrigerator, dishes for 2, a safe, an outdated drip coffee pot for one cup, 1 luggage rack & no view. I was surprised that a van was bringing guests from another Marriott to our hotel. The pool was packed with lots of children. The water pressure was good, the king bed was plush & comfortable, and the air-conditioning kept us cool. The ceiling fan over a bed was a plus. I discovered that a vacation club isn't for us. All of the amenities here we have at home. After traveling for almost a month, the room was very tight. There was no housekeeping nor refreshing of items in the room. We went to a local market to shop for coffee, milk, soap, napkins... Marriott provided a list of where to take out our garbage recyclables and how to change bedding... on the way to the garbage room there was broken glass.

My expectations for this hotel was kind of low based the things I heard and from a previous stay in another city. Sure, the room was minimalistic and did not have much furniture in it. A sofa in the room would've made the room smaller. All the room had in it was a bed, table, chair, refrigerator and an ironing board. But, that was enough to make it an relaxing room for us. The bathroom was adequate. The shower had both a fancy shower faucet, and hand shower. Korres body wash, shampoo and conditioner was a nice change from the usual Marriott special soaps. The only strange thing about the bathroom was the square toilet. As a Titanium Elite member, breakfast was provided downstairs in their dining room. Breakfast was better than what I had heard. I had heard that it was a Euro breakfast with not much to eat except for a bunch of lunchmeat, toast and yogurt. The lunchmeat turned out to be manchago, brie and cheddar cheese, dry salami, prosciutto and oven roasted turkey. They did have yogurt, fresh fruit, bagels, croissants and scones. In addition to these items, they also had hot items like a proscuitto toast and a freshly cooked waffle with fruit. The breakfast was much better than most of the Bonvoy brands. Their gym had treadmills, ellipticals and dumb bells. There wasn't much in there, but, enough to get a good workout. Even I didn't use it, the pool did look nice. From check in to check out, service was very good. The front desk was good at meeting our needs. The restaurant staff was able to meet my needs for breakfast. I was impressed to see that the GM of the hotel worked in the restaurant in the mornings when they were shorthanded. It was a good hotel for us and a great stay.
